TOTAL WINS
Designed for and with our pro road team, the Langma quickly becomes the climbing bike of choice from the Pyrenees to the Alps. Riding the new Langma, Team Sunweb racks up the victories, including Lucinda Brand’s Queen Stage 8 win at Giro Rosa.
Ruth Winder wins Giro Rosa’s hilly stage 5, Coryn Rivera wins the Tour of Norway, to name just a few.
Marianne Vos wins La Course by Le Tour de France, the Women’s World Tour title, four stages at Giro Rosa, and many, many, many more.
6 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Racing resumes after a year of cancellations and postponements, and Lotte Kopecky accelerates to victory at Le Samyn Des Dames aboard the all-new Langma Advanced SL Disc, the first disc brake model for the team.
Marianne Vos, Ashley Moolman-Pasio and their teammates continue to rack up the W’s, including Team Classification for Giro Rosa.
The heart of the Langma is an ultra-light Advanced SL-Grade Composite frameset—which we’ve rebuilt with longer, more continuous pieces of carbon fiber for a stiffer bike that’s 60 grams lighter.* So you get a responsive ride that accelerates immediately, skims over rough roads and surges up climbs. And a translucent frame coating shows off this carbon construction, making the Langma look as fast as it feels.
We’ve re-engineered the Langma fork for 50% more lateral stiffness,** for precise handling and responsiveness. An oversized headset and all-new Liv Contact SLR handlebar boost control without sacrificing aerodynamics. Integrated, flat-mount disc brakes deliver stopping confidence in varied conditions. The Langma even accommodates tires up to 32mm for extra grip in the corners and cobbles.
Updated truncated ellipse tubing reduces wind drag at a wider range of yaw angles, gaining you precious seconds in flats, descents, and headwinds. Our relentless testing and refinement have also inspired the development of the new fully-carbon Variant SLR seatpost. Plus, the all-new CADEX 36 Disc WheelSystem with side-drag control lets you stash more watts for the sprint finish.

Already favored by climbing addicts and WorldTour racers, the all-new Langma Advanced SL Disc is redesigned to be lighter, stiffer, and ready to throw down on race day.
Professional-grade raw carbon material is woven and formed in our own composite factory using our most advanced engineering and construction methods, including Continuous Fiber Technology for greater strength and less weight; Carbon Nanotube Technology resin for better impact resistance; and FusionProcess for lighter, stronger frame junctions.
Longer, more continuous pieces of carbon fiber across frame tubes and junctions means greater stiffness with less weight. And the continuous application of SL-Grade Composite in the chainstays provides a stronger connection from the dropout to the bottom bracket, meaning not only less weight but also more efficient power transfer.
Constructed with fully continuous pieces of cut carbon and a higher percentage of Advanced SL-Grade Composite material than any other model, this new fork enhances steering control, precision, and stiffness. Plus, it now features discbrake integration and increased clearance for tires up to 32mm.
Frame coating with Xirallic® or Colorstream® provides a light, thin coating that reveals the carbon fiber construction. Xirallic® and Colorstream® are trademarks of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, German and/or affiliates.
Our all-new carbon handlebar features an aerodynamic design, ergonomic grip and optimized drop and reach that’s customized for women’s measurements.
Using more continuous carbon fibers and titanium bolts, Langma’s first fully-carbon seatpost is lightweight, aero, and easily adjustable.
New strategically engineered airfoil sections in the frame and fork, developed through Computational
Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and wind-tunnel testing, reduce wind drag at a wider range of yaw angles compared to traditional “teardrop”-shaped tubes.
Liv’s most advanced steerer tube technology. Designed to offer unprecedented front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1-1/2” lower, 1-1/4” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in harmony to provide supreme steering stiffness.
A massive rectangular downtube forms the link between the OverDrive 2 headtube area and the PowerCore bottom bracket. This precisely engineered, rectangular shape yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness while optimizing aerodynamic flow over a standard water bottle.
An oversized bottom-bracket/ chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86millimeter-wide bottom-bracket design. Symmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
Advanced SL-Grade Composite frames features e-shifting only cable routing for a clean look.
Custom-engineered Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL), reinforced carbon lay-up, high-tensile-strength carbon aero spokes and innovative hookless rim design combine to provide faster acceleration, ultra efficiency, stability and control.
The hookless rim design provides better overall durability and it adds inner rim width without adding weight. It also creates a rounder tire shape, providing greater sidewall support when cornering, and superior grip and handling overall.
The frame and fork are engineered for flat-mount disc brakes, delivering powerful, consistent braking performance in all conditions.

To best test for real-world conditions, we conducted both steering and pedaling stiffness with its corresponding fork in place to determine the final frameset transmission stiffness. The stiffer the frame, the greater cornering control, responsiveness to rider input and power transmission, enabling the rider to achieve and maintain higher speeds with less effort.
• Utilized protocols established by Germany’s TOUR magazine
• Medium framesets
• Frame was locked at the rear dropouts with lateral force applied to the fork TEST
Applied lateral force to the fork and measured the torsional flex of the frameset under load.
Langma Advanced SL Disc provides up to...
• 21% greater transmission stiffness over first-generation Langma Advanced SL (rim)
• 13% greater transmission stiffness over Specialized Tarmac SL7 Disc
• 35% greater transmission stiffness over Trek Emonda SLR 9 Disc
TESTING STANDARDS
Frameset is defined as the following:
• Size medium, painted/ decaled production frame
• Production fork (uncut)
• Seatpost (included with the frameset)
• Seat clamp
• Front and rear derailleur hanger/ clamps
• All production hardware (water bottle bolts, etc.)
AND THE WINNER IS.... THE ALL-NEW LANGMA ADVANCED SL DISC!
The re-engineered Langma frameset rises to the top podium step in stiffness-to-weight ratio.
* Seat angle is actual
** Toptube is measured from the center of the headtube horizontally back to the top of the effective extension of the seattube
*** Standover height is based on the largest tire that will fit the bike not necessarily the included size tire
