The Dr. Frank and Nancy Turnage Health Sciences Building is part of an effort to designate Locust Grove as the primary nursing and health campus for the College. It will contain the Robert C. O’Neill Clinic, named after the late husband of former Germanna Educational Foundation board member Mary Jane Pitts O’Neill. O’Neill gifted Germanna $1.5 million to help establish the medical campus in Locust Grove and support the expansion in Stafford.

Germanna is expanding its healthcare programs to Stafford County thanks to generous contributions from Kevin Dillard, Mary Jane Pitts O’Neill, and Rhonda and Adam Fried. Dillard, President and CEO of LifeCare Medical Transports and a graduate of Germanna, contributed $1 million to the College’s Stafford expansion. O’Neill donated $500,000 towards the expansion, helping fulfill the College’s goal of doubling its nursing capacity. Adam Fried, CEO of Atlantic Builders, and his wife Rhonda donated $1 million to support the Stafford center.
