Skin and Hair Care Tips for Pre Holi

1. Almond oil – Apply oil on your entire skin before playing Holi. You can use almond oil as its rich in vitamin E and will nourish your skin. It will also prevent the colors from sticking to your skin.

2. Coconut Oil - Your hair can get damaged due to the chemicals present in the colors. So, applying coconut hair to your hair is best to prevent it from getting frizzy and dry.

Post-Holi Tips for Skin and Hair Care

1. Use a mild face wash or soap to wash your face, so your skin retains moisture.

2. It is best to avoid cosmetic scrubs to remove colors, as they can make your skin rougher.

3. You can also use natural face packs to get rid of colors. If you have oily skin, mix ground orange peels and lentils with lemon juice, and rose water and apply this face pack. You can also combine equal parts of ripe banana, honey, and some milk for dry skin. Apply and rinse after some time.

4. When washing hair after playing Holi, wash your hair with shampoos that provide high moisture.

5. If your hair feels dry after washing, apply oil or a hair mask. Add 2 tablespoons of amla powder to 1 cup of yogurt. Apply and leave this mask on for 30 minutes, and rinse.
