In the current environment, leadership in healthcare requires more than understanding clinical medicine or financial/business strategy. The successful organization will be led by those who are fluent in healthcare, business, policy and efficiency engineering; thus understanding of the nuances of how efficient, cost-effective, evidence-based care is provided and how to synthesize and apply strategies from all disciplines. The UKHealthCare Executive Leadership development program is a huge first step in contemplating this journey.

This program can be tailored to meet an organization’s needs by choosing the topics and timeline that fit the organization’s specific requirements. The program can run two weeks or up to six months. Each attendee will receive a certificate of completion. During the program, participants also work to implement a ‘live’ project in their workplace or business, providing the opportunity to apply the concepts they have learned. The Healthcare Executive Leadership Program is very experiential with high levels of participation expected.
