More Than A Ribbon 1 Powderpuff is a female flag football game between the grades. This tradition at Glendale has been around for 10 years. Jenny Cofield said, “Honestly, it’s one of my favorite things that we do because everybody has a good time.” The main purpose of this event is to support women in breast cancer awareness. “This year, we made just $1,100, which goes straight to BCFO. BCFO, which is the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks,” through donations at the gate. Cofield said. As well the funds from all the girls uniforms go straight to the American Cancer Society through Glendale DECA. Freshman being able to play is a new thing that Glendale has started. The origin of the game was for juniors and seniors but Glendale has branched out.
