All students must create an account to register for GCPA programming. There may be one account per family representing multiple students. Accounts must be created before registration may be completed. Email info@gcpastl.org with account questions and support. CLICK HERE TO CREATE YOUR GCPA ACCOUNT!

GCPA charges a nonrefundable registration fee of $25 per student per year, due upon registration.

Families enrolling more than one student at a time are charged a non-refundable family registration fee of $35 per year. Registration fees are charged on a Fall-Spring-Summer cycle.

Accounts are automatically charged the fee for the first session enrolled during that cycle.

Ages 5+, for families who need alternative pick up times! Will involve creative play, crafts, movies, and other fun activities. Campers are also welcome to bring activities of their own. Offered for any programming at the Webster location. Production camps may not have this option when at the theatre.

TIMES: 7:45 am - 9 am, 4 pm - 5:30 pm Campers for Early Camp will not be accepted before 7:45am.

Any camper dropped off earlier will not be under GCPA supervision.

Campers picked up past 5:30pm will be charged $1 per minute.

All transfer and withdrawal requests require a CHANGE REQUEST FORM available in the GCPA office or by emailing info@gcpastl.org. Students may transfer to another camp up to 1 week prior to the start date at no additional no charge, subject to availability.

Withdrawals are permitted for a full refund (less the registration fee) 3 weeks prior to your camp start date. Withdrawals are permitted with a 50% refund (less the registration fee) 2 weeks prior to your camp date. Withdrawals 1 week or less from your camp date are non-refundable and nontransferable to credit or program transfer.

GCPA may cancel a camp due to low enrollment. Low enrollment camps will be notified 14 days prior to the first day that their camp is low enrollment. Camps will be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the first day. Enrolled students will be offered the opportunity to transfer to an appropriate camp or receive a full refund for the class tuition. Registration fee is only refundable if the cancelled camp is the only camp/production the student is registered for within the previous 12 months.

GCPA offers need-based financial assistance and payment plans. Please enroll in the desired program(s) without submitting payment to hold your spot, then contact Stephanie at sfox@gcpastl.org for paperwork and processing.

Morning and Afternoon camps should expect 1 snack break. Students taking two half day camps or a full day camp should expect 2 snack breaks and a lunch break.

Students are expected to bring their own food and beverage (including a full water bottle). Food should not need refrigeration or reheating.

GCPA typically offers limited snacks, including chips, cookies, and fruit snacks for $1 as well as a water dispenser/fountain to refill bottles, as needed. The availability of these options will depend on current COVID-19 recommendations. Contact campmanager@gcpastl.org for current information.

If students take regular medicines or have any food allergies, they are to be reported to the staff before the first day of camp. At GCPA, we want to be respectful and vigilant of all student needs, and will do so to the best of our ability.

At the end of each camp week, students will present a Final Camp Demonstration to show the skills and repertoire they have learned throughout their course. This is not intended to be a polished production-level performance, but rather an opportunity to show what has been learned and to grow from the opportunity to perform. Until further notice, all demonstrations will be recorded during the final class and provided to families to watch from home at their convenience.

Students will have a blast as they learn the basics of creative drama in this totally super camp. Imagine the greatest heroes, craft them to life, and tell their stories, all in this awesome week-long camp!

Spells on Stage

Enter the world of wizardry and witchcraft with Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts.

Get sorted into your House, find your Patronus, and even find your wizarding wand! Learn about the physicality of acting and movement as you explore the many imaginative characters and creatures of the wizarding world. This camp will also explore basic wand combat and acting improvisation toward an original story unveiled on the final day.

Musical Theatre Performance

Play in a Day

From the basics to Broadway, this camp walks step by step through the process of performing a scene from a musical. Learn character analysis, blocking and choreography, acting the song, and other important techniques to help you pursue your next big role!

Bring your playwriting skills to our table! This camp creates a new play each day! Play multiple different roles and learn the basics of creating, writing, and producing your own play in this fast paced blast of a camp!

