DA ROMA A TORINO Dai dischi di De Andrè ai colori di Mirò FROM ROME TO TURIN | From De Andrè’s records to Mirò’s colors

The 2023 Record and Comics Fairs, which started in March with a joint edition, ends with a new major event that unites the world of music and that of comics. On November 12th the Record Fair and the Comics Fair return in an extraordinary joint edition in Piazza Madama Cristina from 9.00 to 18.00. Around 80 exhibitors from all over Italy (and some foreigners) will bring to Turin all the best music and comics of the last 100 years. An edition which, in addition to the usual vast panorama for all enthusiasts, offers absolute rarities. Let’s start from what is considered the “Holy Grail” of Italian music collecting: the 45 rpm single from 1961 with “La ballata dell’eroe” by Fabrizio De André. A very rare piece, the cover of which shows the author simply as “Fabrizio”, taken up by Luigi Tenco in 1962 as the soundtrack to Luciano Salce’s film “La Cuccagna” of 1962. Real “gems” are also rare South American prints, sung in Spanish, by Italian singers: from Pooh to Riccardo Fogli (Mexican and Brazilian editions) to Mina and Patty Pravo, with very rare editions.

WHO SAYS WOMAN SAYS FUTURE

EN. Philosophers of communication teach that the best way to stop time is to use photography. Every shot is forever, be it people, things, events. At the Maxxi Museum in Rome the 100 women photographed in black and white by Ilaria Lombi will remain eternalized as EXTRAORDINARY PROTAGONISTS, is the title of the exhibition held in October, of this Italian historical period. And so it will be even when other faces are added to bear witness to other moments of the future. Whether it’s women in politics, institutions, art, finance, volunteering, from Emma Bonino to Elodie, it’s the same. However, it is not a simple celebration of a successful female universe, which is also needed in a country that is still very masculine and chauvinist, but a hand extended to defenseless women and girls all over the world. Terres des Hommes and the Deloitte Foundation offer them the initiative so that they do not give up on removing the youngest people on the planet, who are most exposed to negative gender prejudice, from every form of violence, exploitation and submission. It took the sensitivity of Vincenzo Spadafora, who has always been involved in international humanitarian organisations, to animate an event like this in which the female universe, even at the most competitive peaks of those who have managed to break the glass ceiling, do not forget sustainability social, environmental and human aspects of acting in public. zafiato e un’atmosfera da sogno.

FABULOUS ATMOSPHERES IN CARINTHIA This year the Villacher Advent, the long-awaited Christmas market in Villach, has started to warm up the historic streets of the city from November 18th together with the evocative magical forest “Winter Wunder Wald” and the ice rink. until Saturday 24 December and from 27 to 31 December you can also take advantage of the New Year’s market. Dedicated entirely to craftsmanship, the Kunst Advent market is instead the market set up in Oberer Kirchenplatz square. Then, on Sunday 18 December, in the Hans-Gasser-Platz square, the “Bauernadvent” will begin at 17:00, a peasant advent during which the “Christkind” baby Jesus accompanied by angels and the Three Kings, is warmly welcomed with songs, the ringing of bells and luminous lanterns. In addition to all this, it will be possible to visit the magical forest “Winter Wunder Wald”, this year in its third edition, in the garden of the Parkhotel. The creator of this installation, Thomas Brezina, a well-known writer of children’s and youth books, will once again give the city of Villach a fairytale atmosphere bringing visitors back to their childhood memories.

The magical garden will amaze young and old with its light installations, including hearts, doves of peace and teddy bears floating among the trees and gingerbread house. Info: www.villacheradvent.at

STALLS IN THE FORTRESS AT KUFSTEIN The symbol of the city of Kufstein is its mighty fortress, dating from the 13th century, which watches over the city from a rock outcropping. During the Christmas period, the market and the Advent atmosphere add to the “natural” charm of the place, immersed in the scent of cinnamon, the typical Tyrolean sweets and the lights that make everything a fairytale. But there is more. The characteristic stalls of the artisans of the region are located in a very particular corner of the castle. These are the casemates, or part of the perimeter of the fortress where the cannons and heavy artillery once housed.

