REPORT: The meeting is going well. We are still reading out of the Basic Text, the stories. We are still a Hybrid meeting.. We are hoping to Host the Heart’s n’ Hugs function on Saturday February 11 @ the Goodman Center. If Area approves for our group to host this event, we would be asking Area to pay for the space, $225.00 and the group will pay for the food and decorations. TOPICS Budget
We were unable to come to any conclusions regarding Badgerland having a budget. The idea of an BASC having a budget could be investigated by an ad hoc committee of interested parties in the future. We leave it to them
Updates to Policy and Procedure Document to bring to Area
1. Change to BASC meeting agenda
a. Item 11. GSR reports updated to GSR questions, concerns or comments
2. Addition to Facilitator A Duties
a. Coordinate the update of the cosigners (Facilitator A, Facilitator B, Secretary and RCM) of the BASC bank account
i. Obtain a copy of the December BASC minutes (required by the bank) that states the full legal first name and first initial of the last name of both the outgoing and newly elected Facilitator A, Facilitator B, Secretary and RCM.
ii. Arrange to meet (at the bank) with both the outgoing and newly elected cosigners (bring two forms of ID) to add and remove the cosigners to the account.
3. Public relations duties
Mike presented a lengthy revision of the Public Relations positions duties. It was decided it was too specific and too long. It was suggested that he revise and present it to the next Area for consideration or wait until the next Policy & Procedure meeting.
Other
1. I would like to purchase 10 copies of GLS $82.50 for the incoming committee using the administrative monthly budget of $100
2. I plan on providing area with 30 copies of the updated P&P.
3. I am donating the monitor (and bag) and camera and cables.
4. I will make area document in my possession available to area.

H&I

H&I continues it’s four in person meetings within Dane County. We are holding at least half of these weekly meetings and could always use more willing volunteers. Several new volunteers are still going through the vetting process to gain access to the system at this time and this is exciting. Jefferson County & Rock County jails continue to recruit volunteers for their own in person meetings. H&I is currently in the final steps of scheduling our new virtual meetings with the Sauk Co. Jail and we hope to have those two meetings up and running within the next two months. Dani Miller is our new H&I Co-chair and has begun active service on the Committee. The next Quarterly H&I meeting will be held Jan. 15th.

Fun w/ Flags is still going on. Nothing actually new to report. But I would like to thank everyone for being patient with me this past year as I dealt with my injury and not able to fulfill my duties as well. I am happy that we were able to start fun w/ flags and that we got many more groups involved with Area and attending different meetings. I have met many new wonderful people along the way and have made news friends as well. I am also grateful to all the new meeting that have started up and the commitment that people have taken on to keep those meetings running. It has been my honor to serve as you fellowship and development for the past 2 years. I will be staying on as a GSR for the More will be Revealed meeting and will help out any where I can moving forward.
