Welcome TO THE ANNUAL CHESTNUT ANGUS PRODUCTION SALE
I would like to welcome you all to our Annual Bull Sale. Thank you, friends, old, current, and new customers for taking the time to look through this year’s offering. I certainly understand it gets said every year, but I truly believe this is the best set of bulls we have ever raised that we are offering for your consideration. We continue to strive to always be progressive, and produce the best product for our customers, and I feel as though we have done that this year. I feel as though there are bulls and females in this offering for everybody. We focus on producing bulls that will add vigor and pounds to your calf crop, without sacrificing maternal traits for replacements including structural integrity and disposition. We also strive for added phenotype so that you receive top dollar when selling your cattle, along with carcass merit to earn those premiums when sent to the rail. An important point and something that people don’t maybe realize is that 99% of the cattle in this year’s offering are natural calves raised by their dam. There is only 1 ET calf on the entire offering. We’re very proud that our cowherd has been able to generate a set of cattle like we are offering this year. We focus on several important genetic and physical characteristics especially foot quality, udder quality, and docility which has allowed us to be where we are today. If they don’t meet those requirements, they don’t last long here. I mention this this year because I believe it’s important that to make our cattle better, and the industry better, these things need to be very important regardless of if you are a purebred or commercial cattleman. I am confident this set of bulls will inject a lot of these important traits into your calf crop and can take your operation to the next level. I would like to thank you all for your continued support and interest in our program. We are proud of this set of cattle, excited for their future, and excited as the next generation is hitting the ground now. I would like to thank my family for everything they do to keep this operation running like a well-oiled machine. We all have different rolls throughout the operation, and it takes all of us to make sure everything gets accomplished. Thank you to my friends, customers, and supporters of Chestnut Angus. We all know it takes a lot of people at different times of the year to make everything work, and your help and support is greatly appreciated. This year the cattle market has been good for everyone. It’s time to trade in those older herd bulls for a new and fresh set of genetics that will ultimately add value to your program. When you consider the value of the feeder cattle in the marketplace being sold by the pound, the added pounds a performance driven bull will add to that calf crop justifies the initial expense of that bull, and in turn will ultimately add more dollars to your pocket. That bull’s initial expense will then show a tremendous Return on Investment and make your operation more profitable, which ultimately is the bottom line in the cattle business. We encourage anyone and everyone to stop by the farm anytime to check out this year’s offering and please reach out to any of us with any questions you may have. Thanks again for your consideration and we hope to see you on Sunday February 25th at the farm in Pipestone, MN.
ALL REGISTERD ANGUS BULLS HAVE BEEN GENOMIC TESTED THROUGH ANGUS GS, AS WELL AS PARENT VERIFIED AND TESTED FOR ALL NECESSARY GENETIC DEFECTS!

