For updated EPDs, genetic status, plus the current ASA guidelines and conditions go to www.simmental.org. Announcements made sale day and from the auction block take precedence over printed material associated with this sale. Anyone attending this sale attends at his or her own risk. ClearWater Simmentals, DP Sales Management, LLC, or guest consignors will not be responsible for any personal injury while attending this sale.

HERD HEALTH

All bred cattle are vaccinated with Covexin 8, Vira Shield 6+VL5 HB, Autogenous Bacterin, Scour Guard 4KC , Multi Min and wormed with Dectomax pour on. All opens are vaccinated with Covexin 8, Pyramid 5+Presponse SQ, Multi Min. and wormed with Dectomax pour on and Synanthic Suspension. All cattle have been BVD tested and everything 3 years and older is Johnes tested annually. All calves along side cows have been given 1 dose of Nasalgen 3 PMH and Multi min.

She has the presence of a champion when she walks into the ring and walks out with a backdrop picture and a sparkling championship banner. She is perhaps the most well-known female from this famous mating, which is writing another big chapter in Simmental show-ring history. Here is your quick history lesson and a testament to the predictability of this cow family: the granddam, Peine/GS Rosie 677D, was a past Denver Champion and has a recorded 219 progeny to date. If you go down that list, the majority are past champions, high sellers, and animals that are still in production. The great-granddam, Black Rose 92H, is a full sister to Makin Honey, the 2004 NAILE Champion, and Honey Dew, the 2003 Reserve Champion at Denver. This is also the same family that produced In Dew Time, Duracell, and 20/20, all of which have been instrumental in the breed. As a breeder, follow those cow families that have proven themselves in the show ring, gone on to big-time production as donors, and produced leading industry sires. If you have been to Milan and sat in the seats, watched, bid, or even purchased online, we thank you again. Our success is because of you, our customers, and the confidence you have placed in our breeding programs. This group is amazing, and Leah and I certainly have our favorites. The 2025 sale was a great one, with cattle going to Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Utah, California, and West Virginia. We appreciate your interest and your purchases in the fall sale and our other two sales. The show-ring success of the juniors and their families has also been impressive, bringing home banners and now looking forward to putting those purchases into production. Most of these open heifers are sired by different bulls than last year’s offering, which we feel is a big testament to our breeding programs and the ability of this donor family to click with a variety of sires. Last year, we sold 10 open heifers out of Dakota D13 ranging from $5,750 to $16,500.
