Artistic Director’s Note Every season is magical but this season brings some really special productions that are close to my heart.

We begin our season with The Wizard of Oz which is my all-time favorite childhood classic. I was honored to play Dorothy as a senior in high school, and that experience left a lasting mark on my heart. I still have a full collection of Oz memorabilia. Beyond the nostalgia, it’s the story’s message that continues to resonate for me. No matter where life takes you, you can always find your people, your chosen family, and still stay connected to where you began. Also, GCPA is built around the pillars our four friends are seeking. We’re a community built on compassion, strength, and inquisitiveness, reminding each other that “there’s no place like home.”

From Oz’s timeless journey, we jump into the high-energy world of Grease. This one also holds a special place in my story as I’ve played Jan three times, the most memorable being where I met my husband and my core, life-long friend group. (Shout out to the Shawnees!) It’s a classic, and while some of its themes reflect a different era, at its core Grease is about young people figuring out who they are, how they fit in, and how to stay true to themselves in the process. That exploration is exactly what makes working with young artists so inspiring. They’re right in the middle of that same journey, discovering who they want to be both onstage and off.

Next up, we return to Frozen Kids and this one feels like a celebration. This is our firstever official repeat of a production. We first staged Frozen in 2021, just as we were finding our way back after COVID. It was a masked, limited performance, but it carried so much joy and healing at a time we needed it most. Bringing it back now for ages 6 11, along with Frozen Jr. for ages 11 - 16, gives us the chance to revisit that story of love, bravery, and sisterhood - this time, without barriers. For many of our students, Frozen is their “Oz,” and I can’t wait to see new performers find their voices in Arendelle with this registration-based production.

For our audition-based programs, we have a first! Our middle group will tackle a fulllength production of The Lightning Thief. This will be for ages 11–16 and gives this group a bigger stage and a bigger challenge. Very similar to Oz, The Lightning Thief follows a young person on an epic journey of self-realization along with loyal companions and a lot of magic. I’m excited to watch our young artists rise to the occasion.

And then there’s Rent. This one has been on our “dream show” list for years - and for good reason. It’s Executive Director Paul Pagano’s all-time favorite, and one that has shaped countless performers and theatre lovers alike. Rent is a rock musical that follows a group of young artists and friends in New York City as they navigate love, friendship, and the challenges of life and creativity while confronting the impact of the AIDS epidemic. Because of its mature themes, we extended the age range to 16–20, allowing older performers to take on material that pushes them artistically and emotionally.

Across every show this season, whether we’re skipping down the yellow brick road, dancing through Rydell High, or standing on the rooftops of New York, our performers are learning to take risks, tell stories, and find their people. As an artistic team, we’re constantly amazed by their growth, courage, and their ability to find joy in the work.

Director's Note The 1950s weren’t exactly known for gender equality, and all too often women were labelled based on false rumors, outright lies, or on their choice of self expression. Grease is a story that customarily has leaned into patriarchal societal norms and didn’t question the labels put on the female characters inside the story. When we began working on Grease, we went in with a bunch of questions. Does Sandy really change for a man or did she evolve on her own terms? Does Rizzo really have multiple partners or is that just a rumor that’s easier to accept than fight? Does Danny really just do nothing and Sandy is the only one who changes? When reading the script with those questions in mind, there was enough in the text to suggest the answers to those questions aren't as black and white as has been portrayed.

While I wasn’t a teenager in the 50s, when I was in high school I know false rumors were spread about people, and after a short time of trying to fight the rumor, some decided to “accept” what others said about them knowing the truth was vastly different. I also know that peers were trying to evolve but kept getting put back in a box that no longer fit who they were by both adults and other students. So why can’t that be true for the characters in Grease? There are lots of places in the story where Sandy shows signs of her growing desire to evolve. And “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” in our version, isn’t about blind loyalty to Danny. There’s a desire to be with Danny that she doesn’t yet understand but chooses to put in the work to learn, and makes a statement to Danny that “there’s nowhere to hide” as they figure it out. And in the end, with the intertwined arc of Sandy and Rizzo’s story, Sandy makes a decision to allow herself to evolve into the person she sees herself moving toward…a strong, confident woman who no longer fits into a box.

