PRIMARY SCHOOL LOCATION: VAGAMON AREA : 4 ACRE YEAR : 2022 The primary school in Vagamon stands as a beacon of sustainable development and thoughtful design. Embracing the ethos of eco-friendliness, the school is strategically located to harmonize with the natural contours of the land, ensuring minimal disruption to the sloping terrain. The architectural masterpiece is a testament to environmental consciousness, featuring a single-roof design that seamlessly integrates all facilities under one eco-friendly canopy. This innovative approach not only optimizes space but also reduces the school’s carbon footprint.

FACADE DETAILING During my site analysis, I observed the front portion receiving direct sunlight between 11 am and 3 pm. To mitigate this, vertical shading devices can be employed. Implementing kinetic devices that dynamically adjust their angle based on wind conditions would not only provide shade but also create a unique and ever-changing facade.

RESIDENCE LOCATION: ERNAKULAM AREA : 45 CENT YEAR : 2021 DESIGNING A VACATION HOME FOR A NON-RESIDENT MALAYALI COUPLE IN ERNAKULAM PRESENTS AN EXCITING CHALLENGE. THE CORE REQUIREMENT IS A SPACIOUS FIVE-BEDROOM LAYOUT, ALONG WITH A ONE-BEDROOM, ONE-KITCHEN GUEST HOUSE. THE DESIGN SHOULD SEAMLESSLY INCORPORATE A MODERN AND MINIMALIST INTERPRETATION OF THE TRADITIONAL SLOPED ROOF, CREATING A UNIQUE AND VISUALLY STRIKING AESTHETIC.
