You will now be able to log in

If you would like to create a HEP for a patient: 1. Navigate to: https://www.hep2go.com/ 2. Click “Enter”, “I Agree”, and “Enter” again 3. Choose “Exercises” at the top left 4. Search for exercises you would like to add to the patient’s HEP 5. Add to the HEP by clicking the “+” button 6. When you’ve added all the exercises you want, click the check mark on the bottom right corner 7. Update any information you would like (description, reps, etc.)

8. When done with the HEP, click the “print” button on the lower right 9. When the print box pops up, click “print”

BEFORE YOUR FIRST DAY 1. Your CI will reach out to you to introduce themselves 2. Make sure to complete your Student Confidentiality and HIPAA forms through DocuSign 3. Schedule You will follow your CI’s schedule You may work some Saturday shifts depending on your clinic location 4. Dress Code Polo shirt Work pants (khakis, black pants, etc.)

Closed-toed shoes Mask 5. Computer Since this is your first or second clinical affiliation, you should not need to bring a computer since you will not be taking on your own caseload.

You can use your CI’s computer to practice documenting and navigating the EMR system.

All patients will be on your CI’s schedule and they can gradually give you more patients based on your CPI requirements.

SINCE THIS IS YOUR FIRST OR SECOND ROTATION, YOU WILL BE OBSERVING AND WORKING WITH PATIENTS ON YOUR INSTRUCTOR’S SCHEDULE. IN ORDER TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL ROTATION, PLEASE BE PREPARED TO PRACTICE: Your organization of subjective exams for Initial Evaluations Taking objective measurements such as ROM with a goniometer, manual muscle testing, assessing gait, and more!

Teaching and cueing different therapeutic exercises alongside your instructor Educating patients and/or caregivers on body mechanics and different functional activities

TPG Bay Area Student Intern 5-Star Experience (3rd Year) Our goal is to create high-quality, challenging, and valuable clinical experiences for our student interns. We expect you to come ready to work hard to develop your skillset. You may get homework and we expect this to be done fully and on time. We are looking to guide your growth as a clinician, but you will only get out of this experience what you put in.

WEEK 1 Onboarding/Orientation Make sure you can log into your TPG email EMR Start learning the EMR system (navigation and documentation) Refer to Raintree Documentation/Navigation handout Subjective Exams Work on your flow/organization for taking a history WEEK 2 Objective Exams Work on flow for different body parts You may have homework assignments on this; come prepared to discuss these assignments during mentorship times Continue EMR training

WEEK 3 Analysis, Assessment, Prognosis, Diagnosis By this point, you should be able to perform a subjective exam proficiently You may still have homework assignments to refine your objective exams If appropriate, your CI may have you perform parts of initial evaluations (or the whole thing!) while they watch WEEK 4 Interventions Focus on prescription and dosage of exercises Your CI will help to expand your intervention strategies for different patients WEEK 5 & BEYOND Up to you and your CI! You should be getting more comfortable with taking on more patients on your schedule/CI’s schedule Continue to identify areas of weakness, go over cases with your CI to grow your clinical reasoning HELPFUL TIPS Your CI will have topics in mind for mentorship, but feel free to request specific topics that you are interested in or need help with 60 minutes of mentorship per week will be blocked off, but utilize any open spots in the schedule for mentorship as well CPI Done at the mid-point and final week of the rotation

There are a few parking spots directly in front of the clinic, however, we would like to reserve them for patients.

The parking lot opens up in front of Giorgio's and Staples, feel free to park anywhere in that portion of the lot.

We have 1 entrance into the clinic where you can enter.

Clinic Address 88 Rowland Way, Suite 250 Novato, CA 94945 Parking/Directions: Since we are a large commercial building, we ask that you park on the right side of the building. There are plenty of free parking spaces in the parking lot.

Enter the front entrance of the building and walk up the stairs to Suite 250.

Sport & Spine Therapy of Marin (San Anselmo) General Clinic Information Sport and Spine is a partner of Therapy Partners Group (TPG), a company that was started in Modesto, CA. Clinic Address 220 Greenfield Ave. San Anselmo, CA 94960 Parking/Directions: We have 4 designated spaces on the left side of the building. These are first come, first served spaces but if you park here, you must park in spots marked "Sport and Spine".

If none of those spaces are available, then you will want to park on Greenfield, but in the residential area to the East of the clinic.

To get there, proceed to the left of the clinic on Greenfield, passing Elan Fitness, and go through the stop sign approximately 300 ft to the residential area. There is all-day parking here.

Napa Valley Physical Therapy (Soscol) General Clinic Information Napa Valley is a partner of Therapy Partners Group (TPG), a company that was started in Modesto, CA. Clinic Address 433 Soscol, Suite B191 Napa, CA 94559 Parking/Directions: Coming Northbound on Highway 29, take the Imola exit. Turn Right onto W Imola Ave. Turn Left on Gasser Drive.

Make another Left onto Peatman Drive. The Gasser Building is the first driveway on your right. You can park anywhere in this lot, except the spots closest to the entrance (we reserve those for patients).

Enter the building and turn right. Our office is the first door on the left and our gym is the first door on the right.

Napa Valley Physical Therapy (Claremont) General Clinic Information Napa Valley is a partner of Therapy Partners Group (TPG), a company that was started in Modesto, CA. Although we are called Napa Valley PT, we are “powered by Therapy Partners Group.” We partnered with TPG in July 2020, which has allowed our company to grow and expand in many ways.

Clinic Address 3273 Claremont Way Suite 101 Napa, CA 94558 Parking/Directions: Trancas/ Redwood exit from Hwy 29. Turn right off of the freeway, then take a right onto Claremont. Our building is on the right just past the Kaiser facility. Walk through the Orthopedic office to come into Suite 101. Parking is available on the street which provides more spaces for patients in the parking lot. Every space counts because there are several medical providers in this building.

Clinic Address 1009 Alamo Dr. Vacaville, CA 95688 Parking/Directions: Enter off of Marshall Street near the Walmart neighborhood market Once in the parking lot, take a right and head towards the jack in the box. We are at the furthest end of the parking lot past the Jack in the Box and next to a barber shop.

You will see the Body in Balance banner. There is community parking, please don't park too close as we like to save those spots for our patients.
