QUANDO IL MARE È PROTAGONISTA Si può dire che questa sia la prima vera estate di libertà dopo due anni di restrizioni dovute all’emergenza sanitaria. Abbiamo voglia di viaggiare, vivere ed esplorare… Protagonista assoluto di questo numero è il mare. Si comincia dall’Andalusia, con i suoi mille chilometri di costa, con spiagge incontaminate che possono contare su 145 bandiere blu. E poi arte, cultura, monumenti unici, divertimento. Insomma, una regione spagnola straordinaria tutta da scoprire. Ma ovviamente grande spazio è dedicato anche al mare italiano, con la sua gemma del Mediterraneo: la Sardegna. Chi decide di visitare la Sardegna partendo dalla Gallura, sa certamente che può visitare alcune delle spiagge più belle che ci siano. Questa regione rimanda quasi subito al lusso della Costa Smeralda, al glamour di Porto Cervo, alla bellezza paradisiaca dell’Arcipelago della Maddalena. TRAVELING WITHOUT CONSTRAINTS

From 12 to 14 October next the TTG Travel Experience returns to the fair of the Romagna capital Viaggiare “senza vincoli”. È questo il significato di «Unbound», il tema della 59ª edizione di TTG Travel Experience, che torna dal 12 al 14 ottobre prossimi nel quartiere fieristico di Rimini. La manifestazione di Italian Exhibition Group, insieme a SIA Hospitality Design, dedicata ai temi del contract, del design, dei servizi e, da quest’anno, al turismo open air, e SUN Beach&Outdoor Style, dedicata al mondo del turismo balneare, rappresenta il più importante marketplace italiano del turismo. Un settore che quest’anno viene rappresentato dalle tre fiere come capace di allargare i propri orizzonti e confini, superando il tradizionale concetto di vacanza e svincolando il tempo del viaggio, attraverso la scelta di mete dove vivere nuovi stimoli. Punto di partenza di questa esplorazione si confermano le destinazioni italiane. I padiglioni dell’area ITALIA, la cui superficie verrà aumentata, ospiteranno regioni, comuni, prodotti, tour operator dell’incoming, operatori del turismo enogastronomico, culturale ed esperienziale. Un’ampliata area THE WORLD vedrà come protagoniste le destinazioni internazionali che scelgono di promuoversi sul mercato domestico

italiano. La sezione storica GLOBAL VILLAGE ospiterà tour operator, crocieristica, compagnie aeree e fornitori di tecnologie e servizi. Start-up e aziende innovative del turismo saranno presentate nell’area TTG Next, focalizzata quest’anno sulla digitalizzazione del settore. TTG ripropone anche Beactive, l’area espositiva dedicata al turismo attivo, sportivo, slow, naturalistico e sostenibile. La Social Media Lounge sarà invece uno spazio dedicato a blogger e influencer per presentazioni di prodotto e lancio di novità. Al TTG saranno numerosi i talk e i progetti speciali, come Book&Go, iniziativa nata per riunire scrittori e blogger di viaggio e per raccontare nuovi modi di viaggiare, o il premio Personaggio dell’anno TTG2022, dedicato ai professionisti dell’industria del turismo che più di altri, durante l’anno, hanno saputo distinguersi. A sector that this year is represented by the three trade shows as capable of broadening its horizons and boundaries, overcoming the traditional concept of vacation and freeing up travel time, through the choice of destinations where one can experience new stimuli. The pavilions of the ITALY area, whose surface will be increased, will host regions, municipalities, products, incoming tour operators, food and wine, cultural and experiential tourism operators. Il tour Milano in battello prevede il ritrovo presso Alzaia Naviglio Grande 14: si parte con tour guidato a piedi nella zona dei Navigli e prosegue navigando a bordo di un battello. Andando per vie d’acqua cullati da un’atmosfera di nostalgica storia e dalle dolci onde dei Navigli, i partecipanti possono scoprire alcuni degli angoli più pittoreschi di Milano come il vicolo dei Lavandai, la trecentesca chiesa di San Cristoforo, il ponte dello Scodellino e le tipiche case di ringhiera. Aperto al pubblico nell’autunno del 1960 nella sede progettata dall’architetto Amedeo Albertini, Il Museo dell’auto di Torino fu completamente rinnovato e ampliato in occasione del 150° Anniversario dell’Unità d’Italia su progetto dell’architetto Cino Zucchi. Nel 2011 il MAUTO riapre, dopo quattro anni di chiusura, con il nuovo percorso allestito dallo scenografo franco-svizzero François Confino, che valorizza in modo efficace la straordinaria collezione di automobili: due anni dopo il Times lo annovera tra i 50 musei più belli al mondo.

Il Centro di Restauro supervisiona e coordina una rete di officine e specialisti del settore, che operano in collaborazione con il Museo applicando la metodologia sopra descritta e con il supporto del Centro di Documentazione. Collabora con il Centro Conservazione e Restauro La Venaria Reale e svolge attività di formazione specifica.

Nel percorso viene raccontata la storia dell’automobile, la trasformazione da mezzo di trasporto a oggetto di culto, dalle origini fino all’evoluzione contemporanea del pensiero creativo: attraverso l’evoluzione dell’auto sono analizzati i passaggi epocali della società.

FAKE. L’AUTOMOBILE TRA ORIGINALITÀ E CONTRAFFAZIONE L’automobile ha contribuito a scrivere la storia del ventesimo Secolo. Ma c’è anche chi questa storia la deforma, la trucca, la cancella, per soddisfazioni e profitti illeciti. Esce da un’avventura epica per entrare in quella del malaffare. Il Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile, in collaborazione con l’Agenzia Accise Dogane e Monopoli accende i riflettori sul lato oscuro del collezionismo. “FAKE, l’automobile tra originalità e contraffazione” è l’occasione di osservare – in un percorso progettato dal MAUTO – una galleria di falsi di notevole interesse. Confrontarli con gli originali e riflettere su un fenomeno che, negli ultimi anni, è diventato globale. La mostra è aperta fino al 29 agosto.

IL MAUTO oggi è un percorso espositivo permanente che ospita un’imponente collezione: si trovano in mostra circa 150 vetture, cui si aggiungono le vetture in prestito temporaneo. Le rimanenti 60 vetture della collezione sono conservate in uno spazio interrato, denominato “Open Garage”, accessibile solo su prenotazione. A completare il percorso museale, l’area mostre, in cui si ospitano esposizioni temporanee di approfondimento. La superficie museale di circa venti mila metri quadrati accoglie ogni anno oltre 200 mila visitatori. Oltre al percorso permanente, comprende altre importanti attività: prima fra tutte, il Centro di Documentazione, che raccoglie documenti originali relativi a vetture, personaggi, eventi che hanno fatto la storia dell’automobile: in particolare, la Biblioteca annovera 9.000 monografie, di cui circa il 50% posseduto in esclusiva; l’Emeroteca costituisce un piccolo tesoro in cui sono conservate 800 testate di argomento automobilistico, in tutte le lingue del mondo, di cui 195 possedute soltanto dal MAUTO. Inoltre, fa parte della Biblioteca anche un piccolo ma prezioso fondo di libri antichi, che custodisce al suo interno delle vere rarità sulla storia della meccanica, della fisica e delle scienze tra il Cinquecento e l’Ottocento

THE AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED AMONG ONE OF THE OLDEST OF ITS KIND, IT WAS BORN IN 1933 WITH THE FIRST EXHIBITION OF HISTORIC CARS CONCEIVED BY TWO NATIONAL MOTORING PIONEERS, CESARE GORIA GATTI AND ROBERTO BISCARETTI DI RUFFIA. CARLO BISCARETTI DI RUFFIA (SON OF ROBERTO), A TURIN ARISTOCRAT BORN IN 1879, CONCEIVED IT, GATHERED THE INITIAL COLLECTION, FOUGHT TO MAKE IT HAPPEN AND WORKED HIS WHOLE LIFE TO GIVE IT A DIGNIFIED HOME.