VIEW & BID ON DV AUCTION
DEAR CATTLEMEN & WOMEN, There is one big change for Chestnut and their Bull Sale in 2024! After last year’s postponement of the sale due to just one of the many snow days to come from the Winter of 2022-23, and the success and positive feedback that came from the Sunday date, we have decided to go the same route for 2024! It will be our pleasure to welcome you to Pipestone on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 25th for an afternoon of fellowship and elite Angus seedstock. This just gives customers and their loved ones another opportunity to enjoy the tremendous hospitality of the Johnson family. They are some of the most driven people in the business, and they offer a world class product that is built from generations of focusing on maximizing the success and profits of anyone that invests in a breeding piece. These are cattleman that don’t source the funds elsewhere to back a hobby in the cattle business, or just enjoy ranching on the weekends when it’s convenient, but a family operation that realizes the importance of caring for the land, developing their breeding program and battles with the day to day hardships of raising crops and livestock in an ever changing environment and market. What you see today as the CN brand has been built solely through a dedication to performance Angus seedstock and fulfilling the needs of a growing customer base. The 2024 crop of bulls outshine previous groups from the perspective of combination cattle that excel not just on foot but through every method of evolution. Chestnut is truly molding the program, and the stock towards the ‘Angus cattle that combine bannerwinning phenotype with breed-leading genomics’ motto that is in place. The bulls that are cataloged in the latter pages of this sale book represent not just this past year’s accomplishments, but generations of meticulous selection, miles of genetic research, dollars of investment, hours of management and lives of dedication. The quality of phenotype and genotype you will find, hasn’t come by luck or chance, but is a shining example of what can be achieved by sticking to an objective, and never settling, because there have been big stepping stones to get to this point. There are potentially industry leading herd sires that will sell in this 2024 edition of the Chestnut Angus Bull Sale, but this is a program that you can tie to with confidence in knowing that the best is yet to come. Even with the successes and accolades this program has already gathered, it may still be in its infancy as the drivers of the future are as eager, talented and motivated about the Angus business as you will find. We could not endorse the Chestnut Angus program any more highly. Glenn, Sherri, Wesly & Dawson Johnson and the family like crew they associate with, continue to develop one of the most powerful Angus cowherds in America. The program they have built is geared towards those cattlemen and women who would prefer to build a long-term relationship with their genetic suppliers, they are setup to grow their cowherd alongside their customers, requiring for success on either side of the equation. We truly believe that stockmen regardless of production methods or selection criteria will find something to fit their needs in this offering. Please feel free to reach out to any member of the Innovation AgMarketing team, or the Chestnut crew with any questions or queries any time leading up to the NEW SALE DAY on SUNDAY FEBRUARY 25th. Enjoy the cattle,
Graham Blagg Tim Anderson Jered Shipman

• The success of Deer Valley Growth Fund on the Chestnut Angus cowherd is unquestionable. For several breeding seasons he has produced at the highest level, with multiple sale highlights and high sellers, yet Chestnut Growth Fund 683 emerges as most definitely one of the best yet. • Truly a phenotypic and genetic standout of the contemporary group. Regardless of where you start your inspection you will find quality with this heavy weaning, big growth standout. He impressively recorded 4 lbs. per day of growth between birth and weaning, and sports top 1% WW, YW, CW and $F EPD figures. He measured with a 975 lbs. adjusted weaning weight that goes on to dictate his 116 WWR. • Turn to his pedigree to find a dominate force in the cowherd, Chestnut Wetonka 785 a female who had already weaned a Denver Bull in 2023 being Chestnut Regiment 972 that sold for $12,000 to Dan Pike. The Wetonka cow family is no stranger to the limelight for the Chestnut program, and is responsible for a long list of the most recognizable and successful breeding stock to come out of Pipestone.

• Chestnut United 93 offers the lowest actual birthweight of any of the bulls that made the trip to the National Western, but a quick inspection of his current day impressive stature would make it hard to believe. He is certainly a stout built, extra heavy muscled, wide based and round bodied herd sire prospect that impressed those who made it through the pen in Denver. • His maternal granddam, Chestnut WJ Lady 667 is a Pathfinder verified producer that stems back to the cornerstone producer, DS 3726 Freedom Lady 65 CW. Freedom Lady 65 is a female that has had a massive influence on the maternal power of the cowherd. • As his impressive physical attributes would attest, the Chestnut United son records a data set that reflects he will most definitely be the promoter of added growth and pounds when his progeny run over the scale. You will find he ranks top 3% for WW & YW, top 5% CW & $F, top 10% MW and top 15% YH, HP & $F.