As for Rizzo, I believe she’s a product of immense bullying. She has chosen to wear her hair a little differently, has chosen to be sexually active with Kenickie (something a man gets praised for and a woman gets scorned for), and because she has her own sensibilities has been labelled a tramp. She has put up a gruff exterior to protect herself from the names that get hurled at her. And hurt people hurt people. She gives Sandy a really hard time, but there are moments where Sandy subtly pushes back. Rizzo starts to see some of herself in Sandy. And when we get to “There Are Worse Things I Could Do,” Rizzo isn’t saying these are things she’s done, she’s saying these are things she could do…”there are worse things I could do than go with a boy or two…I could flirt with all the guys…I could stay home every night.” But when we get to the last verse, she reveals the truth that connects her and Sandy, “I could hurt someone like me out of spite or jealousy. I don’t steal and I don’t lie, but I can feel and I can cry.” And for a teenager who may be pregnant (and definitely knows it’s Kenickie’s child), the worst thing she can do is “cry in front of you.” It’s not just Sandy, it’s herself. To be vulnerable enough to cry to/about herself feels like the worst thing she could do, because to be that honest with ourselves is extremely hard and can feel like a bad thing. But that kind of vulnerability is what empowers Sandy to allow her evolution to blossom.

Men already get enough attention, so I’m going to keep Danny’s explanation short.

While Danny believes he needs to keep a cool image, when Sandy joins the cheerleading squad and Danny thinks it’s to get the attention of a jock, he tries out for the track team. In the moment it may appear he’s doing it out of anger, but if he didn’t really care about Sandy, he’s popular enough at school to keep doing what he’s doing and find another girl. But because he thinks it’s a way to gain Sandy’s attention, he does it. Even though he quits the team (in the stage version, anyway. I prefer the movie’s storyline where he stays on the team and earns a Varsity letter), he has stepped outside his comfort zone to evolve for Sandy.

Outside of the story, the cast, crew, and creative team have had to work through an unfathomable loss. The process was marked by the sudden and unexpected passing of Jarod Rhodes. Jarod’s energy and smile filled a room. He made sure to greet all his castmates during rehearsals and made everyone feel welcome. Jarod’s zest for life was contagious and led to the moniker “LLJ”…Live Like Jarod. We carry his light with us this weekend, and always.

Who's Who Katie Balinski (Ensemble) is a freshman and excited to be in another GCPA MainStage production! A few recent roles include Pinocchio in Shrek Jr. (GCPA), Grandma Addams in Addams Family Jr. (Dayspring), Old Sally in Oliver! (GCPA), and Pearl in SpongeBob Youth Edition (GCPA) —with one of her favorite roles ever as the Wicked Witch in Wizard of Oz Jr. (Dayspring). She is a member of the GCPA CrAFT program and takes voice lessons with Sarah Vlodek. When not on stage, Katie plays volleyball and basketball for her high school and loves to read! She would like to thank the Grease company for this amazing experience!

Adalyn Baron (Marty) (she/her) Is a Junior and is excited to have her first lead role with GCPA as Marty in Grease this spring.

Previous GCPA credits include understudy Glinda/Ensemble in Wizard of Oz, Ensemble in Prom, Oliver, and Ragtime, Muriel in Newsies Jr., Ensemble in 9 to 5 and Cowgirl Bonnie in Footloose Youth Edition. Adalyn was head cheerleader in High School Musical and countess Lilly in Anastasia through DaySpring Arts & Education. Adalyn is a member of GCPA’s CrAFT program. She studies private voice lessons with Ashleigh Blevins (GCPA) and takes Senior Musical Theatre Dance, Senior Acting Advanced, and Senior Viewpoints classes at GCPA. Adalyn loves to spend her time singing and performing. She enjoys spending time with her GCPA family and friends. Adalyn would like to thank her friends and family for their support and GCPA for the opportunity to be Marty in Grease.

