How it works
You commit to working for 3 years as an inpatient RN at Geisinger. As long as you meet this work requirement, you don’t have to repay your education loan.
Amount: $20,000
1-time payment upon starting your 2-year Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program
Amount: $20,000
1-time payment upon starting your RN position
Amount: $40,000
3-year work commitment beginning upon your hire as a Geisinger RN

How to become a Scholar
1. Apply to our School of Nursing (SON) ADN program.
• Indicate interest in Geisinger’s Nursing and Health Sciences Scholars Program on your SON application.
2. Upon acceptance to the SON:
• Apply to the Nursing and Health Sciences Scholars Program at go.geisinger.org/nursingscholars
• Complete all required documentation for the application, including submission of your letter of acceptance and anticipated graduation date.
Already an SON student?
• Apply at go.geisinger.org/nursingscholars before entering the final 12 months of the ADN program.
Application deadline
You must submit your application before entering the final 12 months of the SON ADN program.
