It can either be used in people who have never taken HIV-1 medicines before, or people who are replacing their current HIV-1 medicines and whose healthcare provider determines they meet certain requirements.

BIKTARVY does not cure HIV-1 or AIDS. HIV-1 is the virus that causes AIDS. Do NOT take BIKTARVY if you also take a medicine that contains: } dofetilide } rifampin } any other medicines to treat HIV-1

BEFORE TAKING BIKTARVY Tell your healthcare provider if you: } Have or have had any kidney or liver problems, including hepatitis infection. } Have any other health problems. } Are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. It is not known if BIKTARVY can harm your unborn baby. Tell your healthcare provider if you become pregnant while taking BIKTARVY. } Are breastfeeding (nursing) or plan to breastfeed. Do not breastfeed. HIV-1 can be passed to the baby in breast milk.

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take: } Keep a list that includes all prescription and over-the-counter medicines, antacids, laxatives, vitamins, and herbal supplements, and show it to your healthcare provider and pharmacist. } BIKTARVY and other medicines may affect each other. Your immune system may get stronger and begin to fight infections. Lost in a Moment Patrick Colson-Price It seems at every circuit party event I attend, I always lock my eyes on that one person lost in a moment of pure bliss, from the heart-pounding music and laser light shows beaming down from above them. It happened last weekend while at the Heretic, and I made a mental note in my head that I had to write about it for my upcoming editorial. It’s moments like these that we can really learn something from those around us.

We came to the Heretic a little later in the evening and as soon as we entered, the music hit us like a ton of bricks! Our friend, DJ Thiago Oliveria, knows how to throw it down, and it really brings music fanatics out on weekends they’d usually be laying low at home. We made our way to the dancefloor just as the music picked up, and out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a guy sitting on a set of speakers shaking his head like a bobblehead doll. Many might pass him by

and think he’s just high out of his mind (he might’ve been), but seconds later, he was up on his feet dancing like it was his last night on earth. Ahhhhh, it made me smile! It’s like the music ran through his bones and flowed through his veins, and with every beat, you could tell he was living his best life!

Forget what he’s going through outside of those four walls at the club. This guy left it all at the door and came to leave it all on the dance floor. Within seconds of his heart-pounding dance-for-your-life routine, he was sitting back on the speaker patiently waiting for the next beat drop. Seconds later, he disappeared into the lights and fog on the dance floor, but throughout the rest of the night, this guy kept catching my eye because of the absolute joy he exuded as he made his moves.

There’s a reason music drives us to find deeper meanings in our lives. It allows us to let loose, feel free, take a deep breath, and fall into the endless space of rhythm and groove. No matter what circumstances control our lives, the music is always an escape that can take us out of our realities for 30 minutes or several

hours. That’s ok, as long as we understand that we must always return to our reality off the dance floor.

I’ve had my share of moments like those where I lose track of time and even my surroundings, in a trance from music, lights, and drugs. I’ve sometimes had a hard time bringing myself to accept the reality that those moments of pure bliss are just that, moments. I hear of people chasing the next high, trying to ride these waves of ecstasy hoping for something new and surreal to happen to them. The problem is, they don’t understand that reality isn’t meant to be 24/7 ecstasy. The moments we spend on the dance floor listening to the music we love makes up for the times of sadness, frustration, and fear at other points in our lives.

What can we learn from being lost in a moment? Realize that it won’t last forever, but enjoy the hell out of it while it’s happening! Hold onto those memories, the beats, the rhythms, the lights, and every bead of sweat that made it possible for you to reach your own MOMENT of joy. I promise that memory will last forever!

Swinging Richards to Introduce Daytime Female Dancers After gay Atlanta strip club Swinging Richards filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, general manager Harry Hunt told the Georgia Voice that the club will continue to be “open as usual; all male, all nude, all night.”

However, that seems to no longer be the case: the gay Atlanta favorite has announced they will be introducing female dancers into a daytime lineup to garner more revenue.

Owner C.B. Jones told Project Q Atlanta that the club is set to hire 20 female dancers in order to help fund litigation costs after five former dancers sued for unpaid wages.

These female dancers will come from three Sandy Springs strip clubs that closed in September of last year after a 12-year legal battle with the city over alcohol and nudity. Because Swinging Richards normally isn’t open during the day, the women will take the day shifts – a solution Jones said both gives the performers jobs and brings in more revenue for the club.

