ACTION POINT community support services

“It’s
about making people feel that they belong in the community and about breaking down barriers. I think we do it really well. Everyone is so caring and genuine. They want to make a difference. I think we make a real difference.”

Diane

“It makes you feel better that you’re cooking them a nice warm meal. The menu today is for Mexican Week. So, we’re doing Chicken Fahitas … with chips!”
Tina

“[What I like about coming here is] the staff are nice.” Lucy

“Commitment to working with some of the hardest-to-reach people and also being grassroots – almost not making a distinction between the people that use the service and the people that are delivering the service.”
Andy
