Sea Fresh is a leading company of importing, producing and distributing all kinds of fish. Our young and motivated employees closely work together in order to offer our customers the best the sea has to offer. Our employees are connoisseurs who know and appreciate good quality fresh fish. They have a great interest in the business and the product. We do not only provide fish, but also try to inspire our customers and think about how fish can be properly presented. Innovation, sustainability, reliability, passion and quality are our daily incentives for serving our customers in the best possible way.
Our range includes North Sea fish, farmed fish, freshwater fish, shellfish and exotic fish species, ensuring a variety of choice for wholesalers and supermarkets. After buying straight from the source, all processing is done in our production facility. We personally see to filleting, portioning and gutting the fish. Sea Fresh has a special filleting line for Cod and Pike-perch.

Yellowfin tuna Yellowfin tuna is our speciality, and Sea Fresh indirectly serves a large part of the Dutch sushi market. In order to ensure customers always receive a top quality product, Sea Fresh has their own BRC-certified tuna factory in Sri Lanka. Through this factory we supply tuna fillet in any way the customer desires: so custom-made! In addition, we purchase from the Maldives, Philippines and Vietnam.

Our responsibility We would love to see that future generations can continue to enjoy this fine product, which is why in 2010, Sea Fresh together with WWF initiated a project to stimulate handline-caught tuna in the Philippines. Our goal is to create more sustainable tuna fisheries in the Philippines. The project only works with small-scale fishers and local authorities, supporting thousands of fishers and families. The project is of great social significance for both tuna fishing and the local population. In 2017, the full-assessment track for MSC will start, and we expect full MSC certification in 2018. With this project we hope to become an example and inspiration to tuna fisheries in all oceans.

Spoilt for choice Products We are working with sustainable fish species from all corners of the world, in order to be able to offer as wide a variety as possible. Salmon, sustainably farmed in the Norwegian Fjords, cod caught around Iceland and Norway, shrimps farmed in Vietnam, plaice from our own North Sea; the best quality and caught or farmed in accordance with MSC and ASC guidelines.
Innovation With our own product development, Sea Fresh Retail is able to constantly provide the retailer with innovative and distinguishing capacity. We have an extensive vision, and offer a wide variety of fish, from beautiful natural fish species to luxury fish oven dishes and from barbecue products to fried fish.
Packaging We develop and manufacture both under private label and as our own brand. There are many packing options, from plastic to aluminium trays and from bags to cardboard boxes.
Sea Fresh Retail In 2010, Sea Fresh established a retail division for unique fish concepts. Sea Fresh Retail develops and produces a complete selection of fresh and frozen fish products for supermarkets at home and abroad. Sea Fresh gained a new factory in 2015 that meets the highest standards of quality and hygiene. Our factory is therefore IFS Higher Level certified. Sea Fresh Retail isn’t just a manufacturer, we like to act as partner. We offer our customers recommendations concerning assortment, sustainability and marketing. In short: Sea Fresh Retail makes it as easy and convenient as can be!
