Know that our costumers’ programs are always at the very tip of our minds. We ask our cattle to pull off the near impossible every year, and we do it out of respect for the time that it is taking you to read this now. Your program deserves our absolute focus. You have it. The animals on offer today and the females that made them are totally unique in their genesis and their production.

No female on our ranch has had a bite of mixed feed, not ever. No mother on our ranch has had a bite of cake. Our entire ration consists of grazing and then long stem hay fed off of a pickup. That’s it. Every single animal on offer today was born OUTSIDE in terrible northern Nebraska conditions. There is no creep anywhere on our ranch, and our cows and babies graze in actual bogs on nearly poisonous grass. Every cow is expected to take what little is given her and turn it into a useful calf and pregnancy every year. No excuses. We have the ability and resources to provide better circumstances for our cows. It is out of respect for YOU that we stay the course. The result is cattle that are almost certainly headed into an easier living when they leave here. Let that marinate for a moment.

We truly are working to be the tip of the spear for our customers. If there is a hole in our program, it will show up here first and get eliminated. Nothing gets glossed over. This all sounds obvious. It’s the opposite. It is transformative. Our ultimate compliment is your success. OPEN HOUSE WEEKEND

Everyone is welcomed to tour the bulls at the home valley ranch bull run during our open house weekend Saturday April, 2 sunrise to sunset and Sunday April, 3 11:00 a.m. to sunset. This will be a very casual opportunity to spend time with the animals and our crew.

No appointment necessary. Though everyone is encouraged to see the bulls, IT IS NOT REQUIRED that you attend the open house to participate in the sealed bid or private treaty.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Except for those stated in the terms and conditions below, there are no warranties, either expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose with respect to the cattle being sold at this auction.

The warranties and guarantees set forth in the “Terms and Conditions” are in lieu of all other warranties, either expressed or implied, and the remedies provided therin shall be the sole and exclusive remedy for the Buyer, or any party claiming through Buyer, for any breach of warranty or guarantee therin provided, and all other obligations or liabilities. All cattle in this sale are offered according to the laws of the State of Nebraska.

1. BIDDING The Clerk in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.

2. TERMS terms of sale are cash.

3. PURCHASER’S RISK Each animal becomes the risk of the Buyer as soon as sold.

4. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY A transferred certificate of registry is available for each animal upon request.

5. HEALTH All animals are eligible for interstate shipment, except for otherwise announced. Interstate health papers will be furnished for each animal in accordance with prevailing State/Federal Regulations.

6. BREEDING GUARANTEE All animals that sell for $3,000 or more will receive a full first season breeding guarantee. If an animal is determined to be a non-breeder during his first season of service, then a credit to future sales will be awarded to the said bull’s owner in the amount of purchase less salvage. All claims must be made by September 20, 2021.

7. GENETIC DEFECT AND PARENTAGE GUARANTEE a. The parentage of all animals sold by the Seller is guaranteed to the extent that the animal is by the sire and out of the dam that is indicated on its registration papers. b. All test results confirming an animal’s genetic defect status must be disclosed to potential buyers prior to that animal’s sale.

8. RETAINED OWNERSHIP Dvorak Brothers Ranches, Inc. (sellers) will be retaining a semen interest in several animals in this offering. The sellers reserve the right to collect semen from any bulls in which an interest is retained at sellers’ expense and buyers convenience. The Sellers are also retaining possession rights to animal. The sellers and buyers will negotiate the terms of possession.

9. ANNOUNCEMENTS Announcements made shall take precedence over the sale catalog and/or any additional printed information regarding animal(s) sold.

Delivery is provided for bulls traveling less than 300 miles. Arrangements will be made for bulls traveling over 300 miles at the least possible expense to the buyer. Bulls may not have completed all veterinary work. These bulls will be kept free of charge until April 15th, or until work is complete, at no expense to the buyer. If a bull is found to be unsatisfactory during this time, the buyer will be immediately made aware and made whole with a 110% refund or satisfactory replacement bull.

2022 PRIVATE TREATY OFFERING As many of you know by now, due to a series of bazaar circumstances, we have decided that it is best for both the animals and the operators to offer this year’s pens of bulls through private treaty. We look for this process to be very fast, very straight forward, and very user friendly for each of you.

HOW IT WILL WORK

We welcome everyone to view the bulls at the home valley ranch during our OPEN HOUSE WEEKEND April 2 and 3. We will be available at your leisure to tour the bull pens, have a conversation, and share a coffee.

Every bull will be open for SEALED BID OFFERS until Monday April 4th at 11:00 a.m. central time.

NOTE: There will be no counter offers and no notice of winning or losing status for any participant until close at 11:00a.m. cst. No bids for amounts less than the written reserve with be registered. This is not an auction. Simply an opportunity for every person to have a chance at every bull. Any bull that receives a sealed

bid for an amount greater than the reserve WILL SELL to the highest sealed bid with no further negotiations or exposure to the market. It will be that straight forward.

At 11:00 a.m. cst, we will begin alerting any sealed bid winners of their success.

AT 1:00 P.M. CENTRAL TIME April 4th, any remaining bulls will be offered at the reserve price listed with each lot in the catalog. This is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. All requests must be PHONED INTO Tannon at 402340-6904 or Jenna at 402-340-5554. No calls will be taken prior to 1:00 P.M. CST flat. No texts, please. No voicemails, please. It is essential that we have clear communication. There will be no bidding in this process.