Open to the public in the fall of 1960 on the premises designed by architect Amedeo Albertini, the Turin Auto Museum was completely renovated and enlarged on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy based on a project by architect Cino Zucchi. In 2011 the MAUTO reopened after four years of closure, with the new path set up by the FrancoSwiss scenographer François Confino, effectively enhancing the extraordinary collection of cars. Two years later the Times ranked it among the 50 most beautiful museums in the world. Along the way, it tells the history of the car, the transformation from a means of transport to an object of worship, and from its origins to the contemporary evolution of creative thinking: the epochal passages of society are analyzed through the evolution of the car. IL MAUTO today is a permanent exhibition that houses an impressive collection: about 150 cars on display, in addition to cars on temporary loan. The remaining 60 cars of the collection are kept in an underground space, called the “Open Garage”, accessible only by reservation. The museum area of approximately twenty thousand square meters welcomes over 200 thousand visitors every year. In addition to the permanent works, it includes other important activities: first of all, the Documentation Center, which collects original documents relating to cars, characters and events that have made the history of the automobile: in particular, the Library has 9,000 monographs, of which about 50% are owned exclusively; the Newspaper Library is a small treasure in which 800 automotive publications are kept in all the languages, 195 of which are owned only by MAUTO. In addition, a small but precious collection of ancient books is also part of the Library, which houses real rarities on the history of mechanics, physics and sciences between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries There is also the Educational Center, which offers activities for schools of all levels where it has revamped its offering with a focus on courses for upper secondary schools, for scientific universities (Politecnico) and for design schools. Additionally the Congress Center hosts events, conferences and conventions. The Museum has also recently launched its own Restoration Center which carries out ordinary and extraordinary maintenance for the cars in the collection, following the scientific methodology in the diagnostic phase and the conservative restoration criteria in functional interventions. The Restoration Center supervises and coordinates a network of workshops and specialists in the sector, who work in collaboration with the Museum by applying the methodology described above and with the support of the Documentation Center. Dall’Argentario a Lampedusa: un tuffo dove l’acqua è più blu niente di più. L’estate è nel pieno e la voglia di mare pure. Si può dire che questa sia la prima vera estate di libertà dopo due anni di restrizioni dovute all’emergenza sanitaria. Abbiamo voglia di viaggiare, vivere ed esplorare… Anche in fondo al mare. Ecco, quindi, la top ten delle mete ideali dove immergersi per scoprire i fondali più belli del mare d’Italia. A stilarla sono stati gli esperti di Scubadvisor, la app interamente dedicata agli appassionati di immersioni, che permette di conoscere e localizzare le migliori location per esplorare i fondali marini, di prenotare la propria immersione nel centro diving preferito, e di leggerne descrizioni, prezzi e posizione sulla mappa per programmare le proprie uscite da soli o con gli amici. 1.LA RISERVA DI USTICA La top ten di Scubadvisor 2022 vede al primo posto della classifica Ustica, prima riserva marina protetta d’Italia fin dal 1986 e considerato dai suoi estimatori ‘il segreto meglio custodito del Mediterraneo’. Ustica ha ben 13 siti di immersione, considerai uno più affascinante dell’altro. In particolare, imperdibile, a circa 500 metri al largo della costa nord dell’isola, la Secca della Colombara, dove si possono ammirare enormi cernie, dentici, stelle e spugne marine, ricci di mare, polpi e, soprattutto, grossi banchi di ricciole, barracuda e murene. Da una decina di anni, inoltre, c’è anche il relitto di una nave mercantile che trasportava blocchi di marmo, arenata a 24 metri di

profondità e spezzata proprio a ridosso della secca. Un piccolo Titanic nel cuore del Mediterraneo. 2.NELLA GROTTA DI NEREO Al secondo posto di nuovo la Sardegna con la Grotta di Nereo, al di sotto del promontorio calcareo di Capo Caccia. Qui, tra i 15 e i 30 metri di profondità, c’è un mondo subacqueo nascosto, dal fascino unico: la cavità marina sommersa più grande del Mediterraneo e di tutta Europa, con una galleria principale di 300 metri e uno sviluppo di tunnel e camere secondarie che le permette di raggiungere complessivamente il mezzo chilometro di lunghezza, popolato da cernie, saraghi, scorfani e triglie, e dove il corallo rosso è l’assoluto protagonista. I dintorni della grotta di Nereo non sono riservati esclusivamente alle immersioni in profondità, è possibile abbinare, infatti, attività di snorkeling in acqua e trekking in superficie, tra pareti verticali e canyon. 3.IL PARADISO DI LAMPEDUSA Al terzo posto Lampedusa, autentico paradiso per gli amanti del diving. Fra gli innumerevoli siti sottomarini frequentati dagli appassionati Scubadvisor segnala l’immersione a sud dell’Isola dei Conigli, alla scoperta della statua in bronzo che rappresenta la Madonna del Mare. La statua, opera dello scultore padovano Giorgio Crosta fu anche benedetta da papa Wojtyla nel 1979, in piazza San Pietro a Roma.

4-SOTTO IL FARO DI GALLIPOLI In quarta posizione la Secca del Faro di Gallipoli. Qui immergendosi sotto la guida di uno dei diving centre locali, si scopre un mondo sottomarino incredibile, ideale per chi desidera una discesa negli abissi un po’ più impegnativa, con una presenza notevole di corallo nero, di gorgonia rossa, gorgonia gialla e della rara gerardia savaglia. Tra le rocce, inoltre, è molto facile incontrare grossi esemplari di aragoste, ma anche il particolarissimo riccio matita. 5-NELLA POMPEI SOMMERSA Al quinto posto c’è il Parco sommerso di Baia, a nord del golfo di Napoli, definito anche la Pompei sommersa. Si tratta di un’area marina protetta, istituita come tale esattamente vent’anni fa e che costituisce il sito archeologico sommerso più importante d’Italia. Il suo straordinario valore è dato dall’ottimo stato di conservazione dei reperti archeologici, oltre che dal loro valore storico archeologico oggettivo. Mosaici, tracce di affreschi, sculture, tracciati stradali e colonne, sono sommersi a circa 5 metri sotto il livello del mare tra anemoni stelle marine e branchi di castagnole. Un’escursione sottomarina adatta anche a subacquei alle prime armi. 6- IL SANTUARIO DI GIANNUTRI Ci spostiamo in Toscana per il sesto posto dove si piazza

il Parco Marino dell’isola di Giannutri che fa parte del cosiddetto Santuario dei Cetacei, un’enorme area marina compresa tra la Liguria e la Sardegna per la protezione dei mammiferi marini. Le insenature più belle dell’isola di Giannutri si raggiungono in barca o camminando per i sentieri presenti sull’isola. 7-IL RELITTO DELL’ELBA Al settimo posto non poteva mancare l’Isola d’Elba, dove i luoghi per esplorare il profondo blu sono numerosi. Il più bello è il sito del relitto dell’Elviscot. Si tratta di una piccola nave che naufragò nel 1972 e che è adagiata su un fianco sui fondali fra gli 8 e i 12 metri di profondità. Essendo stata messa in sicurezza i sub possano entrarvi e visitare quello che rimane della sala macchine, con il motore ancora ben visibile, e percorrere il corridoio che conduce alla plancia di comando tra i tantissimi pesci che hanno trovato rifugio nei suoi anfratti. 8- FRA LE CERNIE DELLA TAVOLARA All’ottavo posto si torna nuovamente in Sardegna alla Secca del Papa, per l’esattezza all’isola di Tavolara, di fronte a San Teodoro. Un vero paradiso protetto come oasi naturale, non a caso si può raggiungere il punto immersione solamente con i diving del luogo. Bellissime le pareti di gorgonie monitorate costantemente dai biologi marini e unica l’esperienza di nuotare tra le cernie giganti indifferenti alla presenza dei subacquei. Con un

po’ di fortuna è possibile assistere alla riproduzione delle murene, anche loro normalmente incuranti degli ospiti umani. 9- L’ELFANTE DELLE TREMITI Al nono posto si piazza lo Scoglio dell’Elefante alle Isole Tremiti in Puglia. Lo scoglio è una roccia prossima alla Punta di San Domino, alta circa 20 metri e che sembra scolpita dal vento proprio a farle assumere le sembianze di un pachiderma di roccia. È l’ideale per abbinare una esperienza di trekking raggiungendo il luogo a piedi per poi tuffarsi. I fondali di massimo 2 metri permettono di ammirare uno dei migliori paesaggi incontaminati delle

