May is a thrilling time for us at Gemporia, as we celebrate the height of spring whilst looking ahead to the bright possibilities that come with both this season and the next.
We begin the month of May with Into the Wild, an exotic gemstone safari which, I must say, is definitely worth embarking on! We then explore the artistic prowess of gemstones during our magnificent Jewellery Exhibition event, before unveiling our most elite pieces during The Prestige Gallery. Last (but by no means least), we close the month with Petals & Pearls, a delightful offering of naturally beautiful and timeless jewellery appropriate for brides, bridesmaids, wedding guests, and everyone in between.
This time of the year is a time of opportunity, and we have worked hard to make it undoubtedly special. No matter where you are on your gemstone journey this month, I hope our May event calendar will guide you on the steps you have yet to take.
Giving Back
At Gemporia, we work tirelessly to ensure our products are made from responsibly sourced materials and to give back to the communities from which they come. FINE Jewellery shares our mission to support local communities and has taken on initiatives such as planting and nurturing over 10,000 trees and rejuvenating a lake in a water-scarce region of Gujarat, India.

’m Rachel, Gemporia’s Operations Director! I’ve been here for just over ten years, starting as Head of the Contact Centre which gave me an excellent insight into our customer journey.
I could learn what customers wanted to see, what they’re looking for from us, and give them an exceptional experience as a result. That’s why we’ve got an awardwinning contact centre!
I became OD in 2019 and have since overseen the call centre and all business operations, including Gemporia Craft. I manage areas like the warehouse, returns, supply chains, compliance, and health and safety. I’m a natural problem solver, so this role suits me perfectly.
I work closely with delivery partners to ensure parcels arrive on time, and with the warehouse team to make sure everything is packaged to the highest standard –with that special ‘wow’ factor! I love reading customer feedback and especially enjoy seeing kind messages about our call centre team. It’s all valuable, and helps us keep improving.
I truly love my job. No two days are the same, and I get to work with creative people to bring beautiful products to life – whilst having fun along the way! Gemporia is a true partnership, where everyone has a stake in what we do. Whenever I visit the warehouse, I’m met with smiles and a real sense of pride in the work.
My home features lovely Kimbie items, and my jewellery box is now full of coloured gemstones –even though I once only wore Diamonds!

My collection’s grown a lot over the years (to my husband’s dismay). I adore Ametrine, Citrine, and Emerald, but Diamond will always be my favourite.
As OD I’m always juggling projects, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We’ve got some exciting things in the pipeline – I can’t reveal much just yet, but we know you’ll love what’s coming… so watch this space!
