Ourbelovedhusband,father,brother,coach,andfriend haspeacefullyenteredintoeternalrest.HewasbornMay 16,1980,inHampton,VA,toHowardTuckerandSharon Johnson.Heleavestocherishhismemory:hiswife,Alexis; threeofthe“illest”children,Jalon,Shantell(Christina Lewis),andTitus;hisfather,HowardTucker;onebrother, TerenceWalker;ahostofaunts,uncles,andcousins.

Hewasprecededindeathbyhismother, Sharon Johnson.
Heleavesbehindawidecircleofdevotedfriends,loyal clients,cherishedteammates,andacommunity foreverchangedbyhiswarmth,wisdom,and unwaveringspirit.CoachStevewasacornerstone ofhiscommunity,knownbothasaskilledbarber andadedicatedcoach.
Formanyyears,hisbarberchairwasmorethan justaplaceforhaircuts—itwasaneighborhood gatheringspotfilledwithconversation,laughter, anddebates.Justashecaredforhisclients,he pouredhisheartintocoachingyouthbasketball, shapingnotonlyathletesbutstrong,respectful youngmen.
Whetheronthecourtorbehindthechair, CoachStevewasamentor,arolemodel,and afriend.Hispassionforsports,strongwork ethic,andabilitytomakeeveryonefeel motivatedandinspiredleftalastingmark oneveryonewhohadtheprivilegeof knowinghim.
Onthosedayswhenyoumiss someonethemostasthough yourmemoriesaresharp enoughtoslicethroughskinand bone,rememberhowtheyloved you. Rememberhowtheyloved you,anddothatforyourself. Intheirname,intheirhonour.
Loveyourselfasthey lovedyou. Theywouldlikethat. Onthosedayswhen youmisssomeone themostlove yourselfharder.