Tremiti. 10. LA SECCA DELLA FORMICA Troviamo al decimo posto la Secca della Formica, a circa un miglio dal porto di Porticello, vicino Palermo. Una sorta di montagna che sprofonda per 60 metri con due estremità che affiorano sulla superfice dell’acqua. Ai tempi dei romani e dei fenici il luogo fu teatro di disastrosi naufragi mentre oggi è uno dei paradisi delle immersioni. I suoi fondali poco profondi la rendono adatta anche allo snorkeling e ai subacquei meno esperti. Tra le altre cose è uno dei siti sottomarini dove è ancora possibile ammirare un’autentica rarità come il corallo nero.

5-IN SUBMERGED POMPEII In fifth place is the submerged park of Baia North of the Gulf of Naples, also known as submerged Pompeii. It is a protected marine area, established as such exactly twenty years ago and which is the most important submerged archaeological site in Italy. Its extraordinary value is given by the excellent state of conservation of the archaeological finds, as well as by their objective historical archaeological value. Mosaics, traces of frescoes, sculptures, road layouts and columns are submerged about 5 meters below sea level among starfish anemones and schools of damselfish. This underwater excursion is also suitable for novice divers. 6- THE SANCTUARY OF GIANNUTRI In Tuscany we find sixth place where the Marine Park of the island of Giannutri is located, which is part of the so-called Sanctuary of the Cetaceans, a huge marine area between Liguria and Sardinia for the

protection of marine mammals. The most beautiful coves of the island of Giannutri can be reached by boat or by walking along the paths on the island. 7-THE WRECK OF THE ELBA In seventh place, the Island of Elba can not be missed, where the places to explore the deep blue are numerous. The most beautiful site is the Elviscot wreck. It is a small ship that was wrecked in 1972 and which lies on its side on the seabed between 8 and 12 meters deep. The region, located in the north-eastern area of Sardinia from Coghinas river to Monte Nieddu in San Teodoro, and including the Costa Smeralda, also boasts a grand archaeological history, as well as various natural sites of interest.

Chi decide di visitare la Sardegna partendo dalla Gallura, sa certamente che può visitare alcune delle spiagge più belle che ci siano in Sardegna. Questa regione rimanda quasi subito al lusso della Costa Smeralda, al glamour di Porto Cervo, alla bellezza paradisiaca dell’Arcipelago della Maddalena. Ma non tutti sanno che esiste un tesoro spesso sconosciuto nell’interno della Gallura, un tesoro dal valore inestimabile. CURIOSITÀ: PERCHÉ SI CHIAMA GALLURA? Prima di addentrarci nella scoperta del territorio val la pena capire l’origine del suo nome. Sono tante le ipotesi sull’origine del nome di questa zona; la più accreditata sostiene che la Gallùra deve il suo nome al fatto di affacciarsi sul Fretum

Gallicum (oggi Bocche di Bonifacio), detto stretto dei Galli perché dopo le invasioni barbariche la Corsica appartenne ai franchi della Gallia. LE BOTTEGHE DI SANTA TERESA Iniziamo il nostro tour dalla cittadina che prende il nome della regione: Santa Teresa di Gallura. Situata nel punto più a nord di tutta la Sardegna, è un borgo turistico con una simpatica passeggiata che si snoda tra la piazzetta, le botteghe artigiane e il lungomare che termina in prossimità della torre aragonese, sulla famosa spiaggia di Rena Bianca. La celebre Valle della Luna di Capo Testa, con i suoi massi di granito lisci affacciati sulla Corsica, è indubbiamente uno degli scenari più impressionanti di tutta

la Sardegna. Qui ogni anno nel mese di agosto il Festival Musica sulle Bocche vede le performance dei migliori jazzisti del panorama internazionale tra le vie del centro, i massi di granito e le spiagge di questo frizzante comune. STORIA E CULTURA DA VEDERE Come detto, oltre al mare c’è di più. I siti di interesse culturale e storico in Gallura sono davvero tanti e gli appassionati potranno scoprirli tutti o costruire un itinerario personalizzato. Tra le mete interessanti Fortezza di Monte Altura, a Palau (SS), una fortezza militare del XIX sec. Inserita in una fitta macchia mediterranea, domina le acque dell’Arcipelago di La Maddalena e quelle corse e si trova a due passi dalle prestigiose ville di Porto Rafael.

C’è poi il complesso Nuragico La Prisgiona, ad Arzachena (SS). Il monumento è composto da una torre centrale e da altre due torri laterali protette da una cinta muraria attorno alla quale si estendeva il villaggio nuragico di 90 capanne, non ancora tutte scavate. Il sito è indubbiamente uno dei più importanti dell’Isola e risale all’età del Bronzo Medio-Tardo e del Bronzo Recente (1.500 a.C.). Tra i musei il MEOC - il più grande museo etnografico in Sardegna - racchiude in sé tutta la ricchezza della storia, delle tradizioni e della cultura popolare gallurese, dal 1600 ai nostri giorni. Ospita anche la Mostra Permanente del Tappeto Aggese, un’ampia sala tessitura per la dimostrazione della tecnica e organizza

laboratori come quello sulla lavorazione della lana o del pane. Interessante anche il Museo del banditismo che offre uno spaccato sul fenomeno di cui Aggius è stato l’epicentro per circa tre secoli. Merita sicuramente una visita anche Tempio Pausania (SS). La città sorge su un altopiano granitico fitto di sughereti cui fanno da sfondo le cime del monte Limbara, a due passi dal comune di Calangianus, secondo al mondo per l’esportazione del sughero. Tra le vie del grazioso centro storico è possibile visitare la prima e unica boutique di abiti ottenuti interamente da questo materiale prezioso. LE BELLEZZE NATURALISTICHE Mare a parte – ci arriveremo – la Gallura offre scorci e scenari naturali davvero unici. Qualche esempio? Sicuramente Valle della Luna, detta anche “La piana dei massi” regala uno dei panorami che rispecchiano al meglio le peculiarità della campagna gallurese: massi di granito e natura a perdita d’occhio dal punto panoramico che domina la vallata. La Roccia dell’Orso, a Palau (SS), invece, è una collina granitica di 122 metri, modellata nel tempo dagli agenti atmosferici, a forma di orso che guarda verso il mare. L’Orso risale, come tutte le rocce di questa zona, al tardo paleozoico, fra 340 e 250 milioni di anni fa. E, sempre in tema di animali, c’è anche la Roccia dell’Elefante, a Castelsardo (SS). Si tratta di un masso alto 4 metri notevolmente eroso dagli agenti atmosferici che gli hanno conferito il singolare aspetto di un pachiderma seduto. Da vedere, poi, la Grotta di Nettuno, la più famosa e grande di tutta la Sardegna. Lunga più di 4km (solo 1km visitabile ai non speleologi), risale a c.a. 2.000.000 anni fa, ed è raggiungibile attraverso una gradinata a piedi o in barca. Punta Li Canneddi è la spettacolare costa che si estende da Isola Rossa sino a Costa paradiso e offre scenari unici fatti di anfratti di granito rosso che sprofondano in trasparenze verde smeraldo. Questo tratto di costa, poco noto alle guide turistiche ma ben noto a noi galluresi, ha preservato la sua bellezza selvaggia che si può osservare anche sott’acqua grazie ai fondali marini che conservano una maggiore quantità di conchiglie, specie animali e vegetali. Infine, è bene sapere che gli olivastri più vecchi d’Europa si trovano proprio in Gallura, nel comune di Luras, sulle colline presso il lago artificiale di Liscia. Vere e proprie cattedrali viventi, il più grande dei due (dichiarato monumento naturale) è alto 14 metri, con una circonferenza di circa 12 metri. L’età dei due esemplari di “Olea europaea var”, determinata con criteri scientifici dall’Università degli Studi di Sassari, è leggendaria: 2500 e 4000 anni. E OVVIAMENTE IL MARE Ovviamente doveroso dedicare un paragrafo al mare della Gallura dato che qui si estende una delle

