We, also, have MORE exciting news and that is the introduction of our newest Tocal team member, Amy Fritchman. Amy will be overseeing daily operations and you will see her out and about helping manage clients and strategic distribution. Amy and her husband Mark, along with their three beautiful children, have been residents of SSI for over 13 years. Mark is currently an associate pastor at St. Simons Community Church. Amy specializes in planning, organizing, and team management.

We couldn’t be more excited to add someone to our team that is so passionate about this community’s growth and development. Promoting great culture is a high value of hers and we are honored to be able to provide you with continued customer service at this level.

The Georgia/Florida Golf Classic on Jekyll Island October 24 thru 26 at The Jekyll Island Golf Courses.

This is a 2-Day team event that anyone can enter, either as a single or a 4-man team. It’s a celebration of the upcoming Georgia-Florida Game in Jacksonville on Saturday. Includes refreshments, a free lunch on both tournament days, and dinner on Friday night. Team prizes for all divisions of play are awarded. For more information call 912-635-2368.

The RSM Classic November 18 thru 24, at The Seaside and Plantation Golf Courses on St. Simons Island. This is a regular PGA Tournament that is sure to draw most of the world’s top players to St. Simons Island. For tickets and information, go to www.rsmclassic.com.

Crafts Along Newcastle Winter Wonderland Saturday, November 30th, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy the streets of Brunswick while shopping for crafts, art, soap, candles, woodworking, jewelry, and hand-crafted Santas.

Jekyll Island Tree Lighting & Holidays in History Saturday, November 30th in the Jekyll Island Historic District. There will be caroling, workshops, and themed tours.

Jekyll Island Christmas Twilight Tours Fridays and Saturdays at 4 p.m., December 1 thru 29. $20 Adults. $10 Children ages 7-15. Children 6 and under free.

A tram tour highlights Holiday Tales and the lights and decorations of the season on Jekyll. Includes a unique tour of Faith Chapel and concludes with light refreshments and sunset views from Indian Mound Cottage.

First Friday in Downtown Brunswick On the first Friday of every month, downtown Brunswick will host an event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., where all the shops, galleries, and restaurants will stay open late and serve wine and snacks. There will be live music in the Signature Squares, creating a festive atmosphere for shopping and dining.

A great event for tourists and locals.

Georgia Sea Turtle Center Behind the Scenes Tour At the Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island in the Historic District, from October 1 thru December 29, on Sundays-Wednesdays at 4 p.m.

Go behind the scenes and witness the turtles’ food preparation, Holding Area, Treatment Room, and Surgical Suite. Admission is $25 per person.
