Kim barne thaliyu / Geelong Heritage Centre hosts this fascinating exhibition featuring images, architectural plans, and items from this era of change.

STATE OF CHANGE – RURAL & REGIONAL STORIES FROM 2020 A STATE LIBRARY VICTORIA PHOTO EXHIBITION

Monday 4 July to Saturday 27 August | Colac Library A poignant series of photographs that document the year that was 2020 in regional Victoria. Captured through a local lens, these images share the moments and challenges of regional life. Works depict locations in Colac-Otway Shire and the Surf Coast Shire. The project was proposed by John Rodsted and captured by photographers Tiffany Garvie, Fabiana Guerreiro, Aldona Kmieć and James Wiltshire.

A panel discussion exploring the structures, processes and dominant knowledge that patriarchy invites and examining the consequences of this, and what we need to do to create change. This event is presented in partnership with Geelong Women’s Union Network.