spiagge rosa più famose al mondo, quella dell’Isola di Budelli. La sabbia (vietatissimo prelevarla) è ricca di minuscoli frammenti di corallo, granito, conchiglie e gusci di molluschi. Ma la spettacolare colorazione si deve a un microrganismo di colore rosa che vive nelle praterie di posidonia. Per il resto, difficilissimo scegliere le spiagge più belle di quest’area; alcune talmente famose da essere prese d’assalto in alta stagione, altre più nascoste ma non per questo meno belle. Un luogo davvero magico e che conquista per natura selvaggia e contrasto cromatico tra il verde della vegetazione che spicca sulle rocce granitiche e le infinite sfumature del mare è Cala Corsara, una piccola e paradisiaca baia sulla costa meridionale dell’isola di Spargi, nell’arcipelago della Maddalena. Dai colori abbaglianti e dalla limpida purezza a pochi passi dal centro del paese, c’è poi La Rena Bianca, la spiaggia cittadina di Santa Teresa Gallura lunga circa 700 metri, con fondale basso e sabbia soffice, sottile e bianchissima. Cala Coticcio, poi, è un lido caratterizzato da sabbia sottile, candida e bagnata da un mare con tonalità cristalline. Il tutto incorniciato da scogli di roccia rosata e arbusti di macchia mediterranea. Ad Arzachena c’è invece la Spiaggia del Principe, una delle più belle della Gallura e della Costa Smeralda e il cui nome è legato a una presunta preferenza del principe Aga Khan per questo angolo di mare. Segnaliamo, infine – ma l’elenco potrebbe continuare - la spiaggia di Palau, incantevole località in cui si insinuano piccole calette nascoste tra gli scogli e lunghe spiagge attrezzate con tutti i comfort, e quella de La Licciola, nella classifica delle migliori 50 spiagge del Mediterraneo secondo il Times, che regala fondali bassi che consentono ai bambini di fare tuffi e divertirsi in tutta sicurezza e una fauna marina che può regalare forti emozioni a chi fa snorkeling. A TAVOLA CON I PRODOTTI TIPICI La Sardegna è maestra in quanto a sapori e tradizioni culinarie, e la Gallura non fa eccezione, riconfermandosi una terra da sempre legata alla coltivazione e alla pastorizia. Partiamo, però dal vino. La Gallura è conosciuta per essere l’areale del Vermentino di Gallura, che ha ottenuto la DOCG nel 1996, unico riconoscimento in Sardegna, che disciplina la produzione dell’omonimo vitigno. L’importanza del vino gallurese è sottolineata anche dall’esistenza del Museo del Vino – Enoteca Regionale di Berchidda che opera per la sua valorizzazione. Passando al cibo, invece, diversi sono i piatti della zona che potrete assaggiare. Those who visit Sardinia, especially Gallura, certainly know that they will see some of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. This region almost immediately makes you think of the luxury of the Costa Smeralda, the glamor of Porto Cervo, and the paradisiacal beauty of the Maddalena Archipelago. But not everyone knows that there is a hidden treasure in the interior of Gallura, a treasure of enormous value. FUN FACT: WHY IS IT NAMED GALLURA? Before visiting the area, it is worthwhile to understand the origin of its name. There are many hypotheses on the origin of the name of this area; the most accredited is that Gallura got its name from the fact that it overlooks the Fretum Gallicum (today Bocche di Bonifacio), called the Strait of the Gauls because after the barbarian invasions, Corsica belonged to the Franks of Gaul. THE WORKSHOPS OF SANTA TERESA We start our tour in the town namesake of the region: Santa Teresa di Gallura. Located in the northernmost point of Sardinia, it is a tourist village with a nice promenade that winds through the square. The artisan shops and the promenade end near the Aragonese tower, on the famous Rena Bianca beach. The famous Valle della Luna of Capo Testa, with its smooth granite boulders overlooking Corsica, is undoubtedly one of the most impressive scenarios in all of Sardinia. Here every year in August the Music Festival on the Bocche features street performances by the best jazz players on the international scene in front of granite boulders and beaches of this sparkling town. HISTORY AND CULTURE TO SEE As already mentioned, there is a lot more than just the sea. There are so many sites of cultural and historical interest in Gallura and enthusiasts can discover them all or build a personalized itinerary. Among the most interesting of destinations is the Fortress of Monte Altura, in Palau (SS), a military fortress of the nineteenth century. Inserted in a dense Mediterranean scrub, it dominates the waters of the La

Maddalena Archipelago and the Corsican ones and is located a stone’s throw from the prestigious villas of Porto Rafael. Then there is the Nuragic complex La Prisgiona, in Arzachena (SS), which is a monument composed of a central tower and two other lateral towers protected by a wall around which the nuragic village of 90 huts extended, and not yet all excavated. The site is undoubtedly one of the most important on the island and dates back to the Middle-Late Bronze Age and the Recent Bronze Age (1,500 BC). Among the museums, the MEOC - the largest ethnographic museum in Sardinia - embodies all the richness of history, traditions and popular culture of Gallura, from 1600 to the present day. It also hosts the Permanent Exhibition of the Aggese Carpet, a large weaving room for demonstrations which organizes workshops such as the one on the processing of wool or bread. The Banditry Museum is also very interesting and offers an insight into the phenomenon of which Aggius was the epicenter for about three centuries. Tempio Pausania (SS) is also definitely worth a visit. The city stands on a granite plateau dense with cork trees which are in the background of the Mount Limbara peaks, and just a stone’s throw from the town of Calangianus, second in the world for the export of cork. Among the streets in this charming old town you can visit the first and only clothing boutique of clothes made entirely from this precious material. NATURAL BEAUTIES In addition to the sea, which we will get to - Gallura offers truly unique view and natural scenery. Here are a few examples. The Valle della Luna, also known as “The plain of boulders” offers one of the views that best reflect the peculiarities of the Gallura countryside: granite boulders and nature as far as the eye can see from the vantage point overlooking the valley. The Bear’s Rock, in Palau (SS), on the other hand, is a 122-meter granite hill, shaped over time by atmospheric agents, in the shape of a bear looking towards the sea. The Bear, like all the rocks in this area, dates back to the Late Paleozoic, between 340 and 250 million years ago. And on the subject of animals, there is also Elephant Rock, in Castelsardo (SS). It is a 4 meter high boulder considerably eroded by atmospheric agents which give it the singular appearance of a seated pachyderm. The Grotta di Nettuno is a must see and is the most famous and largest grotto in all of Sardinia. More than 4km long (only 1km open to non-speleologists), it dates back around 2,000,000 years ago, and can be reached via a flight of steps on foot or by boat. Punta Li Canneddi is the spectacular coast that extends from Isola Rossa to Costa Paradiso and offers unique scenery made of red granite ravines that sink into emerald green transparencies. This stretch of this coast, little known to tourist guides but well known to those in Gallura, has preserved its wild beauty which can also be seen even underwater thanks to the seabed which conserves a great quantity of shells, animal and plant species. Finally, it is good to know that the oldest olive trees in Europe are found in Gallura, in the municipality of Luras, 43