Lachlan Bell (Ensemble) is thrilled to slick back his hair and make his GCPA debut in Grease! His past roles include Donkey in his middle school production of Shrek and Frank, Jr. in Merrily We Roll Along (Take Two Productions), for which he was nominated for an AFL Best Performance Award. Other favorite roles include Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (The J Youth Theatre) and Crutchie in Newsies (The J Youth Theatre). When he’s not onstage, Lachlan can be found singing in the shower, playing water polo and baseball, or hanging out with his brother and sisters. Lachlan would like to thank everyone at GCPA and the wonderful cast and crew of Grease for an unforgettable production.

Mike Berube (Sonny) (he/him) is thrilled to participate in GCPA’s production of Grease as Sonny! This is his third show with GCPA, and his other credits include Facebender in Airness (CHS), Crew for Into the Woods (GCPA), Sheldon in The Prom (GCPA), Hans in Frozen (CHS), Officer Barrel in Urinetown (Ignite Theatre Company), and many more!

Mike is also a member of GCPA’s CrAFT College Program–and is beyond grateful for his teachers, Michael Harp (tap), Sierra Horst (high school director), Lori Pagano (voice), Paul Pagano (acting), and Todd Weeks (ballet), for being a wonderful guide to his theatre education, and providing a supportive space for his journey. Mike is also incredibly grateful for anyone else who has helped him grow as a person and a performer!

Abigail Bick (Ensemble) (she/her) is a freshman at Cor Jesu and is so excited to be a part of Grease! Her recent roles include Wicked Witch in Shrek Jr., (GCPA), Ensemble in Beetlejuice Jr., (Ignite Theater Company), Adult Ensemble in Oliver!

(GCPA), and Peach in Nemo Jr., (GCPA) and a member of the CrAFT team for the 20252026 season. Abigail was also on the Youth Creative Team for The Prom! (GCPA) as one of their amazing assistant stage managers and she participates in Cor Jesu’s freshman choir. She would like to thank her crazy friends and family for supporting and helping her through this journey. Stay gold <3 Jamie Boudreau (Ensemble) a sophomore, is so excited to be performing in Grease for the second time this year! Outside of theatre, she participates in Kirkwood High School’s Concert Choir program and loves spending time with the friends she’s made through GCPA. She thanks GCPA for giving her the best theatre family ever, and her family at home for always “hopelessly devoting” their time to help her reach her dreams. Enjoy the show!

Norah Brym (Ensemble) is excited to be part of this incredible production, her seventh with GCPA and fourteenth in all!

Kaydence Creech (Sandy), an 11th grader, is thrilled to be playing Sandy with GCPA's production of Grease! Previous credits include Anastasia in Anastasia (SPAA), Cady Heron in Mean Girls (OTW), and Cinderella in Into the Woods (HS), to name a few. She would like to thank Paul and Lori Pagano, Stephanie Fox, and Ashleigh Blevins for their amazing coaching and support, as well as the entire cast and crew for making this experience so special.

Matilda Goldkamp (Ensemble) (she/her), a freshman, is ecstatic to be a part of Grease!

Some of her favorite shows include Shrek (GCPA), Frozen Jr., (St. Peter), Oliver (GCPA), Matilda (SSP), School of Rock (GCPA), Newsies (GCPA), and A Christmas Story (GCPA). She also studies voice with Ashleigh Blevins. She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support!

Marchesa Dolton (Rizzo), a junior, is thrilled to be part of this production!

Credits include: Kaylee in The Prom (GCPA), Ariel in Footloose Youth Edition (GCPA) and various other roles with GCPA, Arch City Theatre Troupe and Shooting Star Productions. Marchesa was a GCPA Show Starter for three years, and she is currently a member of GCPA’s CrAFT program. She studies voice with Katie Kopff and dance and acting at GCPA. Sydney Dufendach (Ensemble), a 9th grader, is extremely excited to perform in Grease at GCPA! Most recent credits include: Ensemble in Big Fish (SPAA), Hugo in Tuck Everlasting (SPAA), Lydia in Beetlejuice (NMS), and Charlotte in Oliver!

(GCPA). Sydney trains through acting, musical theater, improv, and dance classes. She is incredibly grateful to be working with such an incredible cast and crew, and wishes the audience enjoyment of the wonderful show.

Jack Estopare (Roger) is thrilled to be back for his 6th GCPA production! He has previously performed in The Prom (Nick), A Christmas Story (Flick), Matilda, and more.

