ABOUT The Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR) program is a highly structured residential facility for individuals 18 and older who need additional mental health support to develop the skills and support necessary to live in an independent community setting.

The George Junior Republic in PA (GJR in PA) LTSR program has a homelike atmosphere where clients participate in recovery-focused and trauma-informed services. Individualized plans include psychiatric services, competency restoration, and life skills building, focused on social skill development, problemsolving, and daily community living skills.

LONG-TERM STRUCTURED RESIDENCE (LTSR)

TREATMENT

ADMISSION Referrals Referrals must be submitted by the individual's county behavioral health representative and include the following records: physical, psychiatric evaluation, diagnoses, and legal history. All referrals should be emailed to: ltsrreferrals@gjr.org

Capacity The LTSR is a 15-bed residence.

Length of Stay Each resident's length of stay will be determined by their individual needs and progress through their treatment plan.

Low-Risk Population The LTSR serves individuals living with mental health diagnoses who do not present an imminent risk to themselves or others. GJR in PA welcomes individuals who have been judicially involved.

The LTSR provides 24/7 treatment with experienced psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, mental health professionals, and peer specialists.

Recovery-focused treatment promotes the individuals' ability to return to their local community as independently as possible.

The multidisciplinary team collaborates with outpatient community-based services to provide supportive mental health care following an LTSR stay.

PHYSICAL HEALTH & WELLNESS The GJR in PA Wellness Center provides contracted physical, dental, and vision healthcare.

LTSR residents receive physical healthcare and Specialty and emergency medical services, which are provided on campus and within the LTSR community.

The facility houses an indoor gym and a secured outdoor recreational space to promote physical wellness.

SAFETY & SECURITY The LTSR has 24/7 supervised care. The GJR in the PA transportation department arranges all transportation to and from the LTSR community.

Safety protocols include secured entry points, video camera surveillance, staff members wear panic alarms alongside automatic phone calls and text messaging software to alert the campus security team if assistance is needed.

The LTSR facility is 100% ADA-compliant and accessible.