Many reacted to the news adamant that the inclusion of female dancers at a gay strip club is indicative of the club closing.

“SR will be closing soon,” one Twitter user wrote. “The writing is on the wall now.”

However, Jones assures customers and fans that, despite the change, the club will be open for “years to come.”

Arrests Made in Murder of Atlanta Gay Man DeKalb County police have arrested a suspect in last month’s murder of gay man Trey Peters and have issued warrants for a second suspect.

Joshua Cortez Ellis, 21, was arrested last month on unrelated charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault charges, but now faces a murder charge, Sgt. J.D. Spencer told the AJC. Police also have a murder warrant for Shaleeya Moore, a second suspect, but she is not yet in custody. There is also another person of interest who police have yet to identify.

Gay Bars to be Affected by Atlanta Smoking Ban The City of Atlanta has passed an ordinance that bans smoking and vaping in public spaces, affecting several gay bars, according to the AJC. The legislation, drafted by councilperson Matt Westmoreland, expands on existing smoke-free laws to maintain “the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Atlanta and its visitors.”

“Everyone in Atlanta has the right to breathe smoke-free air,” said Westmoreland.

Passed 13-2, the ordinance prohibits smoking and vaping in bars, restaurants, workplaces, hotel and motel rooms, and other enclosed public areas, including Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, beginning Jan. 2, 2020.

Some exemptions exist, including private residences, tobacco and vape stores, private clubs and cigar bars, and other establishments where minors are banned and at least 20 percent or $250,000 of the annual gross revenue generated is from tobacco product sales.

Police have identified the crime as hate-motivated, as witnesses claim that the gunman called Peters a homophobic slur before shooting him in the chest and neck and taking his belongings.

An amendment to exclude adult entertainment establishments was proposed by councilperson Marci Collier Overstreet but failed. This means that places like Swinging Richards, which currently allows indoor smoking, will have to abide by the ban.

However, Georgia is one of only four states that do not have a law against hate crimes — meaning the penalty for the crime will not be worsened because Peters was targeted for being gay.

“I’m okay with it because I think it’s healthier not to have smoking indoors for people that don’t smoke,” Swinging Richards owner C.B. Jones told Project Q Atlanta. Swinging Richards reportedly plans to open an outdoor patio to accommodate smoking patrons.

After several weeks of final preparations for its new location, Woofs is back open and serving up drinks, food, and good times in Atlanta. Last weekend, staff opened their doors to guests, and within hours, the bar was already packed.

“For the first day, it was so much more than I ever thought,” said bartender Dan Bergman.

“We didn’t really push it. It was word of mouth. It was packed and by far the busiest day we’ve ever had.” He’s been with Woofs for 17 years, pouring drinks at the Piedmont Road location since 2002.

“I think a lot of us were really happy. It was old and it was time for a change. The new place is bigger,” he said. Owner Gregory Hughes made the announcement in March that many staff members including Bergman were hoping for.

Regardless of ongoing renovations, guests filled in with draft beers flowing, a hot grill, and tables filled with chatter and smiles.“You can tell, it’s still a work in progress. TV’s aren’t up, but I don’t think people really cared,” said Bergman. “They were just glad to have the bar back. For many people, this is their home.”

“I try to create some of the original feel from the old space into the new space. People who know me well, who know the bar well, will walk into the new space and remember certain parts from the old space,” said

But he and many of his guests admit parking is a drawback, which makes Uber and Lyft rides or even walking a viable option. “We’ve had people that are down by Ansley Mall that walk here,” said Bergman.

But Bergman says regardless of the location, the size of the bar, and the newness of the venue, there’s one thing that will never run dry at Woofs. “It’s always kind of been the same vibe,” he said. “It’s just guys hanging out who like sports or guys that like guys who watch sports.”

“I thought the space was great, open and airy, and it actually allows people to socialize more, especially in the front.

The patio is cute, not as big as I thought it would be and the parking situation is definitely not ideal, but maybe it’ll encourage people to Uber and not drive while drinking. Staff is great as always and very friendly. Bathrooms are big and clean.”

Accommodating Campus Diversity Rose Pelham When the Georgia Voice asked Daniel Schwendinger why he left Agnes Scott College after his freshman year, he said it was because he did not feel included as a transgender man.

