Che cos’è esattamente?

La paglia di grano è lo stelo rimasto dopo la raccolta dei chicchi di grano.Tradizionalmente, è stato trattato come uno spreco. In alcuni paesi, gli agricoltori lo bruciano, contribuendo all'inquinamento atmosferico e creando un pericolo per la salute pubblica. Tuttavia, questi gambi hanno ancora valore. Recuperiamo questo materiale e lo utilizziamo per realizzare i nostri prodotti in paglia di grano.

What exactly is it?

Wheat straw is the stalk left over after wheat grains are harvested. Traditionally, it has been treated as a waste.

In some countries, farmers burn it, contributing to air pollution and creating a public health hazard. However, these stalks still have value. We recover this material and use it to make our wheat straw products.

Perché lo usiamo?

Come sappiamo le foreste sono minacciate di estinzione in tutto il mondo, quindi è importante per noi trovare materiali alternativi che non richiedono risorse forestali.

Con la fibra di grano, è ancora possibile utilizzare prodotti di "carta" usa e getta ad alte prestazioni, scegliendo un prodotto che è fatto di fibra di grano rapidamente rinnovabile e rigenerata anziché alberi. Ciò che è ancora piu’ rilevante è che alla fine della sua vita, puoi inviare la tua conchiglia alla struttura di compostaggio commerciale anziché a una discarica.

Why do we use it?

As we know forests are threatened and endangered around the world, so it is important for us to find alternative materials that do not require virgin forest resources.

With wheat fiber, you can still use high performing disposable “paper” products, choosing a product that is made from rapidly renewable and reclaimed wheat fiber instead of trees. What's even better is that at the end of its life, you can send your clamshell to the commercial composting facility instead of a landfill.

What exactly is it?

As a fiber, polyester can be used to make anything from clothing and blankets to bags and promotional items.
