PHILIPPINE WOMEN’S FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION Logo design Objectives: To create a brand that is attractive to the company’s target market, potential partners and stakeholders in order to encourage and increase the number of women in football by raising awareness, fostering development and providing reliable information to create pathways for women in football.

SOCIATION AS
Approach: The usual assumption when the word ‘woman’ appears is a feminine color and feel. Aside from this, the idea of using the colors of the Philippine flag was something commonly used among organizations that represent the country. The designer chose to deviate from this norm and decided to go with a unique approach that would focus less on gender and instead focus on drawing attention to the sport. Vibrant colors were used to evoke energy, promote activity and to feel fresh, to stand out when put beside other association logos.

Logo, Branding Identity & Packaging design
Objectives: To create a brand that is attractive, relatable, approachable and connects to locals. Approach: The product in itself was marketable already but required something extra in order to stand out in an already saturated market. The very essence of where the product was made was incorporated into the brand, making the brand’s focal point the essence of the Philippines rather than the product itself.
In making use of the product’s natural colors as a base for the brand’s color and direction, giving it life and identity beyond the product itself.

GRIT SPORTS PH
When: 12 March 2020 What: Logo and Brand Identity design Who: GRIT Sports PH Business Link: https://gritsportsph.com/
Logo & Brand Identity design Objectives: To create a brand that is relevant, unique and memorable. Approach: Football academies in the country are rising in popularity, but Sporting agencies that specifically cater to football players are less common. With this in mind, GRIT Sports is a pioneer in the field, and pioneers need to stand out and be memorable. GRIT’s design process was inspired by minimalist logos that stood the test of time, especially those of big brands.
A simple monogram that could be associated with the brand as well as providing flexibility in its usage over the next few decades. Its color palette upon its creation, rode with the trend of creating vibrant sporting related brands to evoke energy and activity, but given the logo’s flexibility, it gives the brand assurance that it can ride with trends, but ultimately still stand on its own.

KOMETA VIRTUAL LIVE Logo & Brand Identity design
Objectives: To create a brand that is flexible, timeless and memorable. Approach: Virtual youtubing or ‘Vtubing’ is a multimillion dollar industry in Japan that has a market presence that is steadily growing in the Philippines. This marks an opportunity for a company such as Kometa to be the first official Vtube company in the country. While there are some small time vtubing groups present, none have any relevant brand presence among the target market. The designer took inspiration from Japanese designs, leaning towards minimalism and creating a wordmark that is powerful and relevant which would then carry the iconmark until such a time that the icon itself is memorable enough to be independent from the wordmark. Kometa plays around colors that catch the eye easily and are of significant contrast in order to stand out considering majority of its presence is digital.

UNITED CITY FOOTBALL CLUB
When: 27 July 2020 What: Logo and Jersey design Who: United City Football Club Business Link: https://www.unitedcityfootballclub.com/
Logo & Jersey design
Approach: United City, formerly Ceres Negros, is the most successful professional football club in the Philippines, and one of Southeast Asia’s most dominant. Upon change of ownership from Ceres to MMC Sportz Asia, the club was rebranded and renamed. The design process required to create a logo that is in line with
the club’s success is simple. Be able to communicate each and every element put into the logo. Football crests in the country would usually lack any design thinking or process, resulting in subpar and confusing crests. The design process used here adapts that of how European football clubs design their crests. As with the logos, the design process for the jerseys were to have elements that were relevant to the club’s history, making use of its success and its place of origin.

E-SCIENCE Logo & Brand Identity design
Objectives: Total Brand Overhaul. Approach: The client has been established since 2000, but has never made any real attempt in cementing the business’ branding up until recently. The brand was reliable, familiar and established, but was very dated and unappealing to the newer markets, so the design process was about modernizing and establishing the overall look and feel for an already established name.

ENDURALAND
When: 12 February 2021 What: Logo and Brand Identity design Who: Enduraland Business Link: https://www.enduraland.com.ph/
Logo & Brand Identity design Objectives: To modernize the current brand Approach: The business’ look is straightforward and has an established identity, although in order to compete with other development companies such as Megaworld, SMDC, or Ayala, the brand needed to appeal to the demographic that Enduraland wanted to target. In this design process, the logo and wordmark needed to be fleshed out and simplified.
So much so, that the wordmark itself became the company’s logo in order to establish brand recall. Its color palette was also fleshed out (quite literally) in order to evoke sophistication and value. The typography of the brand was also established in order to create a more streamlined look.

