1.Questions:Whatservices does Badgerland area currently provide to groups?

• Directories showing where and when NA groups in the area hold their recovery meetings can help addicts and others find nearby meetings being conducted at times convenient to them.

• A ready supply of NA books and pamphlets can make it easier for groups to stock their literature tables.

• NA panel presentations at addiction treatment centers and correctional facilities can reach addicts particularly in need of what we have to offer.

1. BUS SIGNS: Our committee determined that we needed to have 20 replacement signs instead of only the 10 signs that were originally planned because of the fact the new Regional helpline number was implemented and launched much earlier then we thought it was going to be, so we decided that the new number needs to be seen as soon as possible on all of our P.R, objects including aforementioned bus signs. We are asking This Area for an extra $225 to added to our budget to pay for the 10 extra signs. Motion passed.

The last month has been an extremely busy time for Badgerland H&I. We happy to announce we have a new Co-Chair pending induction on Aug. 14th, ‘22. Dani Miller will attend the next Area meeting and be voted in. She brings experience and dedication to this position and we are fortunate to have her as a new face of recovery in our community. The Dane County jails remain open to in person meetings as does Oakhill Correctional Institution with new applicants filing their vetting process papers. Both Rock & Jefferson Counties are actively seeking volunteers to get their in person programs up and running. After nearing two years in the planning the Sauk County Jail is ready to launch virtual NA meetings with Madison volunteers beginning in September.

The New phone list and meeting list are now out. Please take only what you need so all can have some. I am now an official Volunteer for Meriter Hospital. I now can go into new start and share the message of NA. The process was easy, and it just take about a month or so to complete, If you would like to know what the process is and how to start it, I would love to tell you how. I am working on getting fun with Flags for our area started, still gathering information.
