1 THEPRESIDENT

In addition to the rights and duties prescribed in any of the paragraphs of the Statute, the President has the following rights and duties:

a) The President convenes the GeneralMeetings and the meetings of the EC and presides over these meetings.

b) He will have a right to exercise the casting vote.

c) He reports on behalf of the EC to the various General Meetings.

d) Together with the Secretary, he monitors and ensures the strict compliance with the provisions ofthe Statute andbylawsandofanyregulationsenactedbyvirtueoftheprovisions ofthe Statute

e) The President represents the MTA in its official activities and, as much as possible, will do this together with another ECM.

f) The President, with the approval of the EC, can delegate some of his functions to a member of the EC or a commission/board which reports back to the EC.

g) The President and the Treasurer shall be the only officials to sign or issue cheques or to transfer any amount of money both locally or abroad and shall be the only persons to represent the MTA, to deal and authorize any financial agreements with the banks, other entities, or organizations. The Secretary replaces either the President or the Treasurer should these be indisposed due to extraordinary reasons and payments need to be done in their absence.

2 THESECRETARY

In addition to the rights and duties prescribed in any of the paragraphs of the Statute, the Secretary has the following rights and duties:

a) The Secretary shall plan, perform, and manage secretariat affairs regarding the organisation and operations of the MTA and other general affairs.

b) The Secretary shall take the minutes of all EC meetings which reflect a true recordof the meetings and have these distributed to the ECM within one week of the meeting so that these can be amendedorapprovedby the next EC meeting. Once approved, the Secretaryshall distribute these minutes to the affiliate and associatemembers through their academies/clubs.

c) The Secretary shall take the minutes of all General Meetings which reflect a true record of the meetings and have these distributed to the affiliate and associate members through their academies/clubs within one month of the meeting so that these can be amended or approved by the next General Meeting.

d) The Secretary will ensure to submit all reports and documentation required by the national and international authorities in the required time frames.

e) The Secretary shall keep a proper record of all correspondence received including that through digital media.

3 THETREASURER

In addition to the rights and duties prescribed in any of the paragraphs of the Statute, the Treasurer has the following rights and duties:

a) The Treasurer shall control the financial situation of the MTA.

b) The Treasurer shall be responsible for collecting all income due to the MTA

c) The Treasurer shall ensure that all expenditure is approved according to the Statute.

d) The Treasurer shall submit an up-to-date financial report, on a quarterly basis to the EC.

e) The Treasurer shall submit an annual financial report to the General Meeting.

4 OTHERDUTIES

The EC shall nominate one of its committee members to perform the duties of a Registrar/ Administrator.

a) The Registrar/Administrator shall administer, compile, and update the list of all incoming and outgoing assets of the MTA in an inventory register. This inventory register shall include, but not be limited to, all assets of which the MTA has ownership of and that are in use, borrowed or distributed to the MTA’s officials, members and academies/clubs and other entity/person to whom such asset is being lent.

b) The Registrar/Administrator shall supervise the handover of assets from one person to another and to report to the EC about assets that are missing, damaged or obsolete.

c) The Registrar/Administrator shall keep a list of all past and present members and their grades, and shall prepare and issue BUDO passes to all members after liaising with the EC.

d) The Registrar/Administrator shall be the National Global Membership System Administrator and he will be the main responsible person to communicate with the WT GMS Team. He will be responsible for registering/renewing MTA members.

e) The Registrar/Administrator shall be responsible for ensuring the provisions of the Data Protection Policy.
