Geneva Glen Packing List 2-Week Sessions
(American Heritage, Knighthood I, Knighthood II, World Friendship)
Required Items:
Water Bottle
Swimsuit
Towels - 2
Shorts / t-shirts for 2-weeks
Socks / Underwear for 2-weeks
Pajamas
Layers of warm clothing (pants, sweatshirts, etc.) for 2-weeks
Jacket
Rain jacket or poncho
Travel size toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, comb/hairbrush, lip balm, lotion, sunscreen, etc.)
Tennis Shoes for day-to-day activities
Sturdy shoes – for hiking and horseback riding
* For horseback riding, footwear must have a discernible heel to prevent the foot from sliding forward through the stirrups. Most hiking boots are acceptable. Flat shoes, such as street / skating shoes are not acceptable.
Sleeping bag for bunk and for overnights
A twin bed fitted sheet for mattress
Pillow
Laundry Bag
Backpack / Day pack or overnights and hikes
Optional Items:
Favorite teddy bear, blanket, lovey, etc.
Favorite book
Writing Supplies (include stamps)
Flashlight
Swim Goggles
One dressy outfit
Extra Blanket for the bunk
Foam Sleeping Pad for warmth on overnights
Goodie Bags for your camper to open during the session (no food please)
Expert Tips: Label Everything!
To help reduce lost & found mysteries please label all of your camper’s belongings! A thorough collection of unclaimed items does not occur until after the season ends in August.
Important Note to Parents for ALL SESSIONS
Our policies prohibit any prescription medication or any kind of over-the-counter medication that is not checked in with our camp medical staff. Other items not allowed include drugs, tobacco of any kind (i.e. nicotine, electronic cigarettes, vaping, etc.), alcohol, marijuana, fireworks, matches, lighters, personal safety gear (i.e. helmets, climbing gear, etc.), gum, vehicles (including boards, bikes, scooters), and weapons of any variety. Please contact camp if your camper wants to bring any personal sports equipment (i.e. archery bows, bats, baseball gloves, lacrosse sticks, etc.)
Things you Will NOT NEED at camp!
• Handheld electronics or any device that can connect to the internet using WiFi including devices that use an “airplane mode.” Examples include Smartphones, computers, iPads, Kindles, gaming devices, etc.
• Pets! The stuffed variety are always welcome!
• Cell Phones
