LSTEPHEN KAMIFUJI CREATIVE DIRECTOR’S NOTE

ast week, the Ebell Theater became the setting for a modern beauty legend: Anastasia Soare took the stage with Oprah, weaving her rags-to-riches narrative in her new book, Raising Brows. Midway through the evening, a photo of Anastasia at her first cosmetic counter popped up on the big screen. In the center of the photo is GENLUX ’s publisher and my better half, Cecilia Moreno. As Cecilia recounts, on her first day working for Anastasia, “I was sent to Anastasia’s garage to load the trunk of my then Toyota Corolla with the first order of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics, and bring them back to the salon to stock the shelves.”

I also got involved by designing Anastasia’s posters for the salon and her first website. Truthfully, none of us could have predicted that those first small steps on Bedford Drive would vault into a multi-billion-dollar beauty empire—one born of Anastasia’s tenacity and a touch of destiny.

On our Cover

This issue’s cover muse, Yolanthe Cabau, personifies the GENLUX ethos: to honor and celebrate the fashionable women who are also philanthropic. Her Free a Girl foundation has shattered the chains of trafficking for nearly 9,000 children, a triumph captured in her moving Netflix series, Yolanthe. Master photographer Diego Uchitel teamed up with makeup artist Josephine Bouchereau, hairstylist Robert Steinken, both of the Celestine Agency, and nail artist Amber Studer to skillfully magnify her charisma, and beauty (p42) Steinken decodes the secret of Yolanthe’s lush mane (Get the Look! p100) . Uchitel’s lens also focused on actress and equestrian Emily Hall, transformed by Holly Harnwell’s deft makeup touch and, once again, Steinken’s hair wizardry (p34).

near and far. This season, our roster glows with artists from France, Argentina, Australia, Canada, and the heartland of America. Sequoia Emmanuelle—a Minneapolis native with serene intensity—photographed rising star Jordan Leftwich, who conjures magic on Disney Channel’s soon to be released Coven Academy . Jordan’s shoot through Beverly Hills, styled by the genius of Lisa Smith Craig, blended luxury fashion, into an alchemy of youth and sophistication (p24).

First-time GENLUX photog Laretta Houston’s shoot featured the Louis Vuitton FW2025 collection, on French model Charlotte Coquelin (Industry LA, Bellagio Road, p50 ) and Ellie Lyon from Toledo, Ohio, a cool-girl paragon (Shifting Gears, p64). Tracey Sutter added her nail artistry, and we shot against the backdrop of Mark B. Barron’s beautiful Bel-Air estate. GENLUX ’s annual descent into wintry wonder means recreating the snowy Hollywood-type sets I used on the Lindsey Vonn and La Senza lingerie shoots past. This go-round, Tracey Morris captured model Madison Tabeek (Photogenics LA) swathed in Moncler, Libertine, Toteme, Alaia, and Louis Vuitton. We gave Steinken a breather and brought on Tiffany Daugherty to command the tresses (p72).

At one point during Anastasia’s evening with Oprah, the mic went to the crowd: “What fear is holding you back from your dreams?” A woman stood up, admitting she worried she was too old to go after what she wanted. Oprah turned to her, and Anastasia nodded in agreement—they didn’t miss a beat. “It’s never too late,” they assured her. “But you have to start— RIGHT NOW ! Don’t let age, or anything else, be the reason you give up.” The message rang out, honest and electric: begin, persist, and let nothing hold you back.

Curating GENLUX means orchestrating talent and vision from

ashionable guests descended on The Leica Gallery in West Hollywood to celebrate a landmark achievement— GENLUX ’s 20 years in publishing. The evening was hosted by Mark B. Barron, and LogoMotion.ai —the new AI app created by GENLUX creative director, Stephen Kamifuji. The evening also raised a glass to the new Fall issue featuring popstar Sophie Powers, whose viral American Idol song, STFU , caught the attention of GENLUX and earned her the cover. Publisher Cecilia Moreno welcomed and gave special thanks to the artists and guests who enjoyed wine from Wiens Cellars, Temecula, and from Aperture, Sonoma. All took home gift bags filled with a generous supply of Giovanni haircare and Shiseido cosmetics. Special thanks to Andrew Matusik, and Leica’s Paris Chong and James Agnew.