Jack is a Junior at Chaminade where he also participates in theatre.

Kameron Samuel Henry (Doody), is a St. Louis–based actor, dancer, and singer whose credits include Bring It On, Frozen, Evita, Kaleidoscope Crown, In the Heights, and Beauty and the Beast with The Muny’s Youth/Teen Ensemble and Muny Kids Troupe 2023, 2024 and 2025. Additional performance credits include The Color Purple, French Connection Josephine Baker Story, and Motown Tap Fest’s tribute to Barry Gordy. His recent performance at Green Room 42 singing a musical theater classic, “Mamma a Rainbow” earned him recognition with Broadway Kids Auditions.

Kameron-Samuel has trained at the Center of Creative Arts (COCA), Consuming Kinetic Dance Co. (CKDC), and through various musical theater and dance intensives, with a strong background in ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz, and acrobatics Emerson Huse (Radio Singer, u/s Sandy), a 10th grader, is thrilled to be a part of Grease! Credits include Witches in I Hate Shakespeare at WHS, Ensemble in Brian the Comet and Percy Jackson at ECC, Cop in Clue at WHS, Mia in The Inexplicable Chaos Factor of Mia Gregory at ECC, and Stepmother in Into the Woods at WHS. She is excited to be serving as Sandy’s Understudy, the Radio Singer, and a member of the Ensemble in GCPA’s production of Grease. Emerson is deeply thankful for her incredibly supportive family, whose constant encouragement and belief in her have made her theatre journey possible.

She has recently supported GCPA in The Wizard of Oz as the Assistant Music Director. Chloe is a member of GCPA’s CrAFT College (Creating Artists Through Focused Training). Brayden Liberton (Eugene) is overjoyed to be playing Eugene in Grease! Chris Lowery (Kenickie) (He/Him) is delighted to take a break from college applications and perform in his tenth GCPA production! Favorite credits include Hines in The Pajama Game (CHS), Milky White in Into the Woods (GCPA), Trent in The Prom (GCPA), Marius in Les Misérables (CHS), and appearing as part of the children’s chorus in Joseph … Dreamcoat (Muny). Over the holidays, he worked his eighth (!!) season on The Polar Express at Union Station. Chris takes voice lessons from the phenomenal Katie Kopff and is a member of GCPA’s CrAFT program. He dances at GCPA and COCA, and studies tap with Lara Teeter. Thank you to everyone at GCPA for their continued kindness and support.

Ray Mabie (Ensemble) (He/Him) is thrilled to be back performing with GCPA for Grease! Ray has previously enjoyed roles in GCPA productions of Oliver! and Finding Nemo Jr., as well as Mean Girls at COCA and multiple school productions. When not on stage, Ray enjoys attending theatrical performances, dance classes, and spending time with friends and family. Ricco Martin Jr. (Teen Angel) is grateful to be appearing in Grease! Stage credits include the works of Little Shop of Horrors, Ragtime, Beauty and The Beast, The PROM, Into The Woods, Hadestown, and more! Professionally, he served as the ASM for I Will Live Until I Die and performed in STAGES St. Louis’ premieres of In the Heights and AIDA, receiving STL Theatre Circle Awards’ and Broadway World recognition. Echo Pentz (Ensemble, u/s Frenchy) (They/Them) is excited to be a part of Grease! They are a sophomore in high school and have been doing theater since 2017. They have participated in musical theater with GCPA in countless musicals including The Wizard Of Oz, Ragtime, A Christmas Story, and Newsies. They have also worked as stage crew and costuming assistant for many performances including Into The Woods, Alice By Heart, and The Prom. They also enjoy fashion, drawing, writing, and anything in the arts! Kathryn Pierce (Dance Captain, Ensemble) is an 8th grader and part-time high school student. She is a 4-year member of GCPA’s Show Starters (Dance Captain) and 3-year member of Lindbergh’s Synchronicity show choir (President, Section Leader, Dance Captain). She is also a member of GCPA’s CrAFT program! Favorite past roles include Gingy in Shrek, Jr. (GCPA) and Elle Woods in Raise Your Voice, Jr. (Ignite Theatre Company). When she’s not performing, she enjoys lacrosse, cross country/track, ballet, robotics, clarinet, piano, Book Battle, and has won state medals for Science Olympiad. She’d like to thank her family, even her 3 older siblings who always tell her to stop singing.