found on the hills near the artificial lake of Liscia. Like cathedrals, the larger of the two (declared a natural monument) is 14 meters high, with a circumference of about 12 meters. The ages of the two specimens of “Olea europaea var”, determined with scientific criteria by the University of Studies of Sassari, are legendary: 2500 and 4000 years. AND OF COURSE, THE SEA Obviously, we are dedicating a paragraph to the sea of Gallura given that it is one of the most famous pink beaches in the world, found on the Island of Budelli. The sand (strictly forbidden to take) is full of tiny fragments of coral, granite, shells and mollusk shells. But the spectacular coloring is due to a pink microorganism that lives in the Posidonia meadows. As for the other beaches, it is very difficult to choose the most beautiful in the area; some are so famous that they are slammed in high season, others more hidden but no less beautiful. A truly magical place that conquers its wild nature and chromatic contrast between the green of the vegetation that stands out on the granite rocks and the infinite shades of the sea is Cala Corsara, a small and paradisiacal bay on the southern coast of the island of Spargi, in the archipelago of the Magdalene. With dazzling colors and clear purity just a few steps from the town center, there is La Rena Bianca which is the city beach of Santa Teresa Gallura and is about 700 meters long, with a shallow seabed and soft, thin and very white sand. Cala Coticcio is a beach characterized by fine white sand bathed by a sea with crystalline shades. All framed by pink rocks and Mediterranean scrub shrubs. In Arzachena there is the Spiaggia del Principe, one of the most beautiful in Gallura and the Costa Smeralda and whose name is linked to an alleged preference of Prince Aga Khan for this corner of the sea. Finally, we point out - but the list goes on - the beach of Palau, an enchanting place where you find small coves hidden among the rocks and long beaches equipped with all comforts. While La Licciola, ranked one of the best 50 beaches of the Mediterranean according to the Times, offers shallow waters that allow children to dive and have fun in complete safety and marine fauna that impress you with emotions for those who snorkel. AT THE TABLE WITH TYPICAL PRODUCTS Sardinia is a master in terms of flavors and culinary traditions, and Gallura is no exception, reconfirming

itself as a land that has always been linked to cultivation and pastoralism. Let’s start, however, with wine. Gallura is known for being the region for Vermentino di Gallura, which obtained the DOCG in 1996 and the only recognition in Sardinia, which governs the production of the vine of the same name. The importance of Gallura wine is also underlined by the existence of the Wine Museum - Regional Enoteca of Berchidda which works for the promotion and enhancement. Moving on to food, however, there are several dishes in the area that you can taste. Pulilgioni dulci are sweet ravioli that contain a filling where fresh cheese, or ricotta combined with a hint of sugar, and the light citrus fruit of lemon blend in an amazing contrast. The Gallura cuata soup is a dish made up of homemade bread stale, aged pecorino, fresh cow’s milk, spices and chopped parsley, all softened with cow’s meat broth and cooked in the oven. Roasted or garlicky zerri are a quality of fish that is cooked roasted and seasoned with brine, or fried with a sauce based on oil, vinegar, garlic and parsley, and the amaretti di Luras, very soft biscuits with almond paste, are considered the best in the area. Before getting up from the table, however, you cannot miss Filuferru, the typical Sardinian brandy obtained from double distillation of wines at a controlled temperature.

Penso comunque che ognuno di noi abbia una vena romantica e spera che le problematiche si risolvano con il buon senso, con l’amore per il prossimo, non con violenza o l’ostilità». Romantic è una raccolta eterogenea dei sei inediti quattro sono in inglese (Romantic Song, If I love you, Loneliness, Prisoner), uno in italiano (Fino all’ultimo respiro scritto da Maurizio Fabrizio) e uno in napoletano Ricuordate in duetto con Lina Sastri. Tra questi spicca anche Take It As It Comes, la versione inglese di Prendila così di Battisti. «Ho voluto riprendere la versione che lo stesso Battisti registrò nel periodo di “Images”. Nel disco ci sono atmosfere romantiche e tante sfaccettature dei miei ascolti. Un mix di sonorità e ritmo tra brani vecchi e nuovi che mi hanno colpito e coinvolto. Come “What’s Going On” di Marvin Gaye, un classico del mio repertorio in una veste downbeat, molto più rilassata dell’originale. Sul palco sono accompagnato da una magnifica band di nove elementi, tra cui una sezione fiati con sax, tromba e trombone». Un bel percorso? «In famiglia c’erano mia nonna e mio papà che cantavano, avevo un bagaglio che spaziava dagli anni Trenta agli Ottanta Sono cresciuto con i Pink Floyd e il rock. Adoro la musica americana. Ho amato visceralmente James Brown e le sue incredibili spaccate.» Nel disco anche la siciliana “Tu malatia” scritta da Stefano Biondi, suo padre, scomparso nel 1998, che fu cantante e compositore. «Lui è sempre stato un cantautore, anche se non è mai riuscito a spendersi al cento per cento nella carriera. Fino al 1982, quando “Tu malatia” vinse il Festival della Nuova Canzone Siciliana condotto da Pippo Baudo e lui fu premiato come innovatore della canzone siciliana.». Prima del grande successo anche tanti anni di gavetta. La musica sempre al primo posto? «Da bambino facevo parte del coro, ed è incredibile che ancora oggi ricordi le parole in latino di alcuni canti gregoriani. Ho iniziato a cantare per strada, a fare le piazze a 13 anni. Poi ho lavorato sulle navi da crociera, e macinato chilometri e chilometri in macchina da una città all’altra per suonare con gli strumenti e i musicisti ammassati.». Il bilancio è positivo? «Il mio motto, una sorta di mantra e modus vivendi è: “Barra dritta e sguardo al futuro, andiamo sempre al meglio”. Non vivo di rimpianti o sensi di colpa. Sono un uomo con i piedi ben piantati a terra. Un pragmatico che nella vita si prende tutti i suoi rischi. In questi ultimi due anni sono stato molto vicino alla mia famiglia e ai figli (ne 47