Although Princeton Review listed Agnes Scott among its top ten most LGBTQ-friendly colleges in 2017, students say the school has not always made members of the trans community feel welcome. Students spoke about the difficulty of obtaining transgender housing accommodations and the complete absence of trans-feminine people from the college.

The Agnes Scott 2018-2019 student handbook also frequently includes statements referring collectively to students by female pronouns and as “women.” While this is unsurprising from a women’s college, it ignores and excludes trans-masculine Scotties like Daniel.

In order to find out what Agnes Scott College is doing to become more inclusive of transgender students, the Georgia Voice contacted Dr. Amy Lovell, the most senior faculty member of the Gay Johnson McDougall Center for Global Diversity and Inclusion. She spoke extensively about the Center’s work improving accommodations for transgender students in the classroom and on field trips, as well as expanding gender-neutral bathroom access.

“I work directly with transgender students and the college’s IT department to implement a new policy that makes sure transgender students are consistently referred to by the correct name and pronouns, even when they have a different legal name,” she said.

Colleges throughout the country use computer software to organize and access student information. Frequently, these computer programs are designed to automatically refer to students by their legal name. This creates a challenge for transgender students who may not use their legal name because it misrepresents their gender. The process for acquiring a legal name change, however, can be prohibitively difficult, especially for out-ofstate and international students.

how to be accommodating of transgender students in the classroom and on field trips.

“These efforts have been hurt by the recent resignation of the campus coordinator for inclusion and diversity, Tiffany Del Valle,” said Dr. Lovell. “She held her position for only one year. In addition, the Center also has a vacant position for an LGBTQ fellow.

While the Center’s work is clearly making Agnes Scott more hospitable to transgender students, despite setbacks, it does not extend to housing accommodations, which are in a state of disarray.

Tu Phung is a transgender man and rising senior at Agnes Scott College. For his first two years on campus, Tu had to share a dorm room with a cisgender woman for a roommate. This made him deeply uncomfortable, so as a freshman he began looking for ways to get a single room.

“I looked up every policy and guideline, and there was nothing about accommodations for transgender students,” said Phung.

He tried to raise his concerns about housing with the student government but says nothing really got answered. Eventually, he spoke with the Associate Dean and Resident Life about his situation, but still, nothing happened. Finally, he contacted the Office of Accessible Education, which was able to help him, but they had no experience working with transgender students and were confused about how to approach Tu’s request for housing accommodations. “They didn’t do anything to help me at first when I raised my concern because they didn’t know how to categorize my situation,” he said.

The Office of Accessible Education is designed to collaborate “with students, faculty, and staff to help create an inclusive educational

environment for students with disabilities,” according to the Agnes Scott website. In order to fit Tu’s case into the system the office uses for granting accommodations, it had to categorize him being transgender as a mental health condition that resulted in a disability. To that end, Phung had to send the office a letter from a physician diagnosing him with the condition of “gender dysphoria,” or discomfort with the gender he was assigned at birth.

The term gender dysphoria has increasingly become controversial in some parts of the transgender community because it can imply that being transgender is a mental health issue. After Phung sent the letter to the Office of Accessible Education and completed his housing accommodations application, it took another two weeks for the college to grant him a single dorm room for the upcoming academic year.

“I’m the only transgender man on campus with housing accommodations,” said Phung.

“Other transgender men usually room with their romantic partners in order to avoid uncomfortable situations like the one I was in.”

His experience reveals a substantial gap in the accommodations policy of Agnes Scott, which he says will have to be solved in order for the college to live up to its goal of inclusivity.

Until then, other transgender male students like Daniel Schwendinger may continue to look for opportunities to transfer to co-educational institutions where options for accommodations for the LGBTQ community are endless.

The Georgia Voice contacted the Agnes Scott Admission Office for comment on whether Agnes Scott is admitting or seeking to admit transgender women. The Admission Office chose not to comment.

Medicines are available to help with weight loss. There are five approved medicines and they work differently, sometimes best when combined. They do produce weight loss, but not every medicine works for everyone.

The side effects and the person’s underlying medical conditions must be considered.

Generally, weight loss with medication is less than with surgery — about 10 percent of body weight is lost and can be difficult to keep off after stopping the medicine. Sometimes people must retake the medication when they regain the weight.