Martha Poppen (Ensemble, u/s Rizzo) Martha's love for the performing arts began in 2015 at The Drama Club St. Louis and has continued to grow with every role she takes on.

Favorite past performances include Bobby Strong (Urinetown – WGHS), Juliet (Romeo and Juliet – WGHS), Squidward (SpongeBob The Musical – GCPA), and Crutchie (Newsies – GCPA), to name a few.

Martha is deeply passionate about her training in advanced tap, acting, and musical theatre dance at GCPA, and finds time to participate in the Drama Club and Chamber Choir at her high school. She also studies voice with Catherine Kopff.

As she looks ahead, Martha is excited to continue growing as an artist and is currently exploring BFA programs in musical theatre to further her journey in the arts.

Paige Presnall (Ensemble) is thrilled to join the cast for GCPA's Grease! Favorite roles include Teen Fiona in Shrek Jr. and Maleficent in Descendants, as well as performances in The Wizard of Oz, School of Rock, Oliver!, and SpongeBob. A GCPA student since 2017, she studies voice and performs with the Show Starters ensemble.

Paige also enjoys playing the piano and flute, often covering her favorite artists. She thanks her family, friends, and teachers for their endless support.

Jarod Rhodes (Doody) is a high school sophomore whose credits include: Young Simba in The Lion King (COCA), Peter Crachet in A Christmas Carol (The Repertory Theater). Sebastion in The Little Mermaid, Buddy in Elf, and Bert in Mary Poppins in various school productions. He was part of the 2024 Muny Kid Troupe and has performed with the Youth Ensemble for Les Miserable, The Little Mermaid, Come From Away, and Frozen (Muny).

Alyssa Sayuk (Frenchy) is thrilled to make her GCPA debut in Grease! She is a sophomore and has trained in dance for 11 years at Turning Pointe. Alyssa also studies voice with Lisa Fahey. Alyssa made her professional debut as a Scab/Ensemble member in Newsies (STAGES St. Louis) and was honored to appear as a Bowery Beauty/Newsie in the IL High School Theatre Fest production of Newsies.

Bailey Vasser (Ensemble) is very excited to be a company member of Grease! This is her second year of doing theater and this is her first GCPA production, other musical she has been in include Ignite theaters Cinderella, Finding Nemo Jr., and Legally Blonde. When not onstage dancing, cheerleading, and tumbling are her favorite activities. Thank you to my family, friends, and the cast and crew of Grease.

Erin Walter (Ensemble, u/s Patty) (she/her) is thrilled to be a part of this great cast and crew for Grease. Some of Erin’s favorite past credits include Anne Boleyn in Six: Teen Edition (COCA) and Maleficent in Descendants, Jr. (Stages),

as well as Shrek Jr. (GCPA) and Newsies, Jr. (GCPA). Erin studies dance at St. Louis Ballet School as well as Charmette Academy of Dance, dances on her high school dance team, and takes voice lessons from Ms. Katie Kopff.

Asher Woodward (Danny), a 10th grader, is so excited to be back on stage with GCPA! Notable GCPA credits include Houdini in Ragtime and Brett in 13. Additional credits include Dear Evan Hansen (MUNY), Fiddler on the Roof (MUNY), Ride the Cyclone (St. Louis Theatre Players), Kinky Boots (Tesseract Theatre Company), Sound of Music (Kirkwood Theatre Guild), and Fun Home (Take Two Productions). Asher was a proud member of the 2025 MUNY Teens troupe. He studies voice with Lori Pagano, ballet with Megan Buckley, and tap with Lara Teeter. Sophia Yoder (Ensemble) (she/her), an 8th grader, is excited to be a part of Grease!