MICHAEL KORS TURNS FASHION INTO A GLOBAL HARVEST

Michael Kors is planting style with purpose.

The designer’s newest release—a special-edition organic cotton T-shirt—joins the fight against global hunger through the brand’s long-running Watch Hunger Stop campaign.

This year’s spotlight falls on Sri Lanka, where the World Food Programme’s Home-Grown School Feeding initiative empowers local farmers, especially women, to nourish their communities. Photographer Maxime Poiblanc captures the vibrant fruits and vegetables these farmers produce, transforming them into wearable art on two limited-edition tees priced at $40 and available at select stores and at michaelkors.com

Every cent of profit goes directly to the WFP program, feeding children nutritious meals, providing farmers steady income, and cultivating stronger, more sustainable local food systems. Fashion meets philanthropy—and everyone grows together.

WHEN NOT MUSING ON LIFE FROM THE SADDLE, THIS STATUESQUE ACTRESS IS GRACEFULLY STEERING THROUGH HOLLYWOOD. HERE, SHE SHARES HER SUPERPOWER, HER MOST CRINGEY MOMENT AND THAT TIME THE JR. HIGH PRINCIPAL CALLED HER IN… AWKWARD, SINCE HE WAS ALSO HER DAD.

ONE TO WATCH

Actress Emily Hall’s ta oo under her le shoulder declares, “It’s all happening.” Indeed it is. The Washington-born multitasker carved out time for our GENLUX Two-Word Interview while she was out riding her chestnut horse, Buddy. You can catch Emily on Netflix this holiday season where she plays Alicia Silverstone’s daughter in the romcom, A Merry Li le Ex-Mas. —Stephen

I’m on my chestnut horse named Buddy on a very chill loop at the Burbank Equestrian Center. We’re surrounded by a lot of trees and the lovely LA River.

You’re wearing? A crew neck Wrangler jeans, cowboy boots, and a sweatshirt from my grandpa. It’s from this hotel called The Peabody, Memphis.

Everyday style? It teeters this line between soft, feminine, and a tomboy edge.

Your background? I’m from

Spokane, Washington. Both my parents were educators at the school I went to. I have a younger sister and an older brother. I pretty much grew up being on a horse—even before horse girls were trendy. We lived in the middle of nowhere on a big property with lots of acreage. So we had like three horses and chickens, so I was outdoors my whole childhood.

Childhood dreams? I was convinced for a period of time that I was gonna be the next Taylor Swift. Did not happen, and I let go of that dream.

Musical talent? I play the guitar, and I sing, and I’ve written a few songs, but it’s just more for me.

Music mix? I love to find new artists. I think Taylor’s album does not suck; I know a lot of people do. I always go back to Johnny Cash, or Brandi Carlile.

Cringing moment? My dad was also my middle school principal. That was an experience unto itself. There were times with my dad being my principal ... that were like really unfortunate. I remember this guy in choir was trying to give me a hug, and I

didn’t want one, but he wouldn’t stop trying, so then I kicked him in the balls. And that conversation with my dad in the principal’s office was pretty awkward. I got in big trouble for it.

Silly side? I definitely have a very fun and silly side. I can kind of mirror what people are doing at me back at them. I’ve been told sometimes it’s, like, weird, but that’s okay.

Your heroes? My grandma, who was a veterinarian. She had horses and dogs, and was so loved in her community.

Your superpower? Being a giver. I think it has helped me with people in my life that I love, like friends and family.

Binge-watching? So many of them! Nobody Wants This season 2, and I’m obsessed. I feel like I watched that all in a day. I just finished Monster, The Ed Gein Story, too.

Favorite cause? I’m a big animal lover. I do a lot with dog rescues. I’ll walk dogs at the AGWC Rockin’ Rescue.