Managing weight is a lifelong effort and without modifying eating habits and physical activity, medicines do very little. This is also true of surgery, though surgery is more effective overall. The medicines used are generally safe and your medical provider will monitor you along the way to regulate side effects.

I’m transgender, but am not sure how do I get started on hormone therapy. Help?

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can have positive and important impacts on a transgender person’s quality of life. First, you need to make the decision that you’re truly ready to start your hormone therapy. (Once you start, some changes cannot be undone.)

One question to ask is how HRT impact your life. If you decide that HRT is right for you, the next step is finding a healthcare provider (HCP) to prescribe your HRT and monitor your therapy. It’s important to find an HCP you feel comfortable with and one who has experience in prescribing HRT for gender transition.

physical assessment prior to starting your HRT and may also request a mental health assessment. HCPs have a responsibility to be sure you are making an informed decision and that you meet the physical and mental standards for eligibility and readiness for HRT. Following the mental health assessment, the professional will then make recommendations to your provider.

Your HCP will then do the physical exam, order baseline laboratory testing, and discuss the process of initiation of your HRT. Once complete, your HCP will make recommendations on dosages and frequency of your HRT and how you’ll be monitored during your transition. Ongoing care will include follow-up appointments with your HCP to monitor your hormone levels and the effectiveness of your therapy. You may also have followups by your mental health provider, circumstances depending.

Remember, HRT is a lifelong commitment and requires monitoring to optimize your transition and overall health. Finding the appropriate HCP is an important first step to building a happier, healthier quality of life for you!

POLITICIAN: STACEY ABRAMS Abrams made waves nationwide in 2018 during her campaign for governor of Georgia as the first black woman in the country to be a gubernatorial candidate for a major party.

However, she’s made history countless times; in 2010, she became the first woman to lead either party in the Georgia General Assembly and the first African American to lead in the House of Representatives. Before her run for governor, she served as the Georgia House Minority Leader from 2011 to 2017. Don’t expect her to stay quiet in the future, as she’s one of the democratic party’s future hopefuls for a possible presidential run.

Onstage Atlanta Back in the Game with “Spring Awakening” Jim Farmer

It took a while but Onstage Atlanta has a home again. For 15 long months, the company was homeless after losing their Decatur space but now they are up and running again in a location just miles from where they once were. They are producing again as well — their new take of “Spring Awakening” has just opened.

The musical — which won eight Tony Awards — is based on Frank Wedekind’s controversial 1891 play that follows the lives of a group of German teenagers dealing with their sexuality and growing up. With music

by Duncan Sheik and book and lyrics by Steven Sater, the original Broadway version featured Jonathan Groff and Lea Michele.

Directing the piece is out company member Charlie Miller, a big fan of the musical himself, having seen the national touring version and the Actor’s Express take. “I loved the show and as we moved into a new space, I thought the kind of show it is would work well there,” he says. “I think a lot of the issues that the show deals with are surprisingly timely and interesting. I also thought I could do a pretty good job of presenting this to our audience. The show has not been done in the city for a while.”

The characters include Melchior (Jacob Valleroy), an intellectual living in an authoritarian, adult-dominated world and trying to figure out where he fits. “Melchior is dealing with his coming of age and sexuality,” says Miller. “He understands intellectually what sex is but has never had it. Throughout the play, he discovers what it means to him, good and bad.” Wendla (Emily Winchell) is an innocent, naive girl sheltered from a lot of things in life but she feels her body changing while Moritz (Shane Murphy) is confused by relationships and has to deal with a domineering father who berates him 42 Columnists July 19, 2019

for not living up to expectations and a lot of internal angst at home. “Spring Awakening” also features a subplot about the same-sex relationship between teenagers Ernst (John Jenkins) and Hanschen (Austin Basham) who eventually give in to their feelings.

“All of us have gone through these kinds of things are teenagers,” says Miller. “When you look back to the original, it’s shocking that it’s over 100 years old. It’s all fascinating to watch.”

He feels the musical is especially relevant in this day and age, with the controversy over the recently passed heartbeat bill and discussions about abortion rights. “There are obviously issues of teenage sex as well. Living in the South, I feel like we, as Americans, are sheltered to what that means versus being open and honest about what it means to be a human. This is a reflection of a direction it can take in society today and the things that go on in a young person’s brain.