Among these, Take It As It Comes, the English version of Take It As It Comes, stands out. «I wanted to resume the version that Battisti himself recorded in the period of“ Images ”. In the disc there are romantic atmospheres and many facets of my listening. A mix of sounds and rhythms between old and new songs that struck me and involved me. Like "What's Going On" by Marvin Gaye, a classic from my repertoire in a downbeat guise, much more relaxed than the original. «Ho scritto due commedie per il cinema. Dopo il miracolo del mio primo film “A Napoli non piove mai” sto lavorando su un nuovo soggetto. Una commedia con una produzione francese. Purtroppo in Italia fatico un po’. Forse sono troppo rivoluzionario? E allora proviamo proprio con chi la rivoluzione l’ha fatta davvero!». L’attore napoletano Sergio Assisi, 50 anni, scherza ma non troppo, sui suoi progetti futuri dopo il debutto alla regia. Ospite di AmiCorti, International Film Festival di Peveragno in provincia di Cuneo, si racconta a cuore aperto: dall’amore per il teatro al rapporto con il padre, fino al potere dell’arte di rompere le regole. Senza dimenticare Lina Wertmuller che lo ha diretto in “Ferdinando e Carolina”: «Mi ha insegnato che se non si vive creando non ha senso essere sulla Terra», esordisce. Il Festival AmiCorti IFF è nato con l’obiettivo di educare, diffondere la cultura cinematografica e sensibilizzare attraverso le opere su temi come bullismo, violenza, fragilità e women empowerment. Com’è oggi la situazione in Italia? «La settima arte è sempre stata un mezzo di comunicazione per raccontare la società. Dai film di guerra che cercano di tenere viva la memoria, alle pellicole che affrontano temi come bullismo, violenza di genere ecc. Il cinema ha il potere di ricordare all’umanità quanto abbiamo ancora bisogno di migliorare anche attraverso storie purtroppo tristi d’involuta umanità». In passato ha mai subito episodi di bullismo? «Alle scuole elementari, alle medie e purtroppo anche alle superiori. Mi hanno persino spento una sigaretta in faccia, lasciandomi un segno che da anni nascondo sotto la barba. Fortunatamente la mia sensibilità mi faceva sentire diverso e migliore. Non mi sono fatto piegare dai soprusi e ho cercato sempre conforto nel mio essere diversamente intelligente». L’arte riesce ancora ad avere un ruolo rivoluzionario? «L’arte è sempre rivoluzione. Mi piace il significato della parola. Significa rivolta per la soluzione, rievoluzione. Il punto non è tanto la mancanza d’idee, ma la difficoltà contemporanea di potersi veramente esprimere in maniera rivoluzionaria. Il costo dell’arte è alto, rischioso. I grandi e veri artisti sono dei visionari, prevedono e guardano al futuro. Le persone meno sensibili ovviamente lo comprenderanno sempre dopo. Il destino dell’arte è sempre l’attesa che essa arrivi. Come la rivoluzione di un pianeta attorno al Sole si aspetta da sempre che compia il suo giro». Mi sembra che si sia allontanato dalla fiction televisiva, come mai? «Mi sono allontanato dalla tv? O forse dobbiamo cercare nelle scelte editoriali della tv? Agli altri i la risposta. Io ho ancora tanto da dire e tante idee da realizzare, e colgo l’occasione per proporle. Proprio come quei grandi artisti del passato sto solo pagando il prezzo del mio pensiero. Attendo la mia rivoluzione».