Recent credits include: Attina in The Little Mermaid (IEPT), Storyteller in Shrek, Jr., (GCPA), Princess Jasmine & Mary Katherine Stephen in Raise Your Voice (Ignite), Townfish in Spongebob Youth Edition (GCPA) and looks forward to interning again with GCPA this summer! Charlie G (Assistant Stage Manager) (she/her) is thrilled to be part of the Grease Youth Creative Team, making her Stage Management team debut. Previous GCPA credits include Shrek Jr., (Lights/Sound) and Finding Nemo Jr. (Barracuda/Seagull/Moonfish).

Caroline Peretz (Assistant Stage Manager) is excited to ASM her third show with GCPA! Previously, she’s worked on 9 to 5 and Ragtime. Before being an ASM, she worked as a crew member on Something Rotten!, Bonnie & Clyde, and many more.

She recently stage managed Hadestown: Teen Edition at Nerinx Hall, where she's also appeared onstage as Mother in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Mr. Bennet in Pride and Prejudice. Thank you to the cast, crew, and creative team for this amazing show!!

Mary Kay Schmitt (Assistant Choreographer) is a 10th Grader and is excited to be the Assistant Choreographer for Grease! Mary Kay's favorite past roles include Scuttle in The Little Mermaid (Villa), Ensemble in The Prom (GCPA), Dragon in Shrek Jr. (Chaminade), and other roles with Shooting Star Productions and Chaminade Drama.

CREATIVE TEAM Paul Pagano (Director and Executive Director) (he/him), a native of St. Louis, received his BA in Drama from Washington University and Masters in Theatre Education from Fontbonne University. As a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association since 2001, Paul has had

the opportunity to work with the Guthrie Theatre, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Children’s Theatre Company, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, Hey City Theatre, the MUNY, STAGES St. Louis, HotCity Theatre, and many others. As a director and fight choreographer, in addition to 30+ productions at GCPA, credits include the MUNY, Washington University, Fontbonne University, Missouri All-State Theatre, and Kirkwood Theatre Guild. As an instructor, Paul has taught at GCPA, COCA, St. Louis University High School, and STAGES Performing Arts Academy. Love to wife, Lori, and kids, Xavier and Kalia!

Lori Barrett-Pagano (Music Director & Managing Director) (she/her) is a CoFounder of GCPA. She earned her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Washington University in St. Louis. She has been teaching voice for over 25 years – currently as an adjunct voice faculty at St. Louis University, as well as voice and classes at GCPA. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity. Professionally, Lori has performed with The MUNY, STAGES St. Louis, Union Avenue Opera, Echo Theatre, Spotlight Theatre, MainStage Musicals and SIUE Summer Showbiz. Regional credits include The Minnesota Opera, North Star Opera, Minneapolis Musical Theatre, Theatre in the Round, and The Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company. Stephanie Fox (Choreographer and Artistic Director, Props) (she/her) is originally from Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Music: Music Theatre and continued her studies independently in New York. s a proud member of Actors’ Equity (Stephanie Long) she has performed regionally, on National tour and in New York. In St. Louis, Stephanie has taught at COCA, STAGES, and choreographed for 8 years at Chaminade College Prep along with numerous professional choreography credits. This ones for The Shawnee's - Where's all the guys, Hairspray chips, Howdown dresses and all.

Who's Who Cortney Piepenburg (Stage Manager) is incredibly excited to be working on her first show with GCPA! She originally hails from Wisconsin, where she earned her BFA in Theatre from Viterbo University.

Abby Pastorello (Costume Designer Hair/Wig & Makeup Designer) is the current resident Costume Designer for STLCC, Meramec Theatre. She wants to thank her loved ones for their endless love and support in pursuing her passion.

She is ​ an Instructor of Theatre and Health & Sports Sciences at Missouri Baptist University. She has participated in over fifty productions over the last ten years, ranging from community to collegiate to professional. Some of her favorite roles include The Sour Kangaroo (Seussical the Musical TYA), Lisa (Falling), and Cinderella (Into the Woods). Her favorite design and directing credits include Newsies! (costume design), Anything Goes (costume design), The Drowning Girls direction; KCACTF Region V commendation for Best Directing), and, obviously, Into the Woods (costume design) with GCPA. George Shea (Set Designer) is a St. Louis based multi disciplined designer, with experience in creative direction, scenic design, prop and costume design, design solutions,

and communication services for a wide variety of high-profile clients from initial conceptualization to the final product.

