There are opportunities for every student to shine at GWA with incredible award-winning fine arts offerings: dance, marching band, theater, piano, video production, sports broadcasting, chorus, and concert band, as well as an impressive array of visual arts including photography, ceramics, graphic design, sculpture, drawing, painting, printmaking, and yearbook. In addition to exploring and strengthening their interests and talents, students also build leadership, fine motor, and criticalthinking skills through participation in GWA fine arts programs.
While GWA coaches are focused on excellence on the field, they are also committed to building confidence, commitment, and character. Our youth, middle, JV and varsity sports programs provide tremendous opportunities for students of all ages. At GWA, 17 sports are offered including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, equestrian, e-sports, football, golf, lacrosse, majorettes, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball, and wrestling.

With more than 30 clubs and organizations, service projects and activities, students can explore and pursue their interests and passions while developing key life skills such as communication, collaboration, and problem solving. Families are also highly involved at GWA through our Dawgs 360 organization, special events, and traditions.
The global studies program is an important part of delivering on the GWA mission “to provide challenging instruction, engaging experiences, and global perspectives.” From kindergarten through 12th grade, students learn about the many cultures and customs throughout the world as they develop global competency and citizenship knowledge and skills. And learning extends beyond the four walls of the classroom as upper school students have the option to participate in exciting and enlightening global travel.
