CAMPUS KICKS MAGAZINE PUBLICATION

This was an extensive collaborative process. It

was decided that this release of the Campus Kicks

publication was to be focused on trending shoe styles

on the Campus of Grand Canyon University. Personally, I filled a prominent leadership role; managed the

working files, designed the cover, and actively worked to improve the layout of each spread; especially for

the sections: The Art of a Shoe and Educational Gossip.

VOTING CAMPAIGN VOTING GUIDE & EXHIBITION

The goal behind this extensive campaign was

to inform young adults about voting. To get the

attention of the target market, it was important to create a design that would appeal to them. This

campaign was designed with a bold and historic aesthetic to differentiate it from trending voting

campaign styles that college students today have developed a natural aversion to. I worked alongside

Sarah Wentworth in other elements of this campaign, where we established the branding together.

SPIRIT AIRLINES ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

This campaign was a collaborative project between

myself and Chloe Knight. As Chloe assumed the role

as art director, I became the designer and copywriter.

After a deep-dive into the Spirit Airlines damaged

reputation, it was decided to create this campaign in response to the recent malfunction that took place on an Alaskan Airlines Boeing Aircraft – where a

door flew off the plane. This campaign is timely and a bit snarky because Spirit Airlines flies Airbus – a

commercial aircraft manufacturer that happens to be in direct competition to Boeing.

The Spirit marketing department often uses crude humor. This

was exemplified in their “Bare Fare” campaign that was run in response to the negative

feedback they were receiving.

LOGO & LOOK We decided that a campaign logo would be best in order

to reflect how Spirit usually portrays campaigns. To resemble their style, we

agreed to keep the campaign illustration-based and utilize their color palette boldly.

AIRBUS CERTIFIED

GOAL To convince consumers that

Spirit Airlines, despite the fees, is a reliable airline to travel

with from point A to point B.

COPYWRITING We understood the importance of including Spirit’s crude and unapologetic tone.

CENTURIONS NOW

God matters, people matter, and today matters.

Centurions Now is an endeavor focused on

strengthening the fabric of the church. They are

Christian men who are disciples of God working to help other men become disciples.

LOGO This logo design is symbolic and clear. It is important to

maintain a focus on The Cross and what Jesus did for us in

his life and death – especially in the pursuit of disciplines.

MERCHANDISE These high quality products are just a few items that

can be utilized and sold at a national level. Products

displayed include a polo, a keychain, and a thermos.

CITY HOPE

City Hope is a ministry of Christ Church. It is a

nonprofit that provides food, hygiene, and clothing

to those in need. It runs on donations and volunteers and is upheld by three missional pillars; relief,

relationship, and redemption. Ultimately, City Hope exists to glorify God.

PERSONALIZED ICON SET

LANDING PAGE A landing page is meant to

be direct and provide a call

to action. I utilized City Hope’s branding and mission, while adding my own creative

copywriting and icon set. The

images are not my own. They belong to City Hope.

APPAREL To take the call to action to the next level, I decided to

create apparel. This expansion took me down a copywriting path that realistically

compliments City Hope’s established branding.

SPACE.COM WEBSITE REDESIGN

Space.com is a news website that revolves around space exploration, innovation, and discovery. The intention behind this redesign was to take their

existing content and ensure it was not only digestible to the consumer, but engaging. Given the amount of

content a media site has to explore, it was essential to create consistency across the space.

ZAC GROOMS

TRIBUTE ALBUM COVER Zac Grooms is a locally known singer/songwriter/ guitarist and also a Nashville and Northwest

recording artist. In addition, he is a music producer and band leader for Brewer’s Grade Band.

Randy Studebaker was a friend. Randy suffered in the last few years of his life, but it was evident to family

and friends that he was able to experience comfort when given the opportunity to listen to Zac’s music.

To me, Randy was family. I had the privilege of not

only meeting Zac, but witnessing his musical gift and

the heart behind his music. The opportunity to design a meaningful album cover was a privilege.
