Fragments of history and strength of tradition at Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur in Burgundy Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur, a renowned wine estate in Burgundy’s Vosne-Romanée, goes back in its history to the early 19th century (1830). The estate specialises in making classical Burgundy wines, honouring the long tradition of the Gros family winemaking. Today, brother and sister Vincent and Elodie Gros who represent the seventh generation of the Gros family work at Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur. Both born and raised at the estate, Vincent and Elodie spent most of their

Restaurant Sens at the Hotel Vitznauerhof, located on the shores of the beautiful Swiss Lake Lucerne surrounded by the Alps, offers its guests a dining experience like no other. The high cuisine at Sens is focused on fermentation, giving the imaginative dishes bold and memorable flavours. At the heart of it all is the young Michelin-star chef Jeroen Achtien, passionately leading the team at Sens to carefully craft the unique culinary combinations to surprise the clients at the restaurant. Kazu Saito, who pursues beauty and freedom through Nihonga (Japanese painting), was born in 1960 in

Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture. His beautiful and elegant works are so fascinating that they can even make you forget the passage of time. He was drawn into that world and majored in Nihonga at “Kyoto Prefectural Private Art University”. After graduating, he won the Shinwa Art Exhibition Gold Award and the Kyoto Arts and Crafts Exhibition Grand Prize, and has been attracting attention far and wide. We asked Saito, currently based in Kyoto, about his thoughts on Nihonga. 日本画を通して美と自由を追求する、斉藤和さんは 1960 年京都府京丹後市に生まれました。美しく気品のある作 品は、時が経つのを忘れてしまうほど魅了されます。日 本画の世界に引き込まれ「京都市立芸術大学」で日本画 を専攻。卒業後しんわ美術展金賞や京都美術工芸展大賞 を受賞するなど、多方面で注目されています。現在、京 都市を拠点に活動されている斉藤和さんに、日本画への 想いやメッセージを伺いました。

Today, Moment Factory is known as an international multimedia studio specialising in creating immersive environments. Established 20 years ago in Montreal, Canada, the company currently has offices around the world and employs a large team of almost 400 people. Over the years, the studio has managed to create over 450 projects and events in a variety of locations around the world. Ski resort Gstaad has long won the hearts of travellers from across the world with its elaborate natural landscape and the unique alpine feel of its villages. Gstaad belongs to the Swiss municipality Saanen located in the German part of the country. The population of Saanen is comprised of just 7,000 inhabitants and almost as many cows. The villages of destination Gstaad are located at the height of 1,000 to 1,400 metres above sea level, allowing visitors to get away from the rhythm of city life and enjoy the silence of the mountains. Today, Gstaad offers a broad variety of activates and entertainment to the guests all year round, with over 200 kilometres of ski slopes in the winter and proximity of Switzerland’s picturesque lakes located in close proximity to the resort for guests to enjoy in the summer period. 見事な自然の景色とアルプス特有の村の雰囲気で世界中の旅行者の心を掴んできた、スイスが誇るスキーリゾート・グ シュタード。ザーネンというスイスの中でもドイツ寄りの地域にあり、その人口はわずか 7,000 人で、それと同じくら いの数の牛が生息しています。 旅先とされるグシュタードの村は標高 1,000 ～ 1,400 メートルに位置し、訪れる人々は都会の喧騒から離れ、山の静け さを楽しむことができます。さらに、グシュタードには一年を通して楽しめる様々なアクティビティやエンターテイメ ントがあります。冬には 200km を超える長さのスキー場があり、また、まるで絵のような美しさの湖がリゾートの近 くにあるため、夏のシーズンも十分にリゾートを楽しむことができます。