George has been designing for G​CPA since 2021 with The Wizard of Oz​,​ Oliver, Ragtime, 9 to 5​, Willy Wonka, Newsies, and A​ Christmas Story​, to name a few; Chaminade Preparatory School - Diary of a​ Wimpy Kid, Puffs, The Alibis, A Christmas Carol, Little Shop of Horrors,​ and Oklahoma; additional theater companies include - Marquette High School;​ Fly North Theatricals; NGTC/Vivre’ Theatre; West End Players Guild; Bluff City​ Theater; Motion Express School of Dance and Acrobatics since 1991.

Carole Ann Miller (Marketing) is an actor, director, teacher, and marketing coordinator based in the St. Louis area. She holds a BFA in Acting from Southeast Missouri State University, and an MFA in Theatre Pedagogy from the University of Idaho. She most recently was a featured actor in the Southeast tour of Phantasmagoria XVI: Hauntingly Whimsical Tales, and she continues a national tour of Poe: Through the Tales, Darkly this year. Locally, Carole Ann has performed on the Gateway Arch Riverboats, on the Streets of St. Charles, and the St. Charles Library system. She has been happy to share her experiences on the stage with her students across the metro area, with teaching credits at GCPA, OTW, Metro Theatre Co, and several schools in the St. Louis and St. Charles area.

Carole Ann has enjoyed bringing her creative ideas to life in marketing for GCPA!

BAND Alerica L. Anderson (Bass) is a singer, songwriter, composer, producer and creative director. He has been Music Director/ Keyboardist / Bassist for several productions including The Tap Dance Kid, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Mary Poppins, Shrek, Hairspray, In The Heights, Violet, Carrie, Matilda, Annie, Spring Awakening, Something Rotten, A Chorus Line, Aida, and the Pre-Broadway Premiere of The Karate Kid. As an actor, Alerica’s performance credits include Big Moe (Five Guys Named Moe / The Black Rep). He has also written and produced songs for several performing artists.

Who's Who Tim Clark (Keys) has done over 100 productions in the past 15 years (This is his 106th!) He has performed with the Alpha Players, Young Peoples Theatre, Kirkwood Theatre Guild, Overdue Theatre, GCPA, Ignite, and many others. He served as Music Director for SPOTLIGHT from 20172022 and Music Director for the musicals at Nerinx HS from 2023-2025. He served as Director of Music / Organist at Church of The Master, UCC from 2011-2023, as well as Organist at Holy Infant RC Church since 2017. He currently is the Minister of Music at First Congregational Church of St. Louis.

Mat Coble (Guitar) has played classical guitar for 20 of his 26 years. He began branching out into pit orchestras in high school, and by the time he graduated from Northwestern University in 2022, he was playing electric, acoustic, bass, banjo, and mandolin — just about anything with frets and strings. His time there also provided him with music direction and orchestration experience. He has played in many musicals across the St. Louis area, most recently Legally Blonde. He teaches guitar with Childbloom in St. Peters and Kirkwood, working alongside the same instructors he first learned from.

Peter Gunn (Percussion) is a St. Louis based drummer and percussionist. He recently spent the last year and a half performing for Disney Cruise Line aboard the Disney Wish as a musician. He will be returning to DCL on the Disney Treasure in September. This is Peter’s 18th production with GCPA. He is currently an Operations Lead for Team Nissan at Ansira Inc. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Lindenwood University where he studied for five years.

He now lives in Maryland Heights with his partner, Peter, and his dog, Colby. Brandon is excited for his 5th GCPA show.

J.D. Tolman (Reeds) fled his home state of Utah in 1998 and made a new home in St. Louis. His college sampler pack included Utah State University, SIU Edwardsville, and UMSL studying music theory and composition. In addition to performing with theaters around town for the last 20 years, he has also performed professionally with Perseverance Theater and Orpheus Project Opera Company in Juneau Alaska.

J.D. also works as a woodwind repair technician. He would like to thank his husband Eric for the generous gift of patience putting up with the expense of a woodwind doubler who also dabbles in brass and virtual instruments. J.D. has been playing with GCPA since 2015.