• The first sons of Hoffman Thedford have done nothing but impress at every stage of development. We have always had high anticipations for his service ever since inspecting him at stud, yet the proof is in the pudding here, as you will find with both his sons that made the trip to the NWSS, and those that held the home front down they are consistently high quality and cattle that are right for the times. • The genetic combination that Chestnut Thedford 973 brings to the table is absolutely elite, he combines a top 4% CED number with top 2% WW & YW ranking figures. From a curve bending perspective, he is most definitely one of the most elite to ever carry the CN brand. • Additional to the incredible flip from calving ease to massive growth traits you will find he sports a top 15% YH, MW, $B & $M, top 10% RADG & MH, top 5% Foot Angle, top 2% SC and top 1% CW, $W & $F. • A program building, first generation EPD corrector that is bound to make an impressive splash for the programs who make the invest in the future of their cowherd with this all-around, high-quality herd bull.

• Chestnut United 53 has been a standout from a growth and power standpoint since day one. When he came to the weaning pen he smashed down on the scale with over 1000 lbs. and he has emerged as an absolute outlier among the group, there is no question that his influence will potently inject mass improvements of growth and performance genetics to an operation with goals of increasing scale pressure. • Supported by the TR MS Celeste 5734C ET female that was Wesly’s Grand Champion Angus Female at the 2017 South Dakota Angus Futurity you can entrust that the phenotype you will find here is heredity. A maternal brother to the dam of Lot 4 is the Chestnut Jagger 620 herdsire that was a member of the historic, 2021 Cattleman’s Congress Champion Pen of 3 Bulls and sold at the Black Hills Stock Show for $19,500 to Mangan Angus Ranch of Broadus, Montana.

• The added length of spine, front end extension, expressive stifle and impressive muscle shape of Chestnut Benchmark 503 helped propel his status to a crowd favorite of those who went through the bulls at the NWSS. Even though he was member of the Reserve Grand Champion Carload at the 2024 National Western Stock Show, there is lots of real-world quality and feature that a cattleman or woman will appreciate. • He is a maternal brother to Chestnut Connect 32 that was purchased by Craig Gana of Nebraska for $18,500 in the 2023 Bull Sale. • He weaned off his picture-perfect, herd bull generating S A V Bismarck 5682 dam to ratio a 106. His dam stems from the prolific Blackbird cow family that has become a staple cow family for America’s most progressive Angus seedstock providers.

• The first sons of the $50,000 Chestnut Haus 231 will sell! 231 was the high selling, Square B Atlantis 8060 son that Dennis Moore purchased in the 2022 Bull Sale, who has quickly proven his value as a breeding bull with the impressive set of first sons that will sell in this sale. • Chestnut Haus 603 is extra burly in his body and muscle pattern, he is one of the bigger patterned, most rugged built bulls in the pen. • He is maternally powered by the Erica cow family that has been a reliable producer of both scale shakers and impressive mothers. His maternal granddam, Chestnut WJ Erica 410 has yielded several maternal sisters to the dam of Lot 7 that have become integral members of the cowherd, quality runs in the family here.

• We believe this is the KR Storm 900 son that we have always been waiting for! Truly one of the heaviest muscled, long spined, thick topped bulls we have raised to this point. Chestnut Storm 913 is packed full of roar power and red meat. He too has excelled from a growth perspective, packing on pounds and showing impressive growth from the onset. • Chestnut Storm 913 comes with an impressive pedigree to match his phenotype, as he is a maternal brother to the high selling feature from our 2021 sale, and member of the Champion Pen of 3 at the 2021 Cattleman’s Congress, Chestnut United. He has since matured into one of the most impressive mature bulls you could lay your eyes on and has obviously proven himself in the breeding pasture with sons highlighting the past two editions of this sale, including the one right across the page. • With predictions for growth and the backing of generations of cow power, this is an opportunity add profit straight back into your pocket.

• Chestnut United continues to stamp his dominance in the bull pen here at Chestnut Angus. We love the design of Chestnut United 13, being extra square and wide at the ground, big footed, wide backed, bold middled and still eye appealing, the kind we set our phenotypic goals around. • He comes with the most modest birthweight of the United sons at 70 lbs. that ratioed 92 but still came to the weaning pen with that extra pay weight that his sire group consistently showed at just shy of 1000 lbs. for his actual weaning weight to ratio a 120. We think the combination of maternal power, real world and genomic data and the extra phenotypic value make Lot 10 one you need to inspect come February 25th. In our opinion there is no scientific equation that can deny the impressive growth trends and curve bending maturity pattern of Chestnut United 13. • Absolutely a standout regardless of where you lay your selection pressure.

