This time of the year, we are usually concerned about how the weather has been treating us. When we will be able to get crops in the ground or last year, the massive flooding that took place. Agriculturists are always prepared and adapted to the situation that God has dealt us. In 2020, it just happens to be COVID-19. As you have seen throughout the last month, sales have been cancelled, postponed, or adapted due to this virus. With the governments restrictions pushed out until at least April 30th, we will continue with the Clear Choice Customer Sale in the same manor as the Clear Choice Bull Sale.

The consignors will have their cattle on display here at the ClearWater facility beginning on Thursday, April 23rd. You may come to the farm to look at them from Thursday until 11AM on Saturday morning. At that time, we will close the gate and only essential sale staff will be allowed on the property. We will conduct the sale only utilizing DVAuction and telephone bids. We encourage you to contact the consignors concerning the lots if you have any questions, reference the DP Sales Management website for any videos, and ensure that you are signed up on DVAuction.

Like we have all said, this isn’t an ideal situation, but we are committed to helping our customers sell their genetics and market them in the best possible way. For all of us, at the moment, we believe this is the best way to do that. Justify has had many admirers starting at a young age being selected Grand Champion bull at the 2018 Kentucky State Fair at 4 1/2 months old, later also being selected Reserve Late Calf Champion at the 2018 NAILE. He then went on to repeat at the 2019 Kentucky State Fair and later garnered praise from several admires at the NAILE winning his class in a highly competitive division. We have a great deal of confidence in this individual and have already utilized him in our breeding program with his first few calves already hitting the ground small, black, and unassisted from first calf heifers. He checks off all of the boxes, big and bold featured with a great hair coat, balanced and symmetrical look while not sacrificing any power or performance.