Any pets? I have a Belgian Malinois mix named Kodak, and a cute mutt that goes everywhere with me. I named him Johnny Cash because my dad listened to a lot of Johnny Cash.

Cringing moment? When I was in High School, I had to get a spray tan for a Nordstroms modeling job, and I had a basketball game that same day. So my mom rushed me to get the spray tan during lunch. It was my first time at a spray-tan place—and I don’t even think my mom knows this—but I had to pee so bad I couldn’t hold it while I was getting a spray tan. So, right before the game when our team was all in shorts, everyone was like, “Why are there streaks down your leg?” I was just so mortified, I was like, I can’t play—so I benched myself. That one sticks with me. I haven’t been to one of those spray-tan places since.

Favorite getaway? Our lake home up in Washington.

Your passion? Acting is where I found my greatest peace, but ultimately I’d love to have my own production company.

Current project? On November 12th, Merry Little X-Mas movie comes out on Netflix where I play Alicia Silverstone and Oliver Hudson’s daughter. Alicia is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and her work ethic is just next level. Clueless is iconic. I’ve been a big fan of her, so it was really cool to work with her.

Flower or Gardener? In my relationships, I think historically I’m more of a gardener.

Forgiveness list? I probably need to forgive myself. If I make—and there’s a ton of them—small

mistakes, like not treating people exactly as I should in the moment or overreacting emotionally or being thoughtless or careless. I have a really hard time letting go of those things. Matthew McConaughey writes about how if we keep reliving our past failures, we stay stuck in the past.

Favorite podcast? SmartLess

Nightstand material?

Intermezzo by Sally Rooney, who also wrote Normal People .

Holiday vibe? I love Christmas.

5-year goal? I hope I’m still acting. I’d like to have a quiet place outside of LA, and reach that place where even if things aren’t going well, I have joy. G

GENLUX COVER STAR

From bullied “Spanish girl” to beloved Dutch film and television star, Yolanthe Cabau has lived several lives before turning thirty. Born in Ibiza, raised between hardship and hope, she transformed pain into purpose—founding Free a Girl, rescuing thousands. Now, between film sets and motherhood, she shares how empathy became her lifelong superpower. —Stephen

Your childhood? I was born in Ibiza to a Spanish father and a Dutch mother. When I was five years old, my mom, along with my seven siblings, fled from my dad to Holland because of his addiction to cocaine and alcohol. We had to learn the language and adapt to a new culture.

Childhood bullying? When we moved to Holland, we didn’t speak Dutch, and we went to a Catholic school. In Holland, the families were almost perfect. Like a son, a daughter, parents together—and then there was our family. No father, eight children, no money, so the other kids had questions, and you know how children can be really harsh on each other. They said really mean stuff to us, and it became so awful that we had to move schools five times because of the bullying.

Worst bullying? When I was 9, a mom came into the class with her child who had lice. She said, “Oh my God, it must be this Spanish girl.” And she took me in front of all the children, and she started searching for lice in front of everybody, and they started laughing at me. I tried not to cry, and then I ran out of the school crying. I went home, and my mom got so angry that she went to the school to complain, but it made it worse that she stood up for me. The next day, they were like, “Oh, go cry to your mom.” The lice turned out to be from some twin children in my class, not me, the Spanish girl.

Band together? We did, but we were all terrified, and we also

believed these other kids that we were the dirty Spanish kids. We didn’t have money, and we thought we didn’t deserve respect or dignity because we were the weird family. So we didn’t say anything back, you know? We just looked at each other like, yeah, we just have to deal with it. Now, looking back, I’m like, oh, my God, I don’t want any child going through that.

Cinderella story? In my last year before high school, I matured and started getting shapely because I’m also Spanish, you know? I have curves and breasts, which I didn’t like at the time because no one in my class had them. But the boys started taking an interest in me, which made the girls want to copy my clothes. And I was like, Oh, now people are starting to like me. I also started standing up for myself, so when my little sister entered the same school, I protected her.