• Chestnut Benchmark 423 has the credentials to potently add breed leading growth into the calf crops by his service. A quick inspection of his EPD traits will expose massive 94 and 162 WW and YW figures, respectively. These numbers rank him in the top 1% of the breed for WW & $W and top 2% for YW. Interestingly he also ranks in the top third of the breed for CED and top 20% for BW. Other traits rankings top 15% or better include RADG, YH, Milk, MW, MH, Claw & CW. • There is no question that added pounds only equal added dollars in the beef business, and with the current and forecasted markets, we are being paid well for every single pound. A quick math equation will prove that some added investment on the sire end when they can add massive growth will absolutely pay dividends, not just over his lifetime but even in the first year of his service.

• One of the most elite individuals we have bred in program history, and out of a young female that also has her name on that same list. Chestnut Thedford 463 is the first son of the $88,000, Chestnut Queen Eva 133 that was purchased in the 2022 Female Sale by our good friend Dennis Moore of Illinois. He represents the absolute cutting edge of our program from an EPD, phenotype and pedigree standpoint! • The EPD tabulations that accompany Chestnut Thedford 463 are breed leading. He ranks in the top 1% of the breed for seven individual traits of importance and profitability indexes, they include, WW, YW, RADG, YH, CW, $W, and $F. These are further supported by top 4% Milk, top 3% $B and top 2% $C. This genomic outlier will have the ability to change the EPD outlook on his progeny in a single generation.
CHESTNUT QUEEN EVA 133 $88,000 DAM OF LOT 12 • More impressive is the fact that this genomic standout is also built with shape and power, so not only does he read impressive, but he has a phenotype to suffice the strictest checklists when on the search to find a herd builder. He came into the world with a 99 BWR and weaned off his first calving heifer dam with a 128 WWR! • His dam, Chestnut Queen Eva 133 was a member of the 2022 NWSS Grand Champion Pen of Heifers and was selected as a Class Winner and Reserve Division III in the Phenotype and Genotype Show at the 2022 NJAS. She traces to C N Queen Eva 56 8168, a Pathfinder dam that has earned her position as one of foundation matriarchs on the farm and the dam of 133 is a maternal sister to the $16,000 Chestnut Point Taken 180. The influence and consistency of this cow family will be instrumental in the future at Chestnut Angus Farm.

• If growth and gains are your number one priority then make sure you mark Chestnut Thedford 413 as one for definite inspection! He is an absolute brute that defines what elite growth cattle should look like. • With almost 4 lbs. of growth per day from birth to weaning, he came off his E G Eyes Onyou sired heifer dam to weigh 1025 lbs. which equates to a 126 WWR. Absolutely incredible stats that we think offer seedstock and commercial producers alike a very impressive option to add potent pounds and performance. The EPD traits certainly back up the real-world data in this instance! • Top 1% WW, YW, RADG, CW & $F. Top 2% YH & MH and top 5% or better SC, MW, $W, $B & $C.