Il teatro resta sempre la sua grande passione? «Il primo amore è stato davvero il teatro. Ho debuttato come Mercuzio in “Romeo e Giulietta”. Sul palco ho compreso che il mio posto nel mondo era lì e lo spettacolo la mia vita e ossessione. Così ho messo il mio narcisismo al servizio del pubblico. Già a otto anni mi esibivo con scenette, sketch, e scherzi solo per far ridere gli altri. Una volta, quando avevo undici anni, simulai persino una caduta dalle scale per divertimento. Il problema è che mi feci male veramente. Oggi il Teatro sta faticando molto. Non oso fare previsioni, non posso fare altro che sperare che si riprenda da tutti i colpi che sta subendo». Regista, attore, scrittore e produttore, quale abito preferisce? «Mi trovo perfettamente a mio agio in tutti. A oggi forse preferirei essere dietro la macchina per avere la possibilità di dare forma ai miei sogni, come mi ha insegnato Lina Wertmuller, a cui devo tutto da un punto di vista umano e professionale». Quale riconoscimento importante ha avuto nella sua carriera? «Al di là degli inutili premi, è un bigliettino che mi ha scritto una madre per la propria bambina, che conservo sempre. Mi ringraziava del fatto che fossi riuscito a farla sorridere anche durante la malattia, e sperava che fossi davvero così come mi si vede. La risposta è si. Indosso maschere per mostrare meglio la mia. Spero solo di avere ancora la possibilità di far sorride le persone». Condivide un rapporto meraviglioso con suo papà. La saggezza della vecchiaia, una grande risorsa per i giovani? «Ho amato mio padre e la sua sapienza in maniera spropositata. Ogni giorno in cui mi trovo ad affrontare un nuovo problema mi vengono in mente le sue frasi e le sue sagge soluzioni. La più bella che ricordo è: “Diventa essenziale, prendila come viene!”». Invecchiare la spaventa? «Temo la malattia più della vecchiaia: per tornare ai pianeti, sono a oltre la metà del giro ma ho ancora tempo, per credere e sognare. L’unico modo per non dare forza alle paure è non parlarne, come se non esistessero, anche se non è facile. Con le parole si può andare ovunque, oltre se stessi. Sembriamo tutti esseri umani stupendi, buoni, bravi e saggi ma siamo solo esseri umani che brancolano nel buio, cercando di fare luce con le proprie visioni». “I wrote two comedies for the cinema. Qui ci si potrà abbeverare alle vecchie fonti e proseguire il cammino verso luoghi quali: San Pietro, Tofori dove si potranno mangiare le “torte coi becchi” e proseguire poi verso S. Gennaro. A Gragnano poi siamo immersi nelle vigne che lasciamo per arrivare al famoso Quercione di Pinocchio. Da qui si raggiunge Porcari dove ci viene offerto un’altro spuntino, e con la pancia piena ci si avventura verso Segromigno e poi finalmente all’arrivo di Marlia. Nell’aeroporto internazionale Leonardo da Vinci di Roma Fiumicino non mancano numerosi servizi dedicati anche ai bambni in viaggio: scopriamoli insieme Ora che finalmente si è tornati a viaggiare verso tutte le più suggestive destinazioni nazionali e internazionali, è bello riscoprire il piacere di un viaggio con tutta la famiglia. Quando poi in aeroporto ci sono servizi “family friendly”, dedicati anche e soprattutto a chi viaggia con figli piccoli, tutto diventa più semplice. I locali dove si beve il buon vino dei Castelli Romani e si assaggiano le specialità della tradizione culinaria laziale sono infatti tipicamente chiamati “fraschette”, oppure, al massimo, osterie. Il termine “fraschetta” viene dalle origini di questi locali, che risalgono addirittura all’antica Roma, e che inizialmente erano solo dei piccoli luoghi di ristoro per assaggiare il vino novello, e che quindi rimanevano aperti per un periodo molto limitato di tempo. Il nome viene dal fatto che i produttori, che insieme al vino offrivano dei tipici prodotti salati di accompagnamento, usavano segnalare la loro disponibilità all’accoglienza dei clienti con una frasca appesa all’esterno del locale. Ancora oggi, le “fraschette” sono tipiche dei Castelli Romani, tra Frascati e dintorni, e non c’è nulla di meglio che gustare i loro prodotti tipici all’aperto, magari la sera, quando le temperature si fanno piacevoli: la vicinanza a Roma rende possibile godersi una serata in compagnia tornando poi in città senza problemi. OSTERIA N. 1 Ad Ariccia, tutti la conoscono: è ricavata da una vecchia cantina, che il proprietario, Monaldo, ha trasformato in fraschetta nel lontano 2001. Si servono deliziosi prodotti tipici, come l’immancabile porchetta IGP di Ariccia, ma anche altri salumi e formaggi del Lazio, mozzarella di bufala e il delizioso pane di Genzano cotto a legna. Vengono proposti quattro menu fissi, tra i 17,50 e i 22 euro, che offrono vari antipasti, primi e secondi della tradizione, tutti preparati espressi sul momento. Il pranzo o la cena goliardica tra amici qui sono assolutamente serviti! LA FRASCHETTA DE SORA INES Sempre ad Ariccia, ecco un’altra tipica fraschetta a conduzione familiare, aperta da nonna Ines e oggi gestita dalla nipote Romina. Oltre al tipico arredamento di questi locali, tra mobili in legno e salumi appesi alle pareti, troviamo una deliziosa atmosfera conviviale, e spesso pranzi e cene sono accompagnati da “Enzo der Tufello”, cantante di allegri e divertenti stornelli romani. Ottima la porchetta, ovviamente, sempre calda e saporita, e poi ci sono tutti i piatti tipici della tradizione romana. Non fatevi sfuggire i fritti pastellati di antipasto, e i dolci per finire in bellezza: fantastici, e rigorosamente fatti in casa. Vi consigliamo, in particolare, il tiramisù. FRASCHETTA DAI FRATELLI Ariccia è di sicuro uno dei luoghi migliori per conoscere le migliori fraschette intorno alla Capitale, e lo dimostra anche questo locale, piccolo, accogliente, ben arredato e con il personale davvero simpatico. Dagli antipasti ai dolci fatti in casa, tutto è molto buono e si mangia davvero bene. Inutile dire che, anche in questo caso, trovandoci ad Ariccia, il piatto forte è la porchetta, ma lasciatevi tentare anche dalle mitiche fettuccine al cinghiale, e anche dagli altri primi piatti tipici della tradizione romana, tutti fatti con ingredienti freschissimi e di grande qualità. Se avete familiari o amici celiaci, potete portarli in questa fraschetta senza problemi, perché si servono anche piatti senza glutine. Menu fisso a prezzi davvero competitivi: si parte da un minimo di 15 euro! LA FRASCHETTA DI PADRE IN FIGLIO Spostiamoci ora a Castel Gandolfo, dove troviamo una fraschetta che ha avuto l’onore di vincere una puntata del programma 4 Ristoranti di Alessandro Borghese. Il nome non è scelto a caso: è stato il “padre” Alfredo ad aprirla, 15 anni fa, e oggi è gestita dai figli, Giorgia e Gianmarco, insieme a nonna Elsa che aiuta in cucina, e agli altri familiari che si adoperano in sala. L’arredamento è quello che potreste aspettarvi dalla tipica fraschetta romana, dalle tovaglie a quadri bianchi e rossi a tavoli e sedie in legno. Il bancone dei formaggi e dei salumi è in bella vista e pieno di prelibatezze. E se volete scostarvi dai primi tipici della tradizione romana, quali carbonara e gricia, non mancano anche delizie come le pappardelle al cinghiale o i ravioli di porchetta. I prezzi sono un po’ sopra la media delle fraschette, ma la qualità dei prodotti li giustificano ampiamente. LA FRASCHETTA DE SORA INES Also in Ariccia, this is another typical family-run fraschetta, opened by grandmother Ines and now managed by her granddaughter Romina. It goes without saying that, also in this case, located in Ariccia, the main dish is porchetta, but let yourself be tempted also by the legendary fettuccine with wild boar, and by the other first courses of typical Roman tradition all made with fresh and high quality ingredients. If you have celiac family or friends, you can take them to this fraschetta without problems because gluten-free dishes are also served. Fixed menu at very competitive prices: starting from a minimum of 15 euros! LA FRASCHETTA DI PADRE IN FIGLIO Let’s move to Castel Gandolfo, where we find a small location that had the honor of winning an episode of Alessandro Borghese’s 4 Restaurants program. The name is not by chance: it was the “father” Alfredo who opened it 15 years ago, and today it is managed by the children, Giorgia and Gianmarco, together with grandmother Elsa who helps in the kitchen and the other family members who work in dining room. The decor is what you might expect from the typical Roman fraschetta, from red and white checked tablecloths to wooden tables and chairs. The cheese and charcuterie counter is in plain sight and full of delicacies. And if you want to move away from the typical Roman first courses such as carbonara and gricia, there are also delights such as pappardelle with wild boar or pork ravioli. Ad appena una trentina di chilometri da Roma, nell’area dell’antica “Tiber”, ovvero l’attuale Tivoli, si trova una delle aree archeologiche più importanti e meglio conservate di tutta Italia: parliamo della cosiddetta “Villa Adriana”, il complesso di edifici che fece costruire l’imperatore Adriano a partire dalla prima metà del II secolo d.C., e che oggi si estende per circa 120 ettari di terreno, in una zona, tra l’altro, ricca di fonti d’acqua. È perfetta da visitare durante l’estate, facendo una piacevole gita “fuori porta” per una giornata. La visita, infatti, che si può svolgere sia liberamente che con delle guide specializzate, dura circa tre ore, ma volendo si può effettuare anche una visita più breve, che tocca solo gli edifici principali e dura circa un’ora e mezza. La bellezza e la perfetta conservazione del sito archeologico ha fatto sì che Villa Adriana venisse dichiarata nel 1999 Patrimonio dell’Umanità dall’UNESCO. LA VISITA All’inizio della visita del sito, si può vedere il plastico che riproduce tutta la zona archeologica. Subito dopo c’è il cosiddetto Pecile, un portico al cui interno era presente un giardino con una grande vasca centrale. Proseguendo, si osservano le Cento Camerelle e l’Antinoeion, edificato nel 130 d.C. per onorare il giovane Antinoo, annegato tragicamente nel Nilo. L’edificio è stato riportato alla luce durante gli scavi tra il 2002 e il 2005. Da qui si procede godendo della vista delle terme con Heliocaminus, che permetteva di riscaldare l’ampia sala in cui erano contenute: si tratta dell’impianto termale più antico del complesso. Accanto alle terme si trova la cosiddetta Sala dei Filosofi, con un accesso principale ornato da due colonne: si chiama così per via delle sette nicchie sulla parete di fondo, in cui si pensa che fossero collocate le statue di sette saggi dell’antichità. Poco dopo, si può visitare il Teatro Marittimo, uno dei monumenti più famosi e rappresentativi della villa, nonché simbolo dell’architettura innovativa del luogo. Si chiama così per via del fregio a soggetto marino che corre lungo la trabeazione dell’edificio: oggi è possibile ammirarlo di nuovo in tutto il suo splendore grazie ai lunghi e impegnativi lavori di restauro.

UNA VISITA IMPERDIBILE/ AN UNMISSABLE VISIT

GLI ORARI Villa Adriana si può visitare tutti i giorni, ma gli orari cambiano a seconda dei periodi dell’anno. Questi sono gli orari estivi, dal 1° maggio al 31 agosto: dalle ore 9.00 alle 19.30. Attenzione: la biglietteria chiude sempre un’ora e mezza prima della chiusura degli orari di visita. È comunque sempre bene accertarsi che le visite siano possibili, perché a volte, per motivi tecnici o di sicurezza, il sito potrebbe risultare temporaneamente chiuso.

Ancora oltre, si possono ammirare diversi altri edifici, tra cui l’Antiquarium, che oggi custodisce numerose sculture ritrovate durante gli scavi degli anni ’50 del secolo scorso. Poi c’è una struttura composta da due edifici, chiamati Biblioteca Greca e Biblioteca Latina: entrambi si affacciavano sul giardino ornato di una lunga fontana, ed erano collegati da un portico. Da vedere anche il Palazzo Imperiale, il primo effettivo nucleo della residenza e della costruzione. Attraverso una scala, si accedeva al Cortile delle Biblioteche. Proseguendo, si giunge alla Piazza d’Oro, così chiamata per il suo prezioso arredo sia architettonico che scultoreo. La struttura fa pensare che questo edificio avesse importanti funzioni pubbliche, nonostante fosse staccato dal resto della villa. Non dimenticate di visitare poi un altro monumento simbolo di Villa Adriana, ovvero il Canopo, che si trova all’interno di una valletta con una vasca (di 119 metri per 18) che termina con un’esedra. Qui c’era un grande spazio per i banchetti all’aperto, arricchito da spettacolari giochi d’acqua. Un’altra delle meraviglie architettoniche da non perdere è la Caserma dei Vigili, enorme edificio a più piani dove risiedevano le guardie in servizio nella villa. INTORNO A VILLA ADRIANA Se avete una giornata da trascorrere nei pressi di Tivoli, potreste decidere di visitare, oltre a Villa Adriana, le altre due spettacolari ville presenti nei dintorni, ovvero Villa d’Este e Villa Gregoriana. Vi si può accedere direttamente dal centro della parte alta della città di Tivoli. La prima è un vero e proprio capolavoro del Rinascimento italiano, anch’essa inserita nei Patrimoni dell’Umanità dell’UNESCO, e famosa per le numerose fontane e i meravigliosi giochi d’acqua che offrono. Quanto a Villa Gregoriana, non perdetevi le splendide Cascate dell’Aniene, che si possono ammirare nel parco altrettanto spettacolare della villa.

