We Know That…..
• No Equipment is ever as efficient as the day it was installed, therefore how do we judge if the equipment is worn enough to warrant replacement?
• Equipment in the UAE market is often oversized and therefore runs at low load conditions during most of its life. Perhaps resizing would serve to reduce energy usage
• Function or load requirements of the Facility often change with time. Equipment may not be well sized for the new function/load.
When gauging the retrofit/replacement of equipment in a facility, Energy audit can act as a great instrument to measure and guide the retrofit process.
Through the use of Energy audit, measurement and data analysis we can appropriately gauge the effectiveness, efficiency and aptness of equipment to serve its intended purpose.