CYCLE: DENIM BETWEEN TRADITION, CRAFTSMANSHIP AND INNOVATION | Cycle, the Venetian brand specializing in denim with a history of twenty years of experience, is starting again with the supply chain. di Paolo Gelmi

EN. With a passion for “well made” and for typical Made in Italy craftsmanship, created from 2000 and one of the most representative denim brands including canvases and threads treated as refined fabrics alongside research and style, continuing to create one of the most iconic items of clothing in the world; the very coveted, desired and emblazoned jeans. Venetian company Numero 8’s Cycle Brand is all this, including Sun68 brand in its portfolio and more. Cycle products tell the story of its fabric in a contemporary way. In some cases leading it to become a luxury garment. The name of the brand tells the story of this material which, through studies on new treatability methods, manages to win back consumers every time through new shapes, new washes and visions that go far beyond the classic of its fabric, making it contemporary, glamorous and chic . Since the initial decade of its foundation, thanks to its founders Andrea Bertin and Elena Boaretto, Cycle has won over young consumers, and national and international buyers, quickly positioning itself in the olympus of those who have denim in their DNA. A new property, innovative research into materials, new shapes and particular washes are some of the elements which, in a total balance between tradition and innovation, redesign the new Cycle, taking it on the path to reclaiming that position which it once held, a sign of the most classic of Made in Italy. Not only trousers, but also sweaters, shirts and jackets make up a contemporary look between casual and streetwear to consolidate the affection of the so-called “Boomer” consumer and win over generation Z and the “Millenials” through a new fit and a contemporary style with stylistic approaches which wink at craftsmanship in a

luxury arena. A challenge that Cycle intends to win. Gate Mag met Enrico Spinazzè, owner of the Venetian company Numero 8, to hear about the news and developments of this extraordinary casualwear brand. Cycle’s more than twenty-year history tells us the story of a leading denim brand. How has your strategy changed? CYCLE has been part of our company for 5 to 6 seasons now. The first steps were to reactivate the entire supply chain which had no longer worked on the project for a few years including workshops, laundries, and other artisans. This necessary setup also included the collaboration with the founders and current stylists Andrea Bertin and Elena Boaretto. I don’t think we can talk about a change of strategy, because the values of the past, such as quality, freshness, research, love for denim have remained unchanged, perhaps the way in which it has changed. But the love for denim is the same as 20 years ago. Denim was born as a work fabric, then it became the symbol of rebellion and freedom of entire generations. How has your approach to this garment changed in recent years? More democratic, more transversal, more inclusive are the topics we want to use at the moment. Despite all these aspects we like the soul of denim, which is still the fabric most loved by women and young generations. So much so that it makes me think that perhaps it is wrong to talk about denim as a symbol, because in reality it is those who wear denim who decide what flavor to give it. ENJOY YOUR TRIP | 55

In tema di sostenibilità come vi state muovendo?

Perhaps the most current concept is therefore the ability to transform. It’s always the same and always different. How are you moving towards sustainability? It is certainly an important issue for us. We understand it and we are moving in small steps towards the future, from the choice of washes with the least impact in terms of pollution, thanks also to the stupendous work of the Italian laundries we work with, up to the choice of fabrics with an eye to the future like recycled cottons. Cycle means denim. Are you thinking of creating total look collections with other fabrics in the future? We think that denim fabric will not be left alone, but at the same time we are sure that it will always be the core of our collections and that any other fabric we insert will certainly be in tune with the denim world (such as velvets for winter or jerseys for the summer). What are the 2024 trends in this sector? Talking about denim trends is a stretch. Precisely because denim has always been a theme that manages to live disconnected from short-term trends. If we had to give some indications I would definitely say to keep an eye on the softer and oversized volumes, both for men and women. Besides Italy, what are your markets? For now we are concentrated in Italy, but the dream remains in the more distant markets such as Japan and Korea where we are making the first contacts. What are you doing in terms of communicating and positioning to capture generation Z and the Millenials? In terms of product we work a lot on volumes most suitable for the new generations, in terms of communication we use their tools, but we transmit our values.