Television start? When I was 14, I did a school TV show, and when I was 16, I started in a daily soap opera, like Holland’s version of The Bold and the Beautiful for four years, and then I started doing movies.

Public scrutiny? From the age of 16, I grew up being on TV. So people saw me go through every situation and special time in my life. From boyfriend, to husband, to divorce, to having a child. Everything has always been out in the open. When I was 17, I was named the most beautiful girl in Holland. I was so young, I didn’t even realize, like, what does that mean?

Everyday style? I love to wear comfy sportswear, but with good

sunglasses, a good bag, and nice sneakers. Or jeans with a white tank top, or black tank top. You know, it depends on where I am, what I’m doing, and where I’m going.

Favorite designer? I love Dolce & Gabbana. I love the lace and the Italian vibe that it has, and it’s so beautiful.

Binge watching? I just don’t have time, but I was watching Love Is Blind. I love everything that has to do with love. When you see people falling in love... it just makes me happy.

Love life? No. I wish.

Your superpower? Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been able to tune into how others feel. So when my family has problems with each other, I can glue them back together because I see both sides and can help them see things from the other person’s perspective.

Flower or gardener? A gardener. Taking care of others is something my mom did alone for eight children, so it’s very natural to me. It’s actually harder for me to let somebody else do it because I never had that example. I’ve also never had a man who would like to wash the dishes or do something like that for me.

Best trait? [In the room with Yolanthe are her closest friends, Jennifer Cooke and Huzur Yilmaz—both featured in her Netflix show]. “She’s the most loyal, honest, and caring person we know,” they say.

Your hero? My mom, because I saw her struggle and go through

a lot. She always stayed positive and loving. We didn’t have money, but she had a way of making something out of nothing. When other children went to amusement parks on weekends or for birthdays, we knew we couldn’t afford it, so we didn’t ask. We didn’t have a car and all slept in one bedroom. She would wake us up in the middle of the night, and say, “Put these black clothes on. We’re gonna go on an adventure.” She’d borrow my grandfather’s car and drive us to a big villa that was under construction. We’d light candles and walk the stairways, and she would whisper, “Shh! Oh, no, did you hear that? This is a spooky house!” So we never felt at school like they had something we didn’t, because my mom would always fill in the gap in her creative way.

Childhood dream? I remember thinking, when I’m big and I’m strong-... I’m gonna give my children everything.

Your son? The most important thing I’ve learned is the safety you can give a child. I want Xess Xava to feel safe—that’s the most precious gift I can give him. And, of course, love and caring. I want him to be grateful for what I’m able to give him, so I always tell him, “Listen, I’m so happy I can give you this because I didn’t have this growing up.” I take him on trips with me. He went with me to India, to Nepal, to Thailand. I take him to the safety houses where the girls we rescue live. He plays with them, he makes drawings, and brings gifts. He knows that he’s very lucky and blessed, and that’s really important to me. ➢

Your charity? I started Free a Girl, 17 years ago in Holland. Since I was little, my dream has been to help children because I had a challenging childhood. When I learned about global child sex trafficking and saw firsthand what was going on, I decided I wanted to fight for these children. So I called people to build a team. I started a TV show where I just showed all the images and videos that I made, and then people started donating, and we grew. We’ve rescued almost 9,000 children and given them a home. It’s not only rescuing a child; it’s a whole process: raising them, finding their parents, and bringing them back. But if that’s not possible, which often happens, we take care of them. And we have to give them schooling, operations, medication, mental health checkups, clothing, food, and love.

Active countries? We’re helping children in Thailand, India, Nepal, Brazil, Laos, China, Cambodia, and the Dominican Republic — and now expanding into countries across the African

continent and South America. We have an office in the US and the Netherlands. We also have many partners worldwide, our own rescue teams, and safety houses. So we have a whole structure. It’s my life’s mission. I will do it until I die.

Free-A-Girl details?

