Unireo – GEE Scholarship

Global Education Expert, the study abroad initiative of Sunshine Education, has launched the ‘Unireo-GEE Entrance Scholarship’ in collaboration with Unireo Educational Services Malaysia. This external scholarship has been created with the objective of promoting higher education in Malaysia to students from Bangladesh. Value of the Unireo-GEE Entrance Scholarship range up to $600 for degree programs and $1000 for MBBS. The Unireo-GEE Entrance Scholarship is open for students who plan to study in the following Malaysian universities: * Sunway University * UCSI University * Multimedia University * Asia Pacific University of (APU) * Universiti KL * Management & Science University (MSU) * INTI International University * University of Cyberjaya * Limkokwing University.

The agreement was signed by Dato Gandesan (Director, Unireo Educational Services, Malaysia) and Sameer Ghazi Rahman (Director, Sunshine Education, Bangladesh) on behalf of their respective organizations. All students applying for the noted Malaysian universities via Global Education Expert for the academic intakes up to February 2023 will automatically be a recipient of the Unireo-GEE Scholarship.

Sunshiners in the News Forbes 30 under 30 - Asia 2022 Congratulations to Sunshine Alumni, Jawad Jahangir, on being placed among the select group of trailblazers in the prestigious ‘Forbes 30 under 30 - Asia 2022’ by leading US business magazine Forbes in the category of “Social Impact” for his transportation start-up venture named Shuttle.

Jawad is the co-founder of Shuttle (web: https:/www.shuttlebd.com), which is a mass-transit startup based in Bangladesh that provides safe transportation at an affordable price by moving more people with fewer vehicles and caters to both B2B & B2C customers.

SAARC Brilliance Award 2022 Congratulations to Sunshine Alumni, Dr. Nazmus Sakib (MBBS, MD, Ph.D.), on receiving the “South Asian Regional Countries Brilliance Award 2022” for his tremendous wholehearted contribution to the health sector of Bangladesh and China during the pandemic. The award has been conferred to him by The World Book of Star Records, Vaikalpik Chikitsa Paddhati Sanstha and Tourism Board of Nepal on 16th April 2022. He was selected for this prestigious award out of 6500 nominations from the various member nations of SAARC.

SI Scholarship for Global Professionals Sunshine Alumnae Tanzil Ferdous has been awarded the fully funded "SI Scholarship for Global Professionals" at the prestigious Uppsala University in Sweden (2022 US News World Rank # 113).

This competitive scholarship is only provided to only 350 candidates every year out of thousands of applications from across the world. The objective of the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals is to develop future global leaders that will contribute to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