Denim has been cleared through customs today and we also see it on the fashion catwalks of the most important fashion weeks. Do you also have a luxury line? Not a dedicated line, but certainly garments with “luxury” references, where for us luxury indicates the continuous search for washes and techniques. To define the market and trends I wouldn’t say that denim goes to fashion week, but it is the fashion system that brings denim into those environments. Who are the Cycle men and women? Transversal. Age is no longer an important fact. A detail that perhaps unites them is the love for authentic and beautiful things which is what we try to convey in our garments. Do fairs like Pitti still have added value today? Certainly yes. Specifically Pitti which is the most important fair in Europe. But for the future we should ask ourselves whether presence at the fair is still a value that will be able to help our projects. How has work changed for a company like yours after the pandemic period? We have reduced in-person meetings and we use video call tools in a more natural way. However, when it comes to the product we still like to work live together with our team to breathe the nuances of the tones of the various declinations of denim.

VETEMENTS, DEMNA GVASALIA’S SUBVERSIVE UTOPIA | From finance to fashion: the curious and fascinating story of the Georgian designer who brought the Vetements brand to global levels. di Andrea Bertolucci

EN. There was a time when, before enrolling at the Royal Academy in Antwerp, Demna Gvasalia envisioned his own career in finance. He had just graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, the country in which he was born in 1981 to an Orthodox Christian family forced to flee the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict that tortured their city for years. Today, 20 years later, he is one of the most influential and controversial designers in the entire fashion system, and it is enough to say his name - Demna - to generate among

those in the fashion industry a feeling of familiarity and deep admiration. His career in fashion began when he joined the design team at Maison Margiela: Gvasalia curated the women’s collection during those years, maintaining that role until 2013. He resigned from that position to go to the position of senior designer at Louis Vuitton, always overseeing the women’s ready-to-wear collection. But it was only during the following year that Demna began-along with his brother Guram to lay the groundwork for what is still considered one of the most subversive and original brands of the last decade: Vetements. Most of their initial designs are shown inside small gay clubs in Paris, but within a very few months the first women’s ready-to-wear collection by Vetements is ready to be presented at Paris Fashion Week. Since its rise, Vetements and its post-Soviet aesthetic have been able to bring together both streetwear fans and high

fashion experts. The brand’s ability to appeal to such a wide swath of the public stems from the design sensibility and unique imaginary Demna has been able to create. Vetements made its mark by creating a path that challenged the established norms of the fashion industry, combining the past and future of streetwear in a journey of appropriation and legacy. At the same time as his own journey with Vetements, Demna was appointed creative director of Balenciaga in 2015, succeeding American designer Alexander Wang. And even in a historic fashion maison like the one founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga, he attempted a feat that was inconceivable to many: subverting the idea of beauty. If previously designers were primarily looking for elegance, Demna now wanted the shock. Often labeled as “subversive” by the press, including Vogue and Business of Fashion, it has never compromised with the market; if anything, it has

dominated it. In this sense, Vetements has taken a totally provocative and conscious approach to the design and distribution of its collections. The shows, for example, always took place in unconventional locations, including a sex club, a church, and a restaurant. That was until 2017, when Demna declared that Vetements would no longer appears in the canonical Fashion Week program. Only two years later, in 2019, he decided to leave Vetements, resigning in favor of his brother Guram, who already was the CEO of the brand. Guram said: “We will continue to push the boundaries even further, respecting the brand’s authentic codes and values, and we will continue to support honest creativity and genuine talent.”

LEARN TO BREATHE WITH THE WHOLE BODY | It’s an act we repeatedly perform in our existence in an absolute natural way (at least that’s what we commonly think) and we assume it’s the same for everyone. But it’s not so. Let’s find a way to improve it.

