“It’s A Jersey Party”

Jersey Malia Washington, affectionately known as “B “Backpack,” and “Jersey Girl,” was born on March 4, in Austell, Georgia, to her loving parents, Janell Washington and Corby Maxwell. On February 23, 2026, Arthur M. Blank Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Geo Jersey was called home to be one of God’s most spec angels.

Though her time on earth was brief, Jersey’s life w filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable joy. brought tremendous happiness and light to everyone around her.Jersey had a vibrant personality—she was yet classy, with a radiant smile that could truly l any room.

Jersey attended Hendricks Elementary in Powder Spri Georgia. She loved to dance, talk about fashion, ea fruit, and most of all, enjoy a good seafood boil. baby girl of the family, she was deeply cherished.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Tracy Carter Jr., and his wife, Emily Carter, and her Unc Desmond Stiff.

Left to celebrate her precious memories are her dev parents, Janell Washington and Corby Maxwell; her grandparents, Rev. Tracy Carter Sr., Janet Carter, Tessa Watts-McMutry; her great-grandmother, Willie Watts; and her beloved siblings, Anaysha Maxwell, A Washington, Janiya Washington, Santana Washington, Mason Washington.

She also leaves behind a host of loving aunts and u including Juanice Washington-Crocker (Darius), Juan Washington, Willie Washington (Lorey), and Charles III (Jasmine), Monte Washington, Felicia Carter, and Ashley Washington (Dominique), along with a host of cousin extended family members, and dear friends.

Memories of you will never fade away, You were our funny, sassy girl, So beautiful in every way.

Though your time with us was far too short, The love you gave will always stay. In quiet moments and gentle smiles, We feel you close each day.

As long as our hearts remember, You will never be apart. Forever our precious Jersey, Forever in our hearts.
