Consecration Invitation For FLAME

To Well Wishers of Reverend Doctor Dwight S. Riddick, Sr. The Board of Directors and the Members of F.L.A.M.E. with the blessings of the Leaders and Members of the Gethsemane Baptist Church, Newport News, Virginia are seeking the Elevation of the Reverend Doctor Dwight S. Riddick, Sr. to the office of Bishop.

F.L.A.M.E. is an organization that was established in 2010 for the purpose of supporting, developing, and mentoring pastoral leadership. It is comprised of Pastors at large who have sought mentoring from Doctor Riddick.

Doctor Riddick has provided stellar leadership for the F.L.A.M.E. organization and its Pastors, the Hampton University Ministers’ Conference and the Gethsemane Baptist Church during his thirty-six year tenure.

Therefore, having watched and observed his life and ministry, we the members of F.L.A.M.E. are honored to announce his election as a candidate for the Office of Bishop of The Lord’s Church.

F.L.A.M.E. is making a formal request that a college of Bishops convene on November 13, 2021 to publicly examine Doctor Dwight S. Riddick, Sr. for public Consecration.

The Consecration will be open to the public without fees. Each Attendees must wear a masks at all times. Given Doctor Riddick’s involvement in the larger business, civic and faith community, F.L.A.M.E. wishes to extend an opportunity for his well-wishers to support and participate in this momentous occasion.
