SERVICES GRADUATE EXTENDED ONBOARDING PROGRAMME 2023/24
Gen Healthy Minds was established in 2018 and over the past four years has worked with Early Careers teams across a wide range of sectors and countries to deliver our bespoke programmes. Everything we do is designed to help you thrive and perform at your best in work and life.
Our offering is unique as we tailor our programmes around developing wellbeing and performance of Apprentices and Graduates during their journey into Early Careers.
We are delighted to be supporting your HPE Services Graduate Extended Onboarding Programme throughout 2023/24.
We will be running a series of online Boost Masterclasses. This mix of sessions will support your wider development.
Our goal is to support you to stay healthy, happy and be able to perform to a high level both in and outside of the workplace. The performance and wellbeing tools and techniques that we will teach you will equip you to take on challenges ahead of you, both during your programme and beyond.
We will be providing you with content and development that we feel is most relevant at each stage of your Early Careers journey.
Alex is a leading expert in Digital Wellbeing having conducted Academic research at Aberdeen University with a research focus on the impact that digital technology is having on wellbeing. She has used her expertise to create Live More Offline and a series of programmes to help people create a healthy relationship with digital technology in the workplace
Sam Bishop is one of the Uk’s leading performance psychologists. Sam works with elite sports men and women as well as top businessmen and women to help them achieve peak performance in their roles.
Mike has worked for nearly two decades in early careers at Barclays and more latterly through his Gen Healthy Minds business working with businesses to deliver wellbeing and performance programmes that support business growth.
George is an international wellbeing speaker, coach and author who has worked with individuals and corporates for over 20 years. He has designed and delivered wellbeing courses, bootcamps and written books on the topic
Below is an overview of your Boost Programme designed to support you to flourish and perform at your best. As you can see, the programme will run a series of online Boost Masterclasses, more details of times of each session will be later in this brochure. Each Masterclass will be presented by wellbeing and performance experts George Anderson, Sam Bishop and Dean Coulson and Alex La Via.
July 2023
Our “Boost Your Mental Wellbeing” masterclass will help participants boost their mental wellbeing everyday to perform at their best.
• Learn about positive psychology and techniques on how to boost wellbeing everyday
• Gain practical skills and tools to boost wellbeing including practicing gratitude, check ins and mindfulness
• Explore the ‘happiness advantage’ and how we can all be happier everyday

Our “Boost Your Physical Wellbeing” masterclass looks at how we can boost our physical and mental energy to perform at our best
• Gain practical skills to improve diet, activity levels, sleep and hydration
• Understand the links between physical and mental health
• Learn practical movement and stretching routines to build into your working day
Our “Boost your Performance making stress your friend” will help participants make stress your friend and boost their performance.
• Explore the ‘performance curve’ and why stress is important to achieve peak performance
• Be able to recognize signs of stress and why they are manifesting themselves
• Learn tools and techniques for managing stress each day
Our “Boost your resilience” masterclass will help participants to boost their resilience and take on the challenges your work throws at you.
• Understand what is meant by resilience and why it is important
• Explore the four levers of resilience and what they mean for you
• Look at how to develop a growth mindset and be more optimistic
Our “Boost your personal Digital wellbeing” will help participants find balance, switch off from ‘always on’ patterns and reduce digital burnout
• Gain practical tips to reduce ‘always on’ pattern
• Create a personal plan to improve digital balance at work
• We look at how high performers manage their thoughts and emotions to perform more successfully
Our “Boost your Digital productivity” masterclass will help participants reclaim time in their day and work more effectively
• Uncover how digital distraction impacts your focus, creativity and strategic though
• Gain practical advice on reducing digital distractions and video exhaustion

Our “Boost your personal effectiveness” will help participants plan and deliver against their goals in smart ways.
• How to set effective goals, manage high levels of workload and plan their day for success
• We look at how high performers manage their thoughts and emotions to perform more successfully
• We share top tips and tools to track and manage performance
February 2024
Our “Boost your performance – you are not a robot” masterclass will introduce participants to performance psychology and how it can be used in their daily lives.
• We will share interesting case studies of top-class athletes and business leaders to bring concepts to life in an interesting and engaging way.
• Explore the “human performance curve”
• Look at how to effectively manage our thoughts and emotions
Our “Boost your Performance battle the imposter” masterclass will look at Imposter syndrome which can leave people feeling they will be exposed as a ‘fraud’, this can be a particular issue for people starting out in their early career.
•This Masterclass looks to help deal those with Early career anxieties by exploring what is confidence, how is it can be created, affected and applied.
•We will explore with delegates what events and triggers can knock confidence and strategies to deal with them so confidence can be maintained.
•Delegates will come away from this Masterclass being able to recognise when imposter syndrome is affecting their thoughts and how they can manage it.
Our “Boost your performance overcoming barriers” masterclass will help to understand how to cope when they are faced with barriers to performance such as low confidence, motivation or stress
• We will explore how to identify when you are facing a barrier and how to have this conversation
•We will share simple tools and techniques for overcoming the barriers that can be adopted by individuals or teams every day

Our “Boost your Emotional intelligence” will help to learn how to be more emotionally intelligent and why this is key to success at work.
• Understand what is emotional intelligence (EI) and why it is important
• Explore the 4 dimensions of EI
• Learn top tips for boosting EI everyday to perform at your best

Our “Boost your Strengths and personal brand”masterclass helps participants to stand out as well as fit in at work.
•Explore the concept of personal branding and why it is important to bring your whole self to work
•How to develop 5 elements of your personal brand and how this can help you have a positive impact on both the organisation and your career
•Practical tools and tips for creating your brand presence in your organisation