EN. Breathing is an act that our body performs repeatedly in our existence in an absolute natural way (at least that’s what we commonly believe) and we assume it’s the same for everyone. Few of us have a real perception of what our breathing is at any precise moment: short, deep, fast, slow… Depending on the type of breathing we have, we condition our body and consequently our activities. In modern society and in highly industrialized countries like ours, most people tend to have very short and accelerated breathing during their day. Air generally tends to arrive in our body and stop at chest height and then be expelled through the nose or mouth. All this can lead to a series of non-indifferent consequences both physically and mentally. The fact that the air cannot reach our abdomen, as it does in deep breathing, can produce postural and intestinal problems. From a mental point of view, the poor oxygenation of our body leads to less mental lucidity and greater difficulty in maintaining states of concentration in what we do, with a consequent enormous waste of energy. The most common consequence is that we find ourselves at the end of the day feeling “empty” and totally devoid of energy. So what can we do to improve our breathing and have immediate physical benefits? Mindfulness can help teach us various exercises related to our breathing and how to use it, according to our specific needs such as relaxing the body and mind, increasing concentration and managing states of severe stress or anxiety, for example. The important thing is to learn to use it correctly through constant practice: you will see that if you

practice daily for at least 10 minutes, that within a few weeks you will find that your breathing has become deeper and slower than when you started. And you will feel that you have more energy throughout your day. So here are three exercises I suggest: 1. Diaphragmatic breathing Lie down or sit in a quiet place. Place your left hand on your chest and your right hand on your abdomen breathe slowly and deeply follow the movement of the abdomen with your right hand as you inhale and exhale. Keep your left hand still on your chest. Repeat the exercise 10 times while keeping your breath regular. Do this whenever you feel the need to relax and release stress. ENJOY YOUR TRIP | 65

2. Alternate nostril breathing In this breathing exercise, the thumb, index and middle fingers of the right hand are used. The index and middle fingers go close to the left nostril, so as to inhale with the right nostril. After inhaling, close the right nostril with the thumb and now exhale with the left nostril. Continue inhaling through the free left nostril, then close both nostrils and finally exhale through the right nostril. Alternate nostril breathing relaxes and restores balance between the two cerebral hemispheres, thus promoting concentration. 3. 4-7-8 breathing to regulate your breathing and fall asleep in a short time The 4-7-8 breathing technique is based on regulating breath by using a set rhythm. This very simple practice is effective for falling asleep, as it promotes relaxation of the mind and body. Release all the air from your lungs by exhaling through your mouth ajar, now close your mouth and inhale for a count of 4, hold your breath while counting to 7 finally, exhale all the air slowly counting while counting to 8. Repeat the exercise at least 4 times in a row, even 2 times a day. This will get you used to breathing slower and deeper. This is ideal to do before going to sleep and in all situations where you feel the need to regain calm. I recommend practicing these exercises for at least 10 minutes overall a day. With constancy in practice you can master these techniques and use them correctly and effectively whenever you need them.

Scopriamo come. NEW YEAR’S IN JAMAICA | A thousand shades of blue on the island transforms it into an authentic paradise where you can spend a warm holiday. Let’s find out how. di Ilaria Santi

EN. From the crystalline blue of the Caribbean waters surrounding Jamaica to the fluorescent blue of the Luminous Lagoon in Falmouth, from the turquoise of the Blue Hole in Ocho Rios to the emerald of the Martha Brae River, and from the light blue of the Dunn’s River Falls to the cerulean of the underground lake in the Green Grotto Cave, there are at least a thousand shades of blue that envelop the island considered to be the “must see” destination of the year by Lonely Planet. In short, Jamaica is a true paradise for the eyes, mind and spirit. Where it is always summer and every moment of the year is good for taking a dip in its oceans, lakes or rivers. The Taino indigenous people call the island “Xaymaca”, which means “land of wood and water”. A very poetic description that evokes the dense tropical forests, the scenic peaks of the Blue Mountains, and the splendid white sand beaches, waterfalls and rivers. Jamaica is quite easy to explore since the main places of interest and attractions are not far from each other. You can choose to base yourself in one of the most touristy locations such as Montego Bay (a stone’s throw from the international airport) or in hippy Negril, with its talcum powder beaches, or even in the wild Ocho Rios, or even in

