members new to NA. We have some changes in our format. We will be asking people who are smoking or vaping to please do so off camera. At the end we will be saying: who you’ve seen here, what you’ve heard here, when you leave here, let it stay here. There will be added a comment about gossip being detrimental and the wording has not been formulated. We have budgeted $30 for purchase and mailing key tags to members with clean time celebrations that are unable to receive them from their local in person meetings. We are looking into being able to provide literature as well. We have a concern expressed about being a part of the decisions that are being made at the World level and being able to carry our input to Region to pass on to World.

There will be some changes as of today. The intent of these changes is to follow BASC Policy: Financial Accountability sections B and C: B.There are four signers on the BASC checking account (Facilitator A, Facilitator B, RCM, and Secretary), two of which must sign each check. The two individuals signing checks may not be members of the same household. C. All BASC expenditures shall be paid by check unless extenuating circumstances exist When BASC went virtual, we made some (intent was temporary) exceptions to BASC policy. We have been using a paypal account to pay our bills for the past (approx) two years. I can no longer state, in good faith, that extenuating circumstances exist. Therefore, I am no longer willing to use paypal to pay our bills, and we will adhere to BASC policy by returning to writing checks.This means that reimbursements will likely be slow, since all checks need to be signed by two signers. It is my understanding of BASC policy that the intent of sections B & C is to provide accountability by separating the trusted servant that holds the checkbook, and the trusted servants that sign the checks. Using paypal to pay our bills does not provide that accountability. I realize this will be an adjustment, please be patient with the time it may take to receive any reimbursements. H&I Report March 13, 2022 Badgerland H&I remains available to our local hospitals and institutions as a source for recovery literature and information regarding NA. We are currently awaiting an update from the Dane County Jail and the Sauk County Jail on when meetings can resume. Oak Hill Correctional Institution has begun in person meetings and we are keeping them supplied with literature as needed. H&I also continues to assist with community outreach programs with both New Start Out Patient Services & most recently the homeless residence hotel on the East side of Madison run by the Focus and Eclipse organizations. If any GSR’s present would like information concerning volunteer services for either of these outreach programs please contact Ruth S. or Richard G. in the chat room for assistance in getting the word out. We have been very pleased with the number of volunteers who have stepped up to help carry the word in person. In loving service Ruth & Richard

Fellowship Development Report March 13, 2022 Miracles Happen is no longer a meeting. It has been taken off the website already. Please let your groups know about this change. Does anyone have information on Serenity, Courage and Wisdom? Whom can I contact that goes to that meeting? I had the honor to go to New Start this past Wednesday. It was amazing. I brought the message of NA to them. It was very uplifting for me to share the NA message They were really interested in it. I would ask everyone who sees someone newcomer come to your meeting that you make sure you Welcome them there and that they feel comfortable. I am going to start in May to work on updating the phone list. So, if you know anyone with at least 6 months clean time whom wants to be on the list to let me know. Policy and Procedures Report March 13, 2022 A financial audit was completed by myself, Facilitator A and the another NA member. Many thanks. There were no record keeping or financial inconsistencies found among the treasurer monthly reports, PayPal and the bank account. Temporary adjustments were made to policy last year in order to carry on area business in the face of the COVID crisis. A PayPal account with the treasurer as owner was set up and used to collect donations and pay area bills. Now is the time to either return to the policy as written or change it. With your help I hope to accomplish this in the coming year. I am having a P&P meeting today with the following topics: Audit Results Reporting of new meeting or meeting change Area committee meeting going back to meeting in person RCM Position Area Audit Financial Accountability I will report on the outcome of the meeting next month. PR Report March 13, 2022 Good afternoon Badgerland Area trusted servants Chairperson: Mark S. We did not meet as a subcommittee this month, however, we have accomplished a few things in the last month regarding Public Relations in the Badgerland Area. I would like to thank this body for approving the Public Relations budget for the upcoming year of 2022. It took hard work to come up with the figures to satisfy the needs and wants of our committee for the coming year. Again, thank you. First of all, we contacted Brad Kish of Entercom and he is going air our PSA (Public Service Announcement) on 3 different radio stations in the Madison area, all FM, 94,9, 105.1 & 105.5 for the next 2 weeks for a total 120 plays or 40 plays per station. Next, we contacted Amy Newton at Houck Advertising and had brand proofs for the bus signs made to reflect the new helpline number for the Wisconsin Region that went into effect on March 1st. Next, we contacted Peg Anthony at Madison Metro and gave her the proofs so she could make and put new bus signs with the new number in the designated buses in the Madison area for the 3 months starting in 2023. Next we contacted Vistaprint and had 2000 business card made with the new Regional helpline number on the front and 2 QR codes on the back depicting the Badgerland Area website and the Wisconsin Region website. The total cost of the business cards was $67.52. Lastly, Mike R. trained me on how to make changes in Area and Regional BMLT to currently reflect the status or meetings in this Area and Region, so if any GSRs needs to make changes to your meeting, you can contact Mike or I to do so in the BMLT. January 2022 Regional Report from Wisconsin Regional Delegate (RD) Team
Hello family, Thanks for allowing us to serve this body. WeREPORTS continue to work to keep communicating and keep the flow of information happening. Since we last met in November, we have attended the Conference Participant (CP) meeting. We will be Trusted Servant Reports meeting virtually on the following dates for the abbreviated legal portion of the WSC in 2022 (this will include only legal Co-Facilitator A: matters that need to be voted through and the approval of the SPAD). Those dates are April 22, 23, 29, and 30. The CAR has been out since November, let us know if you need help getting a copy. There will be limited need to have CAR workshops as there will are only 5 motions and proposed budget to vote on (including the SPAD). We will be asking the RCMs to bring their decisions to the verbal March cycle so that we can tally the votes and be ready for the virtual meetings. Mark your calendars for the next WCNA in Washington DC in 2024 (August 29 – September 1),