THREE MONKEYS Logo & Brand Identity design
Objectives: To create a logo and brand that would would be easy on the eye. Memorable but does not steal attention from the products of the business Approach: Being able to create a brand and logo normally means creating something that catches the eyes of the consumer. So it was an interesting prospect creating a logo and brand that doesn’t necessarily catch the eye, but complement the services/products that Three Monkeys offers, being able to identify that it is Three Monkeys while not necessarily depending on the logo and branding alone, but its services and products.

EMERALD SHORES
When: 7 November 2021 What: Logo design Who: Emerald Shores
Logo Design
Objectives: To create a brand that is relevant, easy on the eye and pleasing to both male and female demographics. Approach: The business centers on landscape architecture and needed to establish its brand as such. The design process revolved around creating a logo that serve as a monogram and as a literal symbol of the brand’s product/service.
The brand’s color palette was chosen to aim for two goals: Professionalism, legitimacy and authority, as well as evoking softness and natural calm.

Bolthole Bar
When: 21 November 2021 What: Logo Design Who: Bolthole Bar Business Link: https://web.facebook.com/TheBoltHoleBarPH
Logo Design Objectives: To create a responsive logo that can be easily applied on Neon Signages. Approach: Creating something that resembles a throwback to the era of neon signages is a growing trend that can be capitalized on as this makes for an eye-catching display that makes your brand feel vibrant and alive. Creating a logo that would be used as the face of the bran while making it easy to translate as a neon sign meant creating a logo that was readable and had little elements. Brand identity design portfolio
The design process for this brand was to stand out and create a more retroesque design direction that plays with lights around an otherwise dimly lit venue. This makes the element of light a functioning brand element.

ANTE Logo & Brand Identity design
Objectives: To create a brand that is simple, eye-catching and flexible in its usage Approach: The Business’ Proposed Logo was created with the thought of its core principles in at its forefront. For the brand to stand for adaptability, simplicity, and intuition as its core values, so too should its very mood and brand. The use of vibrant colors in combination with subtle ones creates a more pleasant and less straining experience for users and it’s something Ante aims for. A growing trend across a lot of industries points to a minimalist, flexible and easy to use approach to logos and branding, creating a more streamline, user-friendly, and developer friendly system that can be easily understood.

DUMPER TIGERS Logo Design
Objectives: To create a logo that can adhere to sponsorship needs that would allow changes in colorway or hierarchy but still retain brand recognition. Approach: The client gave a brief supplying all the details needed to be included in the concept and required creative direction and proper execution in how to incorporate the necessary details without compromising the essence of the logo and the existing sponsors within it but still be able to accomodate new sponsors. With this it was decided to incorporate the ‘Dumper’ tag into the brand’s wordmark instead of an actual logo within the brand as it would create a cluttered design. The colorway of the brand was also changed to give more impact to the changes made by the sponsors.

PNW Life
When: 17 November 2021 What: Logo, Brand Identity and Web design Who: PNW Life Business Link: https://pnwjourney.com/
Logo, Brand Identity & Web Design Objectives: To modernize the current brand Approach: The new proposed Direction of PNW Life is an embodiment of Unity and direction, seamlessly incorporating the significant elements of the brand into one cohesive logomark. Customary with any Hiking or Camping brand, we see the varying shades of green, and these are the colors that create a foundation stable enough for us to expand our brand.
Making use of added colors creates contrast with our greens and will therefore help in making our brand stand out. This also aids in readability and brand recognition.

GMD Pro Logo & Brand Identity design
Objectives: To create a brand and logo that represents the services, ideals and the direction of the business and its founders Approach: GMD is a startup back established in 2018 that required a face to the business. The basic approach similar to a lot of manufacturing companies was to create a logo that showed the literal product/service of the business. But given GMD’s ambitious and young team they wanted to stand out from the norm. So the design for this logo was founded on the ambition that the founders expressed, giving a fresh, modern, subtle yet understandable logo and brand that would give potential stakeholders and clients alike, the much needed security and assurance in delivering their needs.

HONGKONG BAZAAR
When: 13 January 2022 What: Logo and Brand Identity design Who: Hongkong Bazaar Business Link: https://facebook.com/hkb.ph
Logo & Brand Identity design Objectives: To refresh the current brand for usability purposes and to be able to flesh out its current brand elements Approach: HongKong Bazaar's approach is to create stories wherein the brand revolves around relatable, shareable stories, deviating from the usual highly curated posts, but still being able to properly show its products, creating a more authentic and non-hard sell experience.
Brand identity design portfolio
The Brand’s current logo, while amazing in itself, provides an opportunity to capitalize on its already strong foundation and to create a logo that doesn’t deviate too far from the established brand but also creates a flexible brand system based from the logo. Slight tweaks were made to the original colors to ensure a more vibrant and eye-catching tones that accurately represents our brand.
