WHAT'S HAPPENING In Kids Ministry?
Promotion Sunday – All kids will be moving into their new lifegroup classes starting Sunday, August 10 Promotion Cards will be mailed out the week of August 3rd If you do not receive any information before then, contact us at (205) 488-8741 We will help answer any questions about lifegroups, classes, or Kids Worship
Awakening - Preschoolers and Children through 3rd grade are invited join us on Wednesday Nights during Awakening for Road Trip Through worship, games, snacks, and other activities, kids will learn that God is always with them Dress up theme nights include PJ Night (13th), Matching Night (20th), and Tacky Tourist Night (27th) Babies through K5 will meet in the Preschool Area 1st-3rd Graders will meet in the Kids Theater
K5 Bible Presentation - Our new K5 Class of 2026, we would like to present you with a brandnew Bible on Sunday, August 24, during the 10:50 service This is a Milestone Moment in the GFBC Kids Ministry that we want to celebrate alongwith you If you would like your K5 student to receive a new Bible, please contact Lacie Poit at laciep@gfbcorg

Awakening Revival Services - Awakening is not just another church meeting We are asking God to do what only He can do If there was ever a time, we needed an awakening a stirring a movement of God, it is now! God, do it again! Join us on August 13 , 20 , and 27 at 6:30 PM The worship will be incredible with our Celebration Choir and Orchestra! The preaching will be powerful and anointed!

A MESSAGE / DEVOTION
Five Truths of God
Items Needed: Bible, paper, writing utensil God is powerful (Jeremiah 32:17) God can be trusted (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Write out these truths and place them on the fridge There are five truths one for each finger Say each truth as you lift each finger
When hard times come, we might doubt God is with us or if He even loves us Elijah felt afraid and unsure when he faced difficult times and scary, unknown situations, but God is trustworthy He took care of Elijah, and He takes care of us too! Knowing these important truths can help us trust God no matter what happens