This version of the show features a first for Onstage Atlanta: a seven-piece orchestra.

The orchestra won’t be physically on stage but will be visible behind a scrim.

Aurora Theatre, who produce musicals as well as anyone in town, has just opened their 2019-2020 season this week with Stephen Schwartz’s “Children of Eden.” Directed by Justin Anderson, it’s described as an “epic masterpiece” about the Book of Genesis and the struggle between parents and children.

Its large cast includes Maxim Gukhman and Naima Carter Russell from the company’s “Memphis.”

Category Is … Healthy Food Realness Cliff Bostock If your thing is pizza, meat, and veganism, you’ll want to check out Plant Based Pizzeria in Virginia-Highland. Open since January, the tiny venue is open for take-out only.

While the exterior is completely nondescript, the interior is like AstroTurf meets arty graffiti and great music.

The pizzas are made with spelt flour, which is significantly more nutritious than white flour, but don’t go thinking it’s gluten-free.

There is that option, but it’s going to add $5 to the cost, which is already kind of high at $20 for most of the 12-inch pies. I’ve only tried one, the Georgia Peach, which features a lot of vegan Beyond Sausage, vegan mozzarella, roasted basil sauce, and small cubes of roasted peaches. Honestly, I wasn’t blown away. Besides the trendy Impossible Burger, I don’t find most vegetarian meat and cheese substitutes palatable. If I were a vegan accustomed to these impersonators, maybe I’d feel differently. I admit that I’m not especially fond of spelt flour. My pizza’s dough was thick and kind of crumbly.

I don’t typically want meat on a conventional pizza. (My thing is usually the Margherita).

My plan at Plant Based Pizzeria was to build a pie with “real” vegetables only, but that’s hard to do here. There is one all-vegetablecomposed pie, the Vegan Deluxe, but it also features the weird vegan mozzarella. I do like the restaurant’s roasted basil sauce. You can also order a burger or calzone here. By the way, both the Decatur and Old Fourth Ward locations of Ammazza pizzerias are now serving vegetarian options.

Speaking of gluten…sometimes, you don’t know what’s in your own backyard. That’s the case with two-year-old Mediterranea, a Grant Park restaurant I only recently discovered. I’ve had one dinner and a brunch there, and I love the place, as much for the pleasant vibe as the food.

The restaurant, which includes a bakery, is literally 100-percent gluten-free. I promise that you won’t even notice. Dinner here is on the costly side, but lunch and brunch are

moderately priced. So far, the best thing I’ve sampled at dinner has been gigantic shrimp tossed with rice-like orzo pasta, escarole, golden raisins, pine nuts, and feta cheese.

This is from Calabria in Italy, where one of the owners was born. I also liked my brunch of two small salmon croquettes, served with a crowded plate full of olives, a hard-boiled

egg, nuts, labneh cheese, dried fruits, and apple relish. It also includes one of the best dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) I’ve eaten in years. The true homage to Our Lady of Gluten is the bakery. I ate what looked like a cube of cake but was called a scone. There are several varieties and I picked one made was cherries and pecans.

I’m waiting impatiently for the new location of Food Terminal to open on Marietta Street in West Midtown. Meanwhile, I’m still a regular at the restaurant’s always-crowded Buford Highway location, which I visited last Friday. The restaurant’s emphasis is on Malaysian street food, which is a hybrid of numerous Asian countries. The Terminal’s menu is in the form of a gigantic magazine with so many choices, I always end up asking the server for suggestions. The best dish among six that two friends and I ordered was a small plate of long, gummy noodles topped with shiitake mushrooms and ground chicken awash with slightly spicy oil. I also liked a plate of Nyonya shrimp, a fusion of Chinese and Malaysian spices that creates a moderately spicy, sour taste. The huge shrimp were served over vegetable noodles.

Everybody farts.

Whether we admit to it or not, we are built to pass gas when necessary. For some, those moments can come at the most inopportune time.

I grew up in a family that had the freedom to express themselves as they needed, with the understanding it was still a private matter and not to be expressed if others were in close proximity. However, my older brother and sister at times took the opportunity to purposely enter my personal space with their airy messages. The Carters called them frogs, and these invisible amphibians showed up everywhere around the house.

