Sale Format
PICK OF THE PEN / BID OFF SALE • 2016 Floor Prices - $3500, $4000 and $4500 (*Discounts, Leave and Feed and Free Delivery available)
• Each bull will be identified by lot number and penned in groups. Each pen will be offered for bidding starting at 1:00 PM, following a sale order, which will be distributed on sale day. • If more than one person is interested in a bull within the same pen, bidding will begin at the floor price between the interested parties in $100 increments, until there is a winning bidder. The buyer has the option to select one or multiple bulls at the selling price. If only one person is interested in a bull and there is no contest of bidding, it will be sold at the floor price. • At the conclusion of the sale, any buyer may purchase any unsold bull at the published floor price. • Private Treaty Bull Sale – On March 1, bulls not sold during the Bid Off Sale will be available for private treaty purchase at the published sale day floor price.
Advanced Beef Genetics offers free delivery to our bull customers, at your convenience, with delivery on or before April 1, 2016. If you choose to leave your bull on sale day, we suggest making delivery arrangements with the ABG team or pick up the bull by April 1, 2016. For customers needing delivery who live a considerable distance away, we only ask for your cooperation by meeting us or a responsible trucker at a mutually agreed upon location and time, and share some of the expense. After April 15th we will charge the bull owner, $3.00/head per day. Reminder – bulls are the property and the risk of the buyer after the sale and recommend you to insure your bulls. After the sale and before pick up or delivery we will do our best to care for your purchase, as you would on your farm. We will care for the bulls to prepare them for service and will perform a complete breeding soundness exam. The bulls’ diets will slowly change to a higher roughage mix. These bulls are yearlings and we believe this plan gives your young bull the best chance to succeed.

Announcements made sale day, before and during the Bid Off, take precedence over printed material referencing the sale and animals. People attending this sale do so at their own risk, legal or otherwise. Advanced Beef Genetics, the hosts and staff are not responsible for accidents, damages or property loss.
Every bull selling is guaranteed to be a breeder, provided the bull is managed properly and is maintained with acceptable nutrition and physical health. If a bull is deemed a non-breeder by a certified veterinarian, prior to or during the bull’s first breeding season the customer should immediately contact any Advanced Beef Genetics representative to report a claim. A veterinarian’s statement describing the problem may be requested and ABG reserves the right to have the bull returned. A replacement bull of mutually agreed upon quality will be provided by ABG if the bull in question is deemed a non-breeder. In the event a satisfactory replacement is not available, the customer will be given full credit (minus salvage value) to be used in a future ABG sale. Advanced Beef Genetics will not be held responsible under any circumstance for any settlement amount exceeding the purchase price of the bull.
