Welcome Life is good! Our family is fantastic and healthy. The cattle are exceptional. Ferguson Cattle Company is very proud and excited for you to view our offering this year. The strides we are making as a breeder is inspiring. The rock solid cow families of Gemstone, Sazerac 251D, Firefly, Sweet Emotion, Neon Rey and if you find a 54S scoop it up. All of these donors have stood the test of time and have excelled in herds across the country. We have always had an Angus influence in our herd but we have expanded it to offer some purebred genetics. The ET Program is as strong as ever and most of the offerings have perpetrated from it. We have again scoured the country and invested in top bulls including STCC Tecumseh, Remedy, Counter Time, Fort Knox, Coleman Glacier and Coleman Ace. The breds were AI’d predominantly to sexed semen which brought our percentage down somewhat. So we have decided to offer every first calf heifer that was confirmed AI bred. It’s a very deep set. There are about 6 to 8 top donor prospects that need serious consideration. The show prospects will take some serious heat and actually have already had some great success. They will go on to produce top herd prospects. The bulls are exceptional and ready to go to work. They exude style, power and performance and will enhance any herd’s bottom line. A special thanks to our hard working crew. Lindsey heads up the crew doling out daily duties and the hard task of record keeping in Cattle Max. Scott Lehman did another fine job managing cattle and breeding everyone all while having both hips replaced, WOW! Pat ran in circles fixing and repairing equipment and managing the hay fields and ground work. Garret Bosse was back working the show barn and showing. Andrew Lyle, a new member, worked the show barn, showed and was on the road hauling cattle to various locations. Gina Sheets is learning all facets of the cattle industry and is counted on daily. Eric Montgomery once again was a huge help this winter when things get tough! Ryan Rowland, Lindsey’s husband, is always there helping out wherever needed. Without a great team this could not be accomplished! Our family has been so blessed with good fortune and health. At the time I am writing this Lindsey is 8 months pregnant and has not missed a day. She has a strong back and work ethic. We eagerly await a son and grandson. Ryan plays a major role in the success of the other family businesses. John Paul is having a hugely successful career in the construction business. Holly has been blessed with the patience of a saint with her career and being a wonderful mother to Noli. Noli, while being the sweetest little girl ever, just made her debut on the cover of a children’s magazine. I want to thank all the customers past, present and future. We love to hear your success’s with Ferguson Cattle Company genetics and will always help with any question you may have. We thank you for the consideration and if we can answer any questions please call! God Bless America, John J Ferguson John Ferguson, Owner. 440-478-0782 Lindsey Rowland, Manager. 440-478-0503 Scott Lehman, Herdsman. 330-621-1510 Jefferson, Ohio • Ferguson Show Cattle

Unsexed pregnancy due 12/7/22

If you know our program then I don’t have to tell you about Gemstone, if you don’t then follow along. Embryo sales from $1,200 to $2,000 each. An Executive Order calf sold for $15,000 to Tennessee and was a many-time class and division winner. WRS Fine and Dandy was named Champion Percentage at the TJSSA State Futurity Show. HS Finders Keepers was the 2019 Reserve Supreme FFA Breeding Heifer at the Minnesota State Fair. A Relentless daughter won the Minnesota Beef Expo. The list goes on with division winners at the Nebraska, Ohio, and Minnesota State Fairs. Last year in our sale lot 1 sold for $15,000 for half interest and lot 1A sold for $7,500. Dwyer and Cox purchased a trio of embryos by Fort Knox that produced three calves. The two reds sold for $20,000 plus in last year’s The Next Generation Foundation Female Sale. The third sells as a bred this year. So we haven’t sold a pregnancy by Gemstone yet, but we think that these two options will ring the bell. We recently had a bull calf by Remedy and he is special. A red baldy by Bet On Red. Either way, better buy a safe to hide your money. 5th Annual Rare Vintage Sale | 11

We owe a lot to FSC Ericas Lutton 54S, she has elevated our genetics and many other breeders’, producing National Champions and high dollar cattle for all that have bought in. Well here is your chance because there are only a handful of embryos left. This Primo has developed into quite a cow prospect. This is a chance for your own 54S. W/C Fort Knox 609F Daughters

Lot 26: Out of a TNGL Grand Fortune x WHF/PRS/HPF Alley daughter. We have always liked the Alley genetics, they perform and have that “look.” We sold an Alley bred for $18,000 in Oklahoma. H048 was shown as a calf and has the look. We went a little old school and bred her to our herd sire W/C Catchin a Dream.

Lot 26 Lot 27: Time-tested genetics starting with Ellie and Saugahatchee on the bottom side. Then overall triple-bred Miss Werning KP 8543U. A moderate, sappybellied and beautiful-fronted female. Her heifer calf will make some noise.

Committed to the registered cattle industry Once again we look forward to welcoming each of you to the 5th Annual Rare Vintage Production Sale at Ferguson Cattle Company. It will sound like a cliche but I can assure you that the set of cattle being offered is bar none - hands down the deepest and most potent set Ferguson Cattle has ever offered up for public auction. Ferguson Cattle Company has been committed to the registered cattle industry for over two decades and have earned a rock solid reputation over the years for producing high end cattle, providing outstanding customer service, and operating a family friendly environment for visitors to attend the sale festivities and shows. One of the visions at Ferguson Cattle that has kept them on the cutting edge for decades is their diligence in selecting only the top cow families in their respective breeds and then utilizing ET technologies to maximize their cow herd. The donor cows and sires represented in this sale book and herd are simply impeccable with notable donors including names like HPF Sazerac 251D, TNGL A Gemstone, Sweet Emotion, Sandeen Donna 8386, Ericas Lutton, Ruby AJE Firefly, Hope Floats, and many more proven donors. The sires utilized are also at the top of the breed with no corners being cut in the pursuit of producing high end seedstock. As you look through this book and digest this sale offering be sure to note that this is as a deep a set of cattle and genetics as you might find this fall with multiple future donors being offered. The cattle are diverse in their type and kind and offer multiple options for future revenue generation. The cattle are all good dispositioned and easy to handle with all of the open heifers being halter broke and broke to lead. Another exciting option is the open heifers who have already been successfully campaigned, these females are all ready to go right to the show barn and be worked. The bull division is another highlight with all of these bulls already having been semen checked and ready for turnout. You’ll be hard pressed to find service ready sires this time of year of this quality. If you have any questions regarding this year’s offering feel free to give John, Lindsey, or any member of the sale staff a call to discuss the cattle and genetics. Videos of the entire offering will be online at Dwyer Cattle, Live Auctions and SC Online Sales. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to seeing each of you in Jefferson, OH.