We are a female-led organization that rescues children from sexual exploitation. Rescues of children take place in dance bars, massage parlors, brothels, and private apartments through specialized undercover investigation teams, working closely with local authorities to identify victims and ensure their safe recovery. Through our School for Justice program in four countries, survivors are supported to become lawyers, journalists, and social workers who fight against the system that once failed them. You can visit freeagirl.us or @freeagirlglobal on Instagram to see how everyone can help. Every dollar, even if it’s one, helps. The more awareness we create, the more action we can take to help our children. G

XERF ʼS UP!

The XERF (pronounced surf) is the best gift I have given myself this holiday season.

Anytime we throw on a fabulous liʼ l frock and are ready to feel oh-so-good about ourselves.... but... then, we look in the mirror and see a little hollow under your eyes... or a liʼ l excess skin in places it shouldn't be... well that can ruin that fabulous frock in the snap of your bright-red-stiletto-nailed fingers!

In sails Dr. Hakim...with whom I feel I am being punked! The dermatologist looks 25, but claims to had her practice for 10 years. After seeing Dr. Hakim’s results on herself, I ask how quickly we can do a full face and neck treatment. On the spot she whips out that magical little device. No obnoxious numbing cream, No pain, and No downtime!! What is this? Magic? YES!! After one hour the new advanced non-invasive skin tightening treatment stimulates collagen, firms loose skin, and restores a more youthful appearance. My hollows are almost gone... and that lax skin... where the heck is it? The price is a little frightening... but hey who ever said the best things in life are free? Liar, liar pants on fire!! At this moment there are only a few XERFs in LA, so Dr. Hakim leads the charge. I am so impressed, I cannot wait for my next one in 29 days!!! Dr. Jacquiline Habasky Haskim, Beverly Hills, 310-979-9785, @beverlyhillsderm, price upon request. P.S... I paid full price and I am still beyond thrilled!!!

OH, LET ME COUNT THE DAYS!

Throw in a little luxury and now you really have my attention. Dior has captured my heart and Christmas spirit this year. The Luxury Beauty Advent Calendar is filled with all things luxury and all things DIOR. I was going to post a list of what came in this oh so beautiful calendar... but then where is the surprise when you open that little door? $750, dior.com

LOUIS VUITTON X MURAKAMI EPIC NEW COLLABORATION.

ouis Vuitton proves once again why it reigns as the ultimate arbiter of luxury and art. At Art Basel Paris 2025, the Maison unveiled the Artycapucines VII – Louis Vuitton X Takashi Murakami collection, a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural fusion.

Nearly two decades after their first groundbreaking collaboration, Louis Vuitton and Murakami updated the rules of artistic synergy, blending the Japanese artist’s kaleidoscopic imagination with the House’s unparalleled savoir-faire.

The centerpiece of this year’s Art Basel Paris is a jaw-dropping eight-meter-high octopus sculpture, a luminous marvel inspired by Chinese lanterns. Perched on the majestic Balcon d’Honneur at the Grand Palais, this tentacled sculpture is a portal into Murakami’s whimsical world. Its luminescent head, adorned with the artist’s iconic Superflat Jellyfish Eyes motif, evokes a playful yet haunting sense of voyeurism, transforming universal fears into joyful, almost childlike wonder. Beneath its sprawling tentacles lies a vibrant tapestry of Murakami’s signature motifs, from Mr. DOB to the Superflat ➢

MAKING FACES TOKYO-BORN-ARTIST TAKASHI MURAKAMI, THE MASTERMIND BEHIND THIS EXTRAORDINARY LV COLLABORATION, HAS REDEFINED CONTEMPORARY ART BY BLENDING TRADITIONAL JAPANESE PAINTING WITH THE VIBRANT WORLDS OF ANIME, SCIENCE FICTION, AND POP CULTURE. HIS ‘SUPERFLAT’ ART DESIGN EXECUTION—CHARACTERIZED BY RECURRING MOTIFS OF SMILING FLOWERS, MUSHROOMS, AND EYES—HAS BECOME SYNONYMOUS WITH THE KAWAII (MEANING CUTE OR ADORABLE IN JAPANESE) AESTHETIC. MURAKAMI’S WORK HAS GRACED THE HALLS OF THE WORLD’S MOST PRESTIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS, FROM THE MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART IN LOS ANGELES TO THE GUGGENHEIM IN BILBAO.

