Bull Development

The consignors are offering to take the bulls home and care for the bulls at no extra charge to the buyer until April 1st, 2022, at which time they will be semen checked and ready for use.

The consignors will assist in the delivery options and try to accommodate in anyway possible. If bulls are not picked up or delivered by April 1st, we will be charging $10 per head, per day for everyday left at the consignors. Insurance will be available sale day and is highly recommended. If you have any questions feel free to discuss with any of the sale staff or consignors.

New Traditions We are so excited to start a new tradition with the Decades of Devotion Sale at the Cow Palace in Anita, Iowa. As a group we look forward to meeting our past customers as well as to meet new customers over the next few weeks as sale day approaches. As I write this letter it’s a 60-degree day on Christmas Eve, it’s hard to believe the amount of feed that has been saved to this point this winter and I hope we can hold out on the white stuff until March. This fall has seen strong prices in all segments of the cattle industry and signs point to continued excitement in this industry for years to come.

The bull offering highlights our finest herd sires produced in the 2020 calf crop. These bulls have been culled hard and you won’t find any attitude issues or structural problems within this group of standout sires. As you study through the sale offering, I’m sure each of you will note the saturation of great cow families backing these bulls as well as a very useful set of EPD data points backing these bulls. From sleep all night calving ease bulls to serious cow changing type bulls we feel that we have a bull to suit the most discerning of cattlemen.

We know that a bull purchase is a serious investment for any program and thus we are offering to house all of these bulls and continue to develop them for you until April 1, 2022.

We look forward to doing this to ensure that these bulls are ready to go right to work in your operation. All bulls will pass a breeding soundness exam before being sent to their new owners. As a group we look forward to earning your bull buying needs for years to come.

The Open Heifer division is small in numbers, but some serious power females are represented in this division. These heifers are all halter broke and have the look and cow power behind them to make a serious impact in the pasture as well as on the tan bark.

The Bred offering is also highly saturated with proven donors backing many of these females. Many of these females are safe AI and a few will be paired up by sale day to save you the work of calving. You’ll love the look of these females, and you’ll love their dispositions even more, you won’t find a bad attitude in this offering.