• While Chestnut Turning Point 1293 may lack some days of age compared to the rest of the bulls that made the trip to the NWSS, he makes up for it in regards to absolute dominance on paper for his expected ability to inject pounds and pay weight. His massive 173 YW figure that ranks top 1% is sure impressive and we think he matches these projections in the flesh. Additionally he sports a 1% WW ranking and top 5% or better YH, MW, MH, CW and $F trait rankings. • He stems from a line of maternal excellence, as the Ruby line offers exceptional production in terms of females that consistently bring high quality and heavy weighing progeny to the weaning pen.
21
• Chestnut United 23 comes with a very moderate 72 lbs. birth weight that flips to 887 lbs. adjusted when he came back to the weaning pen, recording a 116 WWR. He comes with a very impressive set of curve-bending genomic figures that offer a producer some peace of mind that they can have a herd bull that will calve easy yet still increase growth and pounds when it comes time to market those same progeny. • With the backing of the legendary Sandy cow family comes the added phenotype and maternal power of the best in the business. The KR Incredible 8166 sired dam of Lot 17 is a maternal sister to the $11,000 Chestnut Growth Fund 421 that sold to Bobby Hoyt of McHenry, North Dakota in the 2022 Bull Sale. • Surefire heifer bull candidate with top 10% CED and top 3% BW figures.

• Pedigree alone should intrigue buyers here, as we have a maternal brother to both Chestnut Queen Eva 133 and Chestnut Point Taken 180. • Queen Eva 133 is the $88,000 selection of Moore Land & Cattle from the 2022 Female Sale, that would also be the dam of the sale highlighting Lot 12 from this sale, Chestnut Thedford 463. Chestnut Point Taken 180 was the $16,000 selection of Nordlund Stock Farm in the 2021 Bull Sale, long story short, there is certainly power in the blood her!
27
• You will have noticed that several sons of Hoffman Thedford made the trip to the NWSS and are cataloged at the front of this sale book, but do not let that hamper your mindset on the remaining sons that sell as Lots 31 though 35 as they are consistently good stock that have a lot to offer producers from a phenotype and data standpoint! • Chestnut Thedford 403 is built upon a wide foundation, with big feet and smooth joints, he is packed full of muscle from end to end. • The data set that comes all-inclusive with 403 shows top 15% WW, top 10% YW, RADG, SC, Claw, & CW, and then top 5% or better YH, MW, MH, Angle and $F.

• Carrying the genetic backing of Chestnut Peg 9589 WJ validates the generating potential of any animal in our opinion. She sets the gold standard of production through a set of tremendous daughters that she has left in herd, this includes the dam of Lot 33. • With only 72 lbs. at birth and maturing to almost 850 lbs. of actual weaning weight we sure think he offers lots of versatility to a breeding program. • He ranks top 15% for WW and top 20% for YW. His $M, $W and $F profitability indexes all rank top 15% or better.

• A very acceptable heifer bull candidate is found in Chestnut Thedford 643. His Chestnut Redemption 38 sired dam stems from the maternal excellence of the Queen Lucy cow family that is recognized around the business for their production quality! • His 12 CED number ranks in the top 10% of the breed and his -0.6 BW figure ranks him top 20% of the breed.
• While an in-person inspection of Chestnut Thedford 103 will reveal that he sports impressive growth, it is important to take note that he first and foremost offers some very impressive calving ease predications. He himself came unassisted with a remarkably light 56 lbs. birthweight, and then went on to then wean off his VZR Diamond Jack 1905 sired dam with a 109 WWR. • 3The genomics back up this incredible curve bending growth trend with EPD predictions of top 10% CED and then top 25% BW, WW and YW. Across the board he sports 15 different traits that rank in the top 35% of the breed or better, so he would certainly be an all-around asset to add to the breeding program.