Panda, creating an immersive experience that feels like stepping into a living, breathing dream.

The installation is a feast for the senses, with carpeting that mirrors the octopus’s eight-armed patterns and exclusive scenography sketches guiding visitors into Murakami’s fantastical realm. At the heart of this artistic wonderland are 11 creations from the Artycapucines VII collection, each an example of Louis Vuitton’s technical brilliance and Murakami’s boundless creativity.

Highlights include the Capubloom and Capucines East West Rainbow bags, displayed alongside the Multicolor Plush Ball (2008), a spherical sculpture that kaleidoscopically showcases Murakami’s beloved Smiling Flowers motif. The Cherry Blossom Plush Ball (2025), a new creation inspired by Japan’s iconic sakura flowers, adds a poetic touch to the collection, while the Plum Plush Ball (2025) offers a varied glimpse into Murakami’s genius.

But the magic doesn’t stop there. The Capucines Mini Tentacle and Capucines MM Eye bags channel the octopus’s features, while the Capucines Mini Mushroom bag takes us on a psychedelic journey through a forest of 100 meticulously hand-embroidered, 3D-printed mushroom characters. Each piece, like the Panda Clutch—studded with strass and inspired by Murakami’s beloved panda character—is a miniature universe, showcasing LV’s ability to transform leather into art.

The collection exemplifies the longstanding bridge between Louis Vuitton and contemporary art, and the House’s commitment to artistic innovation that dates back to the early 20th century, when Gaston-Louis Vuitton collaborated with artists to create window displays and advertisements. Since 1988, Louis Vuitton has continued this legacy, partnering with luminaries like Yayoi Kusama, Richard Prince, and Sol LeWitt.

The Artycapucines VII collection continues the Murakami partnership that began in 2003, when the magnanimous artist reimagined Louis Vuitton’s Monogram canvas with 33 colors and his signature motifs. Following the presentation of Murakami’s monumental sculpture The Flower and the Child in Paris’s Jardin d’Acclimatation in 2024, the Art Basel Paris exhibition is a triumphant celebration of their shared vision.

Post-show, Murakami’s fanciful, artful, and allusive handbag collection is for the discerning who appreciates the deeper currents beneath the spectacle. G

The Blossoming Glow

Your SPF Wardrobe

A Gift of Beautiful Skin

The season of light invites us to give with intention — to wrap care, elegance, and self-devotion in a bow. Beautiful skin is more than a look; it’s a feeling, a ritual, and a reflection of love for oneself and for those we cherish.

Spring brings the spirit of renewal. The skin and its renewal process brings a fresh glow to the surface. When working with our skin and the right products, you can reveal your best skin yet. I’m sharing - Ninka Baprawska, aesthetician advisor at GENLUX Beauty

Summer has arrived in full splendor, inviting us outdoors. As you style your wardrobe to meet the season, your skin deserves its own curated ensemble. Sunscreen is more than a necessity—it’s your skin’s essential summer layer, your protection. Each formula is like couture for your complexion: thoughtfully chosen, carefully applied, and beautifully worn. In this issue, I’ve styled an SPF wardrobe of must-have pieces—lightweight, luxurious, and designed to shield your skin from head to toe. True summer beauty begins with protecting your skin. – Ninka B., GENLUX Beauty Contributor & Aesthetician

1. BRING BACK THE MOISTURE

Think of a humidifier as your silent beauty ally. When indoor heat dries the air, it robs skin of precious hydra tion. A well-placed humidi fier restores balance, helping your complexion stay supple and dewy all winter long. Ninka B. recommends: Dyson Purifier Humidify+ Cool PH03, $849, dyson.com