I had a couple of embarrassing moments because of a fart. The first was at my first big slumber party in elementary school. We were playing some 1970’s version of a passout game, where we had to spin in circles until dizzy then a friend would lift us up from behind. I suppose it was an effort to feel drunk or like passing out but when I was suddenly lifted in the air by my classmate I ripped one that could be heard throughout the basement we were playing in. The girl who provided the lift fell along with me to the carpeted floor, crippled with laughter.

The rest of the crowd laughed as well so I had no choice but to be more tickled than ashamed. Good thing they didn’t see how red my face was.

The second also occurred in elementary school when my sister was getting married. I was a 10-year-old bridesmaid and the entire bridal party was gathered in a small enclosure leading to my church’s sanctuary, waiting for our cue. I could feel the pressure in my gut as I became nervous to walk down the aisle. In my mind, I thought if I just quietly let some air loose I’d feel so much better. So I did, but the aroma that soon dominated that small room prompted a reaction from the other women that made me regret my decision. As cool as I tried to be in my reaction, I was convinced they knew it was the young kid

who dealt the stinky blow.

It’s not just bridesmaids who can sniff out the culprit. Recently in Missouri, police had a similar clue help them catch a criminal.

Officers with the Liberty Police Department, along with a K-9 unit, had been searching for a man wanted on a warrant charging possession of a controlled substance. It seems that the suspect may have gotten away except for, you guessed it, his loud fart. Sure enough the unmanned man passed gas so loudly that police were easily able to locate his hiding spot and arrest him.

There does seem to be a stigma associated with flatulence that is more severe than with other bodily functions yet it is still a normal process. I’ve known intimate couples who didn’t fart in front of each other, even though they’ve shared everything else physical, and women who work to hold their farts in while using a bathroom stall. Now that I’m approaching the age where a normal cough can trigger one, I say so be it, and while you’re at it pull my finger.

Buttigieg seems to have mastered overachieving without becoming intolerable, but there’s a cap on how much perfectionism many folks will tolerate. Which is why there’s another Reese Witherspoon film from the ’90s that Buttigieg must avoid embodying even more: “Pleasantville.”

Buttigieg is a storybook candidate. He is charismatic but unimposing, ambitious but humble, young but wise, and a war veteran with a caring heart. His performance thus far in the campaign has been remarkable, both the promise of millennial leadership and how he has treated his homosexuality as an asset.

However, as in “Pleasantville,” a narrative can become so aspirational that it loses its authenticity. Buttigieg remains among my top tier of contenders in the Democratic primary, but my early enthusiasm for his candidacy was tempered when he and his husband were featured on the cover of Time magazine looking like the First Couple of Gay Mayberry.

I wasn’t disappointed they weren’t wearing leather or sequins, but I was startled by how “straight” they appeared — and I use that term in its historic, pejorative sense rather than to suggest sexual orientation. They were a visual manifestation of the lie that has been the LGBTQ movement’s most effective political strategy: that we and our relationships are just like heterosexuals.

outrage with a piece for The New Republic in which he wrote, “Mary Pete and I are just not the same type of gay.” Peck’s online column was pulled due to its vulgarity and cattiness, but his essay raised points that would fuel a delightful, tipsy conversation out of earshot, and without the input, of heterosexuals.

There is no right or wrong way to be homosexual, but there are different ways of being gay and there is little in Buttigieg’s story that echoes my experience and outlook as a homosexual. Indeed, the union between Buttigieg and Chasten Glezman — started on the fringe dating app Hinge — marks a radical departure from almost every gay man in history in that, as Peck notes, Buttigieg “married the first guy he dated.”

While that may sound like a heteronormative fairy tale, I read it as a red flag. Marriage equality did not retroactively equip gay men older than 30 with the same adolescent rites and lessons as their heterosexual peers, and I expect many to experience the frustration of trying to fit into a (faulty) relationship model for which we were never prepared.

Of course, many LGBTQ people throughout history were unable to pass a note to a middleschool crush, or attend prom with the date of their desire, or talk with their friends and family about their dreams of love, and they developed into fine human beings and romantic partners.

I don’t know how many of them committed their lives to their first lover.

I don’t rule out Buttigieg blazing a new trail for gay relationships just as he has done for gay politics, but the former is decidedly less inspiring than his campaign pitch.
