GET YOUR TEACH ON ATLANTA CONFERENCE

out of the vault Growth. It’s never easy. In fact, it’s a choice. We can choose to remain where we are, or look toward continually making ourselves better. A reminder that I’ve always told myself is: how dare I walk into a school every day and ask my students to learn, if I am not also growing myself each day as well. I am so honored that you have chosen to continue your growth with us here at Lead On for the Get Your Teach On Conference. I have worked with my leadership team to help develop a truly one-of-a-kind experience for you. Learning that is hands-on, has immediate takeaways, and grows the whole leader. We are bringing in experts from around the country who couldn’t be more excited to pour into you and grow alongside you. Leadership isn’t easy. Everyone has an opinion about the decisions you make, though few know just how hard we deliberate before each of those decisions. Just how much sleep we lose each night over our students and our team, how much of ourselves we give to this job every day. It is our hope that Lead On reminds you of just how amazing you are, and how much you are needed and valued. All while growing you even more and pushing you outside of your comfort zone. Because we all know we aren’t truly learning until we’re a little bit uncomfortable. Thank you again for being here. I can't wait to meet you face-to-face and let you know how appreciated you are! You are exactly where you’re meant to be for a reason! With excitement,

Todd Nesloney

lead on sessions CULTURE MATTERS with Todd Nesloney

The buzzwords in education are constantly changing, but one thing remains the same; we must guide our students along a path that positions them for success. Instead of solely looking forward, it's vital to also look UP and DOWN. Amelia will lead and guide you through the crucial aspect of planning that often goes unnoticed: vertical standard alignment. From foundational skills to higher-level thinking, let's dive in! Once we've established vertical alignment, it's time to differentiate within the confines of your own classroom. We will walk you through best practices for whole-group and small-group differentiation, as well as strategies for collecting data to inform instruction across all subject areas. If we aim for school-wide growth, we must take action, and Amelia will demonstrate how to effectively design and implement this plan for success!

BE THE SPARK with Todd Nesloney

Todd is passionate about igniting a love for reading both on and off campus. The true power lies in encouraging children (and adults!) to read because they genuinely enjoy it, not solely for a test or assignment (we've all been there!). Todd shares a multitude of ideas on how your campus (or classroom) can cultivate a love for reading, allowing everyone to experience the spark of falling in love with a good book.

THE (MAD) SCIENCE OF READING AND WRITING with Amelia Capotosta and LaNesha Tabb

Reading and writing are reciprocal processes that mutually bolster each other. Thus, when we observe a student facing challenges in one area, it often manifests in the other. Let's reshape our mindset and aid these struggling readers and writers in becoming striving readers and writers. With a few strategic steps, Amelia and LaNesha will offer tips to support your striving learners on their path to success.

Learn powerful strategies and techniques to make effective daily instructional decisions that focus on student growth. That's the kind of data we love to utilize!

LET’S GET VERTICAL! with Amelia Capotosta

The buzzwords in education are constantly evolving, but one thing remains constant: our commitment to guiding students toward success. Instead of merely focusing on the present, we must also consider the broader perspective, looking both upward and downward. Amelia will lead and guide you through the often-overlooked but crucial aspect of planning: vertical standard alignment. From foundational skills to higherlevel thinking, let's dive in! Once we've established vertical alignment, it's time to implement differentiation within the walls of your classroom. We will provide guidance on best practices for whole-group and small-group differentiation, along with strategies for collecting data to inform instruction across all subject areas. To achieve school-wide growth, action is required, and Amelia will demonstrate how to successfully design and implement this plan.