• It is no secret that the Deer Valley Growth Fund sired stock have been well received at Chestnut Angus, and for good reason because he is as consistent of a producer of real-world performance cattle that still have cowboy kind phenotype that you will find. • Here we find a similar situation to Lot 36 in his EPD predictions, but perhaps offering even a shot more favorable real world growth trend! There is no catch-22 situation here, as the service of Chestnut Growth Fund 743 can result in both minimal stress calving seasons with bigger paydays when calves ship off to market.
• Chestnut Growth Fund 1133 rounds out the impressive set of ranch ready, dense built and easy keeping Deer Valley Growth Fund sons. One thing that remains constant throughout the group is that they have high accuracies for curve bending growth figures, are industry approved, and make for happy cowboys from coast to coast. • The Mill Brae Benchmark 9016 sired cattle born in Pipestone have proved that there is no need to doubt the growth and performance that comes with his influence! Chestnut Benchmark 133 leads of a strong set of paternal brothers. Interestingly every single one of the fourteen Benchmark 9016 sons in the sale records a WWR of over 100 and in fact a large majority of these are over a 110 WWR, there is not more damning proof than that of real-world data. • 133 floats to the top of his sire group because of his combination of impressive phenotype, and fool proof genomic dataset. He is rugged in his structural build, burly in his body composition and impressive from a performance standpoint. • The curve bending growth trend of 133 begins with top 10% CED & WW, and then develops on with his top 15% WW, top 20% YW & top 25% RADG. Other highlights of his genomic package include his top 4% HP, top 10% Claw, top 20% RE, top 10% $M and top 4% $W.

• You will notice the massive weaning weights and WDA records of these Benchmark sons from the collection data we collated and in the genomic predictions that his sons read for. We have experienced the ‘proof in the pudding’ with this group of 2023 born sons, a pair of which led the conversation of visitors to our pen at the National Western Stock Show in Denver. • This rings true for Lot 41 with his 111 WWR that he recorded with the 902lb. actual weaning weight, coming off his Deer Valley Growth Fund sired dam. These numbers are reflected by his top 10% WW, top 3% YW and top 4% RADG.

A prime example of the case in point is Chestnut Bond 923, a herd sire prospect that is most definitely a phenotypically impressive specimen with his burly and dense design. • Both the genomic predictions and raw data indicate that the progeny of Chestnut Bond 923 are going to lead the pack from early on and only continue to space themselves apart from the rest of the calf crop. • This Bond 007 was impressive at weaning time, ratioing a 110, and likewise his EPD’s read impressive, with a top 4% WW ranking, top 2% YW, and top 3% RADG. On top of his growth traits other highlights on paper include his top 4% HP, top 10% MW, top 4% MH, top 1% RE, top 3% $F and top 10% $B & $C.

• This direct son of the beautiful, Chestnut Miss Wix DJ 8131 is set to be a growth promoter for his prospective operation. He would be a maternal brother to the heavy weaning Chestnut Striker 732 beast that sold to Tate and Calli Williams in the 2023 Bull Sale. • We look forward to hearing from happy customers as the progeny of Chestnut Bond 1103 hit the scales and help to add value to a calf crop. Not only do these Bond 007 sons have performance but they more than surpass the strict structural checklist each bull goes through before making the sale list here in Pipestone. CHESTNUT MISS WIX DJ 8131 DAM OF LOT 53
• Chestnut Bond 253 sports an impressive set of curve-bending stats going from a 91 BWR to a 115 WWR, we could not ask for much more out of this Sterling Bond 007 son. The genomics reveal he brings top 15% WW and YW with his service as well. • Pounds pay, and 253 will supply that and more!

• Chestnut Perfect Timing 43 is a leading calving ease specialist of the entire offering. Yet that is not the only thing that he brings to the table, because he is absolutely an impressive animal in the flesh, being big backed, and powerful, and there are members on both sides of his pedigree that suggest he will generate the type of females that will be retained in herd for years to come. • The Kramers Enforce 5006 daughter that raised Perfect Timing 43 is a testament to the maternal prowess her sire group is renowned for. He also stems back maternally to the iconic WK Winnie 5460, the maternal granddam of EXAR Pit Boss 409 and EXAR Spartan 6225. WK Winnie 5460 is also the maternal great granddam of the great C&C McKinley 3000 EXAR.

We think that the maternal quality of his progeny is extremely valuable and the set of replacements that will come from the service of Chestnut Hayday 213 will sift right into the keeper pen. • He came with a very acceptable 73 lbs. birthweight.

