Theatre is a family, and Carolyn is the glue that kept us close this year. What an immensely talented young lady. We have all been thrilled to be serenaded by Carolyn and her Ukulele, and enjoyed the wonderfully developed characters she has brought to the stage. However beyond her talent, what is most impressive is Carolyn’s ability to connect with her cast and peers. Being a “lead” in a play or musical is more than just having the biggest part. It means mentoring younger actors, helping the director, and setting the example for everyone involved in the production. As our wonderful Starcatcher this year Carolyn did all of that and more. Most people know Carolyn is NOT a “morning person,” but she was at our early morning rehearsals ready to work, with a little help from copious amounts of caffeine :) Her excitement and enthusiasm are contagious and her passion for quality in all of her endeavors truly remarkable.