You can also organize a traveling tour without missing some of the top places on the island and the unique experiences that can be had.The beaches are among the main reasons that attract tourists to Jamaica. Some of them have been included in the rankings of the most beautiful in the world, such as the famous Seven Mile Beach in Negril, more than eleven kilometers of soft white sand that flows into transparent waters, as well as Doctors Cave in Montego Bay whose waters they say are particularly healthy. Like the one where scenic Dunn’s River Falls falls including the highest waterfalls in Jamaica (55 metres) which can be climbed on foot. The beaches are not the only attractions of the island. Hidden in the Ocho Rios forest there is a spectacular Blue Hole to dive into. On the coast of Negril, in addition to the coral reef where you can snorkel or explore with glass boats, there are also steep cliffs from which to jump and, inland, there is the Green Grotto Cave, with an underground lake that also appeared in a famous scene from James Bond, “Live and Let Die”. There i salso the river Martha Brae, where you can be transported on bamboo rafts. Finally, one of the experiences that can only be done in Jamaica and in a few other places in the world: swimming at night in bioluminescence, a phenomenon whereby some microscopic living organisms emit light through chemical reactions due to the absorption of light. You do it in the Luminous Lagoon, the largest and brightest in the world which alone is worth the trip. WALKING THE CAMMINO BALTEO AT PONTBOSET | A circular hiking itinerary of almost 350 km in 23 stages that crosses the lower and middle Aosta Valley to discover 40 municipalities. di Pierre d’Alfonso

EN. The Cammino Balteo - a 23-stage, nearly 350-kilometer round hike that travels across the lower and middle Valle d’Aosta and passes through 40 municipalities - has become quite popular in recent years. Pontboset, a town in the Champorcher Valley with little over 150 residents, is traversed by two stages. It is around 80km from Turin Caselle and is accessible by public transportation from the Verrès and Pont Saint Martin stations. The site presents itself as a fascinating, inaccessible region surrounded by trees that lead down to the deep gorges carved out by the three streams Ayasse, Brenve, and Manda. The seventeen-

th-century church of San Grato, the eighteenth-century chapel of Gom, and historic rascards (typical Aosta Valley stone and wood dwellings) may all be found in the tiny town at 750 meters above sea level. The Sentiero dei Ponti e degli Orridi, one of the area’s most picturesque routes, also begins here. There is a universally accessible circular route that travels via the distinctive 17th century bridges, chestnut woodlands, and huge potholes and goes to the Orrido di Ratus and the Brenve waterfalls. The best view of the town is when you cross the first arched bridge over the Ayasse River. The multi-story homes built on the steep slopes to maximize space create the sense that the inhabited center, surrounded by chestnut groves, is perched on the mountain. Here, the water is the star, and the Valle d’Aosta’s goye (pools) are what give the route its distinctive color of deep blue. The Sanctuary of Retempio (1460m a.s.l.) is reached in around 2 and a half hours by a longer and more difficult route. Going up the Vallone di Brenve’s first section, you pass through chestnut forests before arriving in quaint villages that properly capture the agricultural heritage of these locations, where farmers traditionally raised rye and potatoes on terraces. The trail ascends higher and higher in the mountains as it continues through the larches, rewarding even the most extreme altitude fans. When you reach the 1835 sanctuary, you can take in a beautiful view of the valley level. The more experienced hikers might extend their jour-

You can also go to Pont Saint Martin in 4 hours by taking one of the Cammino Balteo’s more recognizable stages from Pontboset. You move through the most untamed landscape as you walk amid constant ascents and descents, expansive views of the valley floor, and long-gone settlements. A diversified stage that passes by several locations of outstanding historical, naturalistic, and gastronomic importance, including the goye di Hone, the well-known fort of Bard, the remnants of the Roman road of Donnas, the vineyards, and the old Roman bridge of Pont Saint Martin across the River Lys. Now it is evident why the Cammino Balteo travels through less visited tourist areas: it serves as a bridge for exploring other routes. Along with the other mid- and low-mountain communities along the route, Pontboset has a priceless historical legacy and the opportunity to grow environmentally conscious, eco-sustainable tourism. Greater and obedient attention is given to areas in the Aosta Valley that one frequently passes casually on the way to the busy ski resorts.