• There is no question about the added power and performance that the HF Safe & Sound 019 sons will deliver to the breeding pasture. We predict that their linage will add growth and pay weight in the first generation. • Their sire ranks in the elite top 1% of the breed for $Maternal while still ranking in the top 5% for $Combined. He covers all the bases and we think his sons offer plenty of options when it comes to deciding on wanting either more growth or more calving ease but still coming in a very complete phenotypic package.

• Either side of the equation comes right out of the playbook of master breeder Charles Mogck in this high-performance stud. Sired by our resident herd bull, MOGCK Barricade 1911 and out of a beautiful, young MOGCK Entice daughter you can best believe that his progeny are going to have the genetic potential for profitability! • He ranks top 5% WW, top 10% YW and top 4% $F. OMF HARD RIGHT H21 SIRE OF LOT 73
• The Simmental herd still remains very small at Chestnut, but every year a couple of special individuals come along, in 2024 you will find CNWJ Hard Right 1123L headlining the division. • Here we have a ¾ blood son of the Hartman and CK owned, $60,000 OMF Hard Right H21, a sire that continues to earn his stripes as a leader in the production orientated Simmental herd book. Maternally this H21 son stems back to a very productive S A V Brilliance 8077 daughter that we purchased from Raatz Farms. • 1123L offers a massive amount of hybrid vigor to a program with a predominately Angus blooded cows. He will provide incredible amounts of added shape, carcass and growth when used on British based cowherds. RTZ D23 MATERNAL GRANDDAM OF LOT 73

• Chestnut Peg 263 is the kind that you could build a cow family around. She excels in just about every aspect we find value in. It doesn’t matter if your inspection is in the flesh, by pedigree or on paper, she will impress. • 263 is a prime example of the reason we raise this breed, so maternal in her outline, with a running gear designed with longevity as the pinnacle. We project her udder deign to be ideal and her foot shape follows that trend. She has matured with extra horsepower and shape and we think has the pieces it takes to generate purebred seedstock of added value! • The Car Don Annuity 114 daughter ranks in the top 5% for WW, top 10% YW, top 15% RADG, top 20% MW, and top 15% $F. • She will calve to our exciting new heifer bull Raml Hometown 2778 and we think that calf will do a good job of justifying your initial investment.

• You will not see many of these Connealy Hayday daughters available for sale in the near future at Chestnut, because we love the ones we have retained! They are some of the most exciting young females that we look to build the herd around, and Chestnut Proud Lassie 248 is absolutely of the cowherd improving caliber that we are raving about. • We deem her phenotypic design as ideal for our production goals. Her structural build is authentic and will support an extended breeding tenure. Both genomically and in the real world she excels in terms of performance, and easy fleshing ability. A standout figure of her EPD tabulations is her top 4% $Maternal. • This Connealy Hayday daughter has the earliest calving date of any of the bred heifers to sell! She is a standout of the female offering when it comes to curve bending EPD traits, with top 20% of the breed rankings for both CED and BW, and then impressive top 10% WW & YW figures. Additionally she sports outstanding profitability indexes and abides by our strict checklist for quality of phenotype. • This daughter of Chestnut Georgina 8133 is a super brood cow prospect. Her dam is one that was hard to let go of in the past Fall Female Sale. She stemmed from the Barstow Cash linage, one that many cattlemen keep turning to at the breeding box, because of their easy fleshing ability, feed efficiency, mothering ability and maternal power. • Another generation back is the Jensen Georgina 677 of FAF female that was purchased in the 2017 Minnesota Aberdeen Angus Breeders Sale and was a very successful show heifer for Dawson, winning Grand Champion Angus Female in the FFA show at the Minnesota State Fair and the Minnesota State Junior Show. She is a direct daughter of the legendary Champion Hill Georgina 7229. • She will calve when the grass is getting green with a KR Detail 1299 calf, that sounds like a quick return on investment or an easy sort to the replacement pen to us.
