The Contact SLR XR D-Fuse handlebar features a 5-degree back sweep and flare drop for comfortable and ergonomic grip. The D-Fuse SLR seatpost can be swapped out for a 30.9mm or 27.2mm round seatpost. These proprietary D-Fuse components absorb bumps and reduce vibrations, ensuring less fatigue and more fun on those epic rides.

The frame is constructed from high-performance grade raw carbon material in our own composite factory, providing exceptional strength and lightweight performance for greater power transfer, agility, and efficiency. The front triangle is assembled and molded as one continuous piece using a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

D-Fuse technology was first introduced in 2014 as a seatpost for pro-level cyclocross bikes. It was designed to absorb low-amplitude shocks and highamplitude vibrations to deliver a smoother ride on variable terrain. The heart of this pioneering concept is its distinctive “D-shaped” tubing with a round front and flattened rear section. Following its success in cyclocross, including multiple world championship titles, D-Fuse technology was expanded to endurance road and gravel bikes—and later to the front half of the bicycle. Together, the handlebar and seatpost add compliance at two key contact points without the unwanted complexity or weight associated with pivots or inserts. There are several, gravel-specific, D-Fuse handlebar options available for the Devote range –each more compliant and lighter than their round-shaped predecessors.

A D-shaped composite shaft absorbs shocks and vibrations. With up to 7mm of flex, this engineered compliance produces a smooth ride quality to help minimize fatigue.

The flip chip – dropout on the Liv Devote range enables geometry and tire clearance customization to match your riding style and terrain. By switching the chip between the short and long positions, you can opt for either a more agile, responsive ride or enhanced stability and comfort.
You’ll find a flip chip on each side of the rear dropout that can be set to a long or short position. The integrated system consists of eccentric, offset hardware that can be easily loosened, removed and flipped to the long or short setting using a 5mm hex wrench.
SHORT POSITION
LONG POSITION
When the flip chip is in the short position, the wheelbase becomes shorter, allowing for a maximum tire clearance of 45mm.
When the flip chip is in the long position, the wheelbase extends 10mm, providing an increased tire clearance of up to 53mm.
SHORT POSITION
When the flip chip is in the short position, the wheelbase is shorter, resulting in a quicker, more agile ride quality. This is a great option when riding mixed terrain that combines paved roads with smooth, fast gravel and dirt. The responsive feel, combined with smaller diameter (and lighter weight) tires, makes it a smart choice when speed, efficiency and quick handling matter most.
LONG POSITION
When the flip chip is in the long position, the wheelbase extends, which adds stability for more rugged gravel and dirt. Additionally, you get added tire clearance (up to 53mm), which allows you to choose high-volume tires for added traction and control. The long position is a great choice for rides and routes that might include fast, loose descents and tricky off-road climbs.
The all-new Contact AeroLight stem is specifically designed for round steerers, offering easy cable management to ensure a tidy and integrated cable system for all setups.
Designed for traditional forks with roundsteerer tubes, the Contact AeroLight stem faceplate channels external cables beneath the sides of the stem. This design not only enhances aerodynamic performance but also provides a clean, integrated appearance for both drop-bar and flat-bar bikes.
When combined with a round steerer tube, the stick-to-steer cable guides and top and bottom enlarged-size bearings create additional room within the headset for shifter, brake, and dropper lines.
Cables are channeled beneath the stem, providing extra cable length for convenient headset spacer adjustments.
