Motor Cycle Traders’ Association to relieve traders’ woes.....10

Membership is strictly free. There are no charges whatsoever as long as you are part of the motor cycle traders’ community at both Nabugabo-Shauriyako and Kisekka market especially Shamba Complex. We hope to extend our tentacles to other business fraternities all over Kampala and other parts of the country.

What challenges have you encountered since the formation of this association? We had previous predecessors that ruined the ideals of previous associations. This greatly lowered the zeal of traders.

We thus decided to engage our members at an interpersonal level as we progress to a national level. What is your vision of this association in times to come? We are yet to convene our first inaugural meeting soon in which we are going to devise strategies that will empower our members to profitably gain from their membership in form of advanced bargaining grounds when clearing their goods at Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), lobbying for more representative rights among our members that are local investors among other benefits.

This is just a tip of the iceberg; so much more is store for our members at each specific time. Right now, we are moving slowly but steadily to accomplish our medium term and long term objectives.

A platform For African Encyclopedists：-

Built on the premise and vision that Africa is the the 21st century, The A the over-arching new frontier of frican Schools Debate League / The Battle of Gifted Tongues is not only a,movement in the quest for Truth and knowledge but a platform for . African encyclopedists

Its on this platform where young and zealous academically passionate Africans express their desire for global impact using Truth and Knowledge as their tactical solution for African advancement as much global impact.

Indescriminately The ASDL / The Battle of Gifted Tongues attracts young Africans ready to be non-conformists and to flip the status-quo.

Indeed, the platform endeavors to spark a revolution that is intellectual, academic and spiritual.

An awakening out of the slumber that has long been a portion of this great continent called Africa.

Many times than not Africa has been without a doubt a continent in slumber.

To the extent that even our own divinely activated plight in many situations does not inspire nor motivate us to do something about our desperation and destitution. Since we been operating under the caveat that our problems are for the western hemisphere to solve.

And as long as that dispostion and mentality stays in the mind of this great continent then Africa shall not realize her full potentials.

Hence at the ASDL/ The Battle of Gifted Tongues we tickle a generation into a righteous indignation mood inorder to have a generation rising up to the occassion and battle with critical issues of the day and time.

This rising up to the occassion is a work in progress that will not yield results immediately but we do believe that in the due course of time a fundamental change in how we percieve ourselves us a continent will occur and happen.

Its on record that nobody walks on the ASDL / The Battle of Gifted Tongues platform and not be inspired academically , intellectually and spiritually.

Because you can be ignorant but once you come a at the Battle of Gifted, you have will be equipped with Knowledge and Truth.

Knowledge and Truth are weapons of warfare.

Sir Albert Einstein was was asked in one interview in regards to what kind of weapons shall be used in world war 3, Sir Albert Einstein responded and said, “ I dont know what weapons shall be used in World war 3 but what i do know if there will a World War 4 the weapons shall be sticks and stones“.

At the ASDL/The Battle of Gifted Tongues we understand that sticks and stones are symobolic to Truth and Knowledge.

Stones symobolize Truth and Sticks symbolize Knowledge.

With that being said the ASDL/ The Battle of Gifted Tongues is a platform for African Encyclopeadists that are equipped with Truth and Knowledge as weapons of warfare against everything that threatens the greatness of mother Africa.

One of the most drastic evils that threaten the greatness of mother Africa include ： corruption, dictatorship, greed for power, miseducation, self hate, poverty, and the lack of nationalism.

Africans should be aware that the greatest of all continents is Africa.

And as an African people our greatness should stand as a point of inspiration for other citizens of the world.

The natural wealth of Africa as a continent is second to none.

However we need to generate a group of Africa encyclopedists who understand the history , the present dynamics governing global economic/ political trends . As much as a people who understand the future based on spiritually inspired wisdom inorder to turn the Africa situation around for greater good.

For this same reason, the ASDL/ The Battle of Gifted was risen and still stands to this day with the financial boost and support of Ethopian Airlines.

Ethiopian Airlines is Africa’s perennial Airlines that has excelled in the Aviation imdustry over a period of 50yrs.

The Airline has won many prestigious Awards remaining Africa‘s number one Airline company both in terms of service delivery and in profitability.

After an hiatus due to the corona virus pandemic that literally caused all outdoor activities to pose.

The day to running of the Battle of Gifted Tongues are scheduled to commence anytime soon.