2.THE DAILY SHIELD: ANTIOXIDANT SERUM

Think of this as your skin’s summer scarf—light, breathable, and always ready to reapply. For elegant, effortless protection on the go, I reach for Eminence Organic Skin Care Sun Defense Minerals SPF 30. This all-mineral, antioxidant-rich formula glides on with a soft sweep of the brush. It protects against UVA/UVB rays, pollution, and blue light—all while feeling nearly invisible. A staple for every tote, glove box, and vanity tray—always within reach. Your skin will thank you. skin cells to the surface. My favorite acids are Glycolic and Salicylic. Glycolic Acid works on the surface to brighten, and Salicylic Acid works within the pore, clearing and preventing acne and congestion such as blackheads. This acid duo also works anti-aging, making the surface of your skin smooth and ready for serums! Ninka B. recommends: ZO Skin Health by Zein Obagi Renewal Pads, zoskinhealth.com

GLOW WITH GRACE: THE TINTED BASE

Free radicals don’t take holidays — and neither should your antioxidants. Vitamin C fortifies the skin’s defense barrier, brightens tone, and keeps collagen strong through the season’s stressors.

Think of this as your skin’s silk blouse. My go-to is ZO Skin Health Smart Tone Broad Spectrum SPF 50. This adaptive formula melts into most skin tones, softening and brightening while delivering full-spectrum protec-

3. AT HOME PEEL!

If your skin feels dry or tight, its barrier likely needs support. Ceramide-rich creams restore essential lipids and calm irritation, keeping your complexion smooth, resilient, and comforted.

LOVE YOUR LIPS: THE SPF ACCESSORY

Treating your skin to a safe and effective at-home peel will keep your skin in tip-top shape. You can do this between your regular facial appointments to ensure your skin keeps the afterglow. The iS Clinical Active Peel System consists of 2 Steps. The 1st step gently and effectively exfoliate with a blend of acids. The 2nd step will neutralize and, at the same time, provide nourishment to your skin. One of my favorite ingredients in the 2nd step is the Copper Tripeptide-1. Copper peptides are a brilliant invention of cosmetic chemists and incredible for the skin! Ninka B. recommends: iS Clinical Active Peel System, $96 dermstore.com

Don’t neglect the skin below the neckline. A body lotion infused with alpha-hydroxy acids gently exfoliates and retexturizes, revealing silky softness and luminosity. Ninka B. recommends: Necessaire The Body Peel, $62, necessaire.com

Treatment SPF 25 —a creamy veil of hydration with sun care. It softens, smooths, and shields, leaving a healthy, dewy glow. A quiet luxury in every purse or pocket. Ninka B. recommends: Clé de Peau Protective Lip Treatment SPF 25 $65, cledepeaubeaute.com

After your shower, massage a hydrating body oil onto damp skin. It seals in moisture, enhances circulation, and transforms your nighttime routine into a sensorial act of care.

SPFALWAYS IN SEASON

THE ART OF

Certain skincare ingredients work like magic! It’s all about the quality of ingredients. I have always been a fan of peptides. There are many di erent types of peptides, each with a specific function. The Le Mieux Collagen Peptide Serum contains Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2, which stimulates elastin production essential for skin firmness. Another highlight of this particular peptide is brightening the skin by inhibiting the production of uneven pigment. Renew and rejuvenate your skin with wonderful serum! Ninka B. recommends: Le Mieux Collagen Peptide Serum, $95, lemieuxskincare.com

SUMMER RADIANCE

Even on cloudy winter days, UV rays can accelerate aging. A daily sunscreen with hydration and a radiant finish keeps your skin protected and glowing year-round.

Ninka recommends: ZO Skin Health

True summer beauty isn’t about chasing the sun—it’s about honoring your skin. When you protect it daily, nourish it gently, and dress it with care, it glows from within. This season, may your SPF wardrobe be as intentional and beautifully curated as you are.

This holiday season, the most thoughtful gifts are those that restore health, confidence, and glow. Let your beauty ritual be an act of kindness to yourself and a reflection of care to those around you. Ninka B. @ninkaglam
