Genotypic Technology brought cuttingaedge sequencing innovation to the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology SICGEBT, New Delhi, on

8th February with a specialized workshop on the Oxford Nanopore PromethION 2 Solo. This session was designed to equip researchers with the skills and knowledge needed to harness the full potential of highathroughput, realatime, long read sequencing. Participants engaged in handsaon training, exploring the scalability, speed and accuracy of P2 Solo for decoding complex genomes with unprecedented efficiency.

From February 13a15, Genotypic Technology participated in the MPAICON 2025 at CMC Vellore, engaging with molecular pathology experts, clinicians, and scientists

THE GENOMEINFORMATICS WORKSHOP

Empowering Researchers with CuttingaEdge NGS Data Analysis Skills

Genotypic Technologyps TwoaDay HandsaOn Genomeinformatics Workshop in Bangalore on February 20th and 21st, 2025, brought together researchers,

scientists, and industry professionals for an inadepth exploration of nextageneration sequencing SNGST data analysis. Designed to provide handsaon experience with reala world datasets, the workshop equipped participants with cuttingaedge skills in bioinformatics, covering both longaread and shortaread sequencing workflows.

The workshop began with an immersive session on whole genome sequencing SWGST approaches, introducing participants to commandaline scripting and bacterial WGS analysis.

Experts guided attendees through key aspects of variant calling, including single nucleotide polymorphisms SSNPsT, structural variations, copy number variations SCNVsT, and repeat analysis.

Day two expanded the learning experience by delving into transcriptomics and metagenomics. The morning sessions focused on 16S metagenome analysis, where participants explored taxonomy classification, comparative analysis, and microbial community profiling. In the afternoon, the focus shifted to transcriptomics, with inadepth training on data quality control, trimming, alignment, isoform detection, and annotation. The final session provided a forwardalooking perspective on the role of artificial intelligence SAIT and machine learning SMLT in genomics, followed by discussions on NGS data storage, retrieval, and quality control. The workshop concluded with an engaging Quiz session, where participants shared their experiences and gained further insights from the experts. Certificates were awarded, marking the completion of an intensive and transformative learning journey.

OGenotypic Technology successfully installed and trained researchers on the Oxford Nanopore GridION at the Interactive Research School for Health Affairs SIRSHAT,

BVDU, Pune n February 26a27, 2025. The session provided an inadepth look at GridIONps powerful realatime, longaread sequencing capabilities, demonstrating its potential for higha throughput analysis with unmatched accuracy and flexibility. Researchers explored its scalability, speed, and efficiency, gaining insights into how it can revolutionize genomics research.