SPORTS FOR YOUR HEALTH: HOW DO WE PROTECT IT | Tennis, padel, football, running... lots of people partake in these activities on an amateur basis, but very often without adequate preparation. So what should you do? Professor Francesco Braconaro, one of the leading experts in sports medicine, answers our questions. di Rajan Gualtieri

EN. Prof. Braconaro, you have many years of experience in orthopedic and rehabilitation medicine, especially applied to the world of sport. What led you to dedicate yourself to Sports Medicine? My passion started like any kid. I always played sports growing up on reasonable levels, but never professionally so I dedicated myself to my studies. From there my affinity for sport made me fall in love with the scientific side ultimately becoming a Doctor. Having had this passion since childhood, I decided to specialize in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics and Tramatology. Today I mainly deal with injury as well as traumatic and rehabilitation aspects of athletes.

You have strong experience in particular with injuries to athletes in professional football (soccer). How have the types of traumas that an athlete suffers changed today compared to 20 years ago and how can we prevent them? Today sport is greatly influenced by scientific knowledge, especially in training methods. First of all, we have to distinguish between professional and amateur sports. The latter is an emulation of the professional one. Today’s training methods lead to an increase in the speed of athletics in every sector of sports, an increase in performance in general and consequently an increase in injuries mainly in contact sports, such as football, basketball, American football, etc. Accidents must be prevented with adequate psychological and physical preparation. When you do a sport you have to put your mind into it and you have to do what your head says and not what your body has done in the past

Who are you referring to? I am referring to people in the age group between 40 and 60 who play sports such as football, paddle, tennis and cycling, putting their bodies to the test without having experience and adequate know how of the consequences and results. It’s one thing to stress your body at 20 years old and entirely another at 40/50 years old, or even 60 years old. At these ages you are more likely to have underlying pathologies. I would like to underline that the scientific approach to sport protects the health of those who practice it. And by protecting your health you can also achieve the best results. Where do you start? Get a sports medical examination by a specialist who carries out a series of assessments to understand if you can practice it safely. Remember that in Italy there is a Ministerial Decree 02/18/1982 (and subsequent amendments) with is legislation issued precisely to protect the health of athletes who carry out competitive, non-competitive, and also professional and amateur sporting activities. As for amateur footballers, tennis players, padel players, marathon runners, etc who still train and play assiduously, as for example a 60 year old cyclist who does thousands of kilometers a year on racing bikes with a certain competitiveness; for this population ranging from 40 to 60 years of age and even beyond, the advice is to undergo diagnostic tests at Sports Medicine centers, from a Sports Doctor. An evaluation of the cardiovascular system using an electrocardiogram under stress with a maximal ergometric cycle should be baseline and never missed. At this certain age, cardiac problems linked to clinical situations that perhaps the patient (in this case the athlete) does not even know about are easily uncovered such as they could have an increase in cholesterol, or are overweight, or have arterial hypertension that has not been yet diagnosed. che vai da 40 ai 60 anni e anche oltre , il consiglio è quello di sottoporsi ad accertamenti diagnostici presso i centri di Medicina dello Sport, presso il Medico Sportivo.

the individual’s state of health is formed. Then, after a series of tests, you can hopefully start off with “I am apparently healthy.” And at that point? Any other practical advice? After having received the “green light” safely from the Sports Doctor, you must rely on those who teach sports professionally if you don’t have the knowledge such as personal trainers, athletic trainers, or even a friend who has the appropriate knowledge. Don’t forget that your Sports Doctor can be particularly useful for drawing up training programs, and for advising on correct nutrition.