Intensives are perfect for experienced students ready for a challenge!

Ages 9 - 12: Triple Threat Training June 28th - July 2nd, 9 am - 4 pm, $350 Spend a fun, intensive week developing your skills in Voice, Dance, and Acting! Taught by industry professionals, students will develop a deeper understanding of each discipline and how it pertains to Musical Theatre. Each day will be broken down into 3 parts: Dance: Musical Theatre Dance, Tap and Ballet Acting: Scene Work and Monologue Selection Voice: Technique, harmonizing, and solo work Eligibility: Students age 9 - 12 with at least 2 years of experience in musical theatre, dance, or applicable training. Class time will be broken up by levels when appropriate. Please email your resume or list of experience to sfox@gcpastl.org for approval.

Ages 9 - 12: Acting Intensive July 26th - 30th, 9 am - 4 pm, $350 Ready to take your acting skills to the next level? This fun, intensive week will focus on bringing the characters on a page to life. Students will spend class time working on dissecting scripts, making choices based on our understanding of human behavior, creating authentic physicality and vocal choices, and then applying those skills to various scripts.

Eligibility: Students age 9 - 12 with at least 2 years of experience musical theatre, acting, or applicable training. Class time will be broken up by levels when appropriate. Please email your resume or list of experience to sfox@gcpastl.org for approval.

Ages 13+ Conquering the Callback June 28th - July 2nd, 9 am - 4 pm $350 You've nailed your vocal audition - now what? Callbacks can be one of the most intimidating parts of the audition process, but there is much you can do to be prepared and show your best. Each day will include class time working on callback technique and best practices and then applying those skills in a mock callback. Each day you will audition for a different show, putting your skills to practice from the dance call to reading and singing for roles.

Eligibility: Students age 13 - 18 with at least 2 years of experience in musical theatre, dance, or applicable training. Material will be broken up by levels when appropriate. Please email your resume or list of experience to sfox@gcpastl.org for approval.

Ages 13+ Triple Threat Acting July 26th - 30th, 9 am - 4 pm, $350 It's not enough to just sing, dance, and act well, independently - you have to be able to tell a story no matter what you are doing on stage! Spend a fun, intensive week developing your ability to ACT through scene, song, and dance. Taught by industry professionals, students will work on technique and develop a deeper understanding of authentic storytelling through each of these mediums. Each day will be broken down into 3 parts: Dance: Musical Theatre Dance - Creating a Character Acting: Scene Work - Engaging with your scene partner Voice: Solo and Small Groups - Acting the Song Eligibility: Students age 13 - 18 with at least 2 years of experience musical theatre, dance, or applicable training. Summer classes meet weekly for 8 weeks June 2nd - 29th July 7th - 28th *Classes will not meet over the 4th of July week.

Summer classes are held for 8 weeks: 4 weeks In June, 4 weeks in July (dates listed above) Students may enroll in either June OR July at 50% of the rate.

If you wish to register for June OR July, do NOT register online.

Please email Info@gcpastl.org to be registered through the office.** **No refund will be given for paying for the full summer when wanting only half of the summer. You must contact the office to register.

Summer payments may only be split by June or July. If you need some weeks in June and some in July, you must pay for the full summer/full month to hold your spot. $97.50 for the 8-week session of a 45-minute class $130 for the 8-week session of a 1-hour class $195 for the 8-weel session of a 1.5-hour class

All transfer and withdrawal requests require a CLASS CHANGE REQUEST FORM available in the GCPA office or by emailing info@gcpastl.org.

Transfers must be instructor approved. Students may transfer during the first 3 weeks of the current session.

Withdrawals 2 weeks or more prior to the current session are permitted for a full refund (less $25 registration fee).

Withdrawals less than two weeks prior to the current session are permitted with a $25 withdrawal fee and less $25 registration fee.

Withdrawals after the start of class are non-refundable through the current month of payment. Students making monthly payments must submit a CLASS CHANGE REQUEST FORM 10 days prior to next payment due date or be charged for the following month.
