Professor: Arthur Wrigglesworth
The primary goal of this project is to capture the spirit of high school that serves a meeting place between students and community. High schools should not feel claustrophobic or enclosed, hence a large centralized open space is proposed to provide clear views and circulation. The intention is to create connections to reveal or conceal the high school and the aquatics program. The overall form displays relationship between opaque and transparent with the concept of controlled clear openings.

Wave is a community gathering hybrid design of a street skateboarding park. The intention is to create wave like properties for skaters and to include opportunities for all age groups and ability levels. From beginners to intermediate as well as spectators and non-active users.

Life at Bancroft | Affordable Housing
Location: 1 Madawaska Street, Bancroft

Professor: Michelle Grant
Life at Bancroft is a housing complex that attracts all ages of the community. The intention is to promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for the people of Bancroft. Hence this eleven unit complex brings forward a community space in the form of a free food market, where food is grown from the community garden and distributed to the people. There are multiple gardens scattered throughout the site with few residents occupying a private rooftop greenhouse enabling them to engage with the community.