Let’s go back to professional sports: today technology has helped doctors to develop new rehabilitation procedures. How do you see the use of Artificial Intelligence in this field? We will all have to deal with Artificial Intelligence according to those who are studying it and those who produce it, such as the American companies that are investing heavily in this field. Some see it as a danger but I am optimistic, because, like all innovations, it must be used “cum grano salis”, or “with a grain of salt”. We need to use it where it can be helpful. In medicine robotics already exist which allow surgeons located in Australia, South Africa or North America to remotely operate on patients thousands of kilometers away. it already exists in medical diagnostics as well. Artificial intelligence is managing to make precise diagnoses in cardiology. It can never fully replace the fundamental Doctor-Patient human relationship that this profession requires. This is a benefit for everyone. From all innovations we must take advantage of the best parts. In sports today there is a lot of technology but we have not yet arrived at Artificial Intelligence as it will be understood. So how are we using it? For example, monitoring all parameters through markers on an athlete is essential to know his state of health. It’s important to know how far he can reach, where and if he can improve and what his potential is for peak performance. I use football for example because it is the sport I have been working in for many years. Today a footballer has a GPS on him which tells us how many kilometers he travels, how many shots he takes, how many headers, etc. There is a whole series of data which is then analyzed by a team of technical staff, dedicated only to this. Even training sessions, for example, are filmed by drones

to allow us to collect the data and film the salient moments of game tactics that each coach uses, which is what I was talking about before. You have done many things in your professional life: is there still something you would like to do? Yes, I would like to contribute to improving health safety in sports. For example, improving testing protocols especially in children in order to understand what their future could be like not only as potential athletes, but above all as healthy people. Today, Sports Medicine in our country represents the only type of preventive medicine that is given to our adolescents. In football, unfortunately, we have witnessed many dramatic events, such as the last European Championships (NDR with the Danish footballer Eriksen); therefore continuing scientific research which will allow us to participate in sport with the greatest safety possible. It is clear that 100% safety is difficult to achieve, but the challenge is to no longer see people dying from Sport.

THE FIVE BEST PASTRY SHOPS IN ROME | Do you want to taste the sweetest sweets in the capital city? These not to be missed “masters” are the places to find them!

REGOLI More than a century of history, this pastry shop is the oldest in the capital (opened in 1916) and has been a real point of reference for the art of confectionery in the capital for decades. For several years there has been not only a confectionary laboratory, but also a bar where you can taste the best delicacies of the house, with coffee and cappuccino. Obviously, the lion’s share is taken by the Maritozzo, the classic sweet bun filled with whipped cream which is an ancient Roman tradition, and available in its “Lent” version, where the dough is enriched with raisins and candied oranges. But there is also no shortage of delicious beignets (even fried, during the St. Joseph period), tarts, diplomats, Bavarian creams, and the wonderful Saint Honoré cake, much loved by the local aficionados, in order to rediscover the rich and delicious flavors of the past. Come ci spiega Al Volante. TESLA MODEL 3: IN 2024 THE RESTYLING ARRIVES | New lines and innovations for the American sedan which aims to reduce production and consumption costs. But not the price. As Al Volante explains to us di Rajan Gualtieri / Fonte: alvolante.it

Six years have already passed since the introduction of the Tesla Model 3, a decidedly innovative car for its time which allowed the American company to significantly lower production costs and therefore offer the public lower prices, greatly expanding sales numbers . But now the time has come for an update for the Tesla Model 3 (which will be revealed shortly to be on sale already between the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024), at the center of which there is once again the improving efficiency and further reducing production costs. Among the techniques adopted to save money, the most important is “mega casting” (already used for the Model Y): this is the die-casting of large metal structures that take the place of elements obtained by gluing and welding hundreds of pieces together. And there is no shortage of improvements to the batteries and software. Rear-wheel drive or 4x4, it should have between approximately 350 and 500 hp. But the Tesla Model 3 will also see changes to the bodywork to refresh a style that dates back to 2017. The estimated range of the rear-wheel drive Tesla Model 3 goes from 491 to 513 km with 19” wheels and with 18” wheels it goes from 510 to 554 km. The price also increases, going from 41,490 to 42,490 euros. The performance of the Tesla Model 3 Long Range also improves, with autonomy increasing from 602 to 629 km, with 19” wheels and from 626 to 678 km, with 18” wheels (distance estimated according to the WLTP approval cycle). Also in this case the price increases by 1,000 euros, going from 48,990 to 49,990 euros.