Just about thirty kilometers from Rome, in the ancient “Tiber” area, or the current, Tivoli, is one of the most important and best preserved archaeological areas in all of Italy. We are talking about the so-called “Hadrian’s Villa”, the complex of buildings that the emperor Hadrian had built starting from the first half of the second century AD, and which today extends for about 120 hectares of land, in an area, among other things, rich in water sources. It is perfect to visit during the summer, making a pleasant trip “out of town” for a day. The visit, in fact, which can be carried out both freely and with specialized guides, lasts about three hours. You can also make a shorter visit, with only the main buildings and lasts about an hour and a half. The beauty and perfect conservation of the archaeological site awarded Villa Adriana a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. VISIT At the beginning of the visit, you can see the model reproduction of the entire archaeological area. Immediately after there is the so-called Pecile, a portico inside where there was a garden with a large central basin. Continuing, you can see the Hundred Camerelle and the Antinoeion, built in 130 AD. to honor the young Antinous, whom tragically drowned in the Nile. The building was brought to light during excavations between 2002 and 2005. From here you can proceed by enjoying

the view of the thermal baths with Heliocaminus, which allowed it to heat the large room in which they were contained: it is the most ancient of the complex. Next to the baths is the so-called Hall of the Philosophers, with two columns decorating the main entrance; and names this for the seven niches on the back wall in which it is thought that the statues of seven sages of antiquity were placed. Shortly after, you can visit the Maritime Theater, one of the most famous and representative monuments of the villa, as well as a symbol of the innovative architecture of the place. It is named after the marine ornament that runs along the entablature of the building. Today it is possible to admire it again in all its splendor thanks to the long and demanding restoration work. Further on, you can admire several other buildings, including the Antiquarium, which today houses numerous sculptures found during excavations in the 1950s. Then there is a structure consisting of two buildings, called the Greek Library and the Latin Library: both overlooking the garden adorned with a long fountain, and are connected by a portico. Also worth seeing is the Imperial Palace, the first actual nucleus of the residence and construction. A staircase led to the Library Courtyard. Continuing, you reach the Piazza d’Oro, so called for its precious architectural and sculptural furnishings. The 77

structure suggests that this building had important public functions, despite being detached from the rest of the villa.

Do not forget to visit another symbolic monument of Hadrian’s Villa, namely the Canopus, which is located inside a valley with a basin (119 meters by 18 meters) that ends with an exedra. Here there was a large space for outdoor banquets, enriched by spectacular water games. Another of the architectural wonders not to be missed is the Police Station, a huge multi-story building where the guards on duty in the villa resided.

Hadrian’s Villa can be visited every day, but the times change depending on the time of the year. In the summer, from 1st May to 31st August: open 9.00 to 19.30. Attention: the ticket office closes an hour and a half before the closing of visiting hours. However, it is always a good idea to make sure visits are possible in advance, because sometimes for technical or security reasons, the site may be temporarily closed.

AROUND VILLA ADRIANA If you have a day to spend near Tivoli, you might decide to visit, in addition to Villa Adriana, the other two spectacular villas in the surrounding area, namely Villa d’Este and Villa Gregoriana. They can be accessed directly from the center of the upper part of the city of Tivoli. The first is a true masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance, also included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and famous for the numerous fountains and the wonderful water features. As for Villa Gregoriana, do not miss the splendid Aniene Falls, which can be admired in the equally spectacular park of the villa.

“Il mio speciale processo di lavorazione della maglia”, spiega la stilista “permette di creare capi strutturati ma estensibili, che non si stropicciano e non necessitano del ferro da stiro anche se rinchiusi in minuscole valigie” [Maria Cristina Righi] Fin da bambina Roberta Redaelli presenta una forte passione per i tessuti e la moda. Decide così che questo sarebbe stato il suo futuro. Si diploma all’Istituto d’Arte di Cantù e successivamente segue corsi professionali di specializzazione in disegno tessile e in costume e scenografia per il teatro. Finiti gli studi, a vent’anni, inizia la sua avventura all’Ambrosini Batex, una delle più grandi aziende tessili del comasco che si occupava di alta moda. Passa poi a L’Araldo, un piccolo converter dove si occupa di stile, del rapporto con i clienti e del contatto con stamperie e tintorie. Qui a soli 22 anni, ha anche la possibilità di volare numerose volte a Parigi per curare le stampe per la linea uomo di Yves Saint Laurent. Da questi primi anni deriva la grande competenza tecnica sviluppata sul campo. Impara a conoscere e riconoscere le diverse tipologie di tessuti, le tecniche di stampa, le reazioni dei tessuti ai trattamenti e alle fasi di lavorazione, la resa dei tessuti in base a modelli e trattamenti, come possono venire tinti e stampati. A venticinque anni Roberta Redaelli fonda a Cernobbio la casa di moda con il suo nome che oggi vanta una personalità unica e d’avanguardia basata sulle numerose esperienze italiane e internazionali della stilista. Nel 1994 decide di iniziare la sua espansione sul mercato internazionale con la sua prima sfilata a Ginevra. Innovativa anche nel comunicarsi, dal 2010 Roberta Redaelli sostituisce alla classica sfilata un nuovo modo di presentarsi al pubblico. In sinergia con aziende di aree diverse dalla moda, la stilista crea eventi unici e originali. Forte dei risultati ottenuti con ECLèCKTICA by Roberta Redaelli, la sua prima linea su misura che dal 1988 la contraddistingue, nel 2014 lancia Roberta Redaelli Professional Corporate Wear, progetto dedicato alle aziende del lusso (Luxury Hotels, banche private, aziende produttrici di yacht, tra gli altri), che consiste nello studio, nella progettazione e nella realizzazione di divise totalmente personalizzate e di altissima qualità oltre che in uno speciale servizio di assistenza post vendita. Nel 2019 nasce R4R Redaelli’s Family Project, un altro nuovo progetto che realizza con il nipote Riccardo. Si tratta di una linea di Streetstyle giovane e contemporanea con una forte componente artistica, perché dal 2022 ogni collezione viene realizzata in collaborazione con artisti legati al mondo della Street Art. Grazie ad anni di ricerca e sperimentazione Roberta ha anche sviluppato con il suo team, una soluzione innovativa per la lavorazione della maglia. Il processo, chiamato Dinami-Tecs, consente di ottenere capi strutturati che presentano l’indeformabilità nella sagoma e le linee proprie di un tessuto a navetta, ma conservano allo stesso tempo le caratteristiche di estensibilità, elasticità e comfort tipiche della maglia. “Abbiamo scelto di rispondere ai desideri e ai bisogni della donna di oggi: dinamica e in costante evoluzione – spiega Roberta - Grazie al processo Dinami-Tecs proponiamo infatti un vero e proprio stile di vita. Come definirebbe lo stile del brand? Il mio brand principale è, a oggi, ECLèCKTICA by Roberta Redaelli che dal 1988 si contraddistingue per non seguire le mode e le tendenze ma per saperle anticipare con sensibilità e coraggio. Posso dire che i capi di questa linea sono capi femminili ma con un’allure senza tempo e sempre contemporanea. Lo stile varia da collezione a collezione. Per ogni stagione mi lascio ispirare dall’arte, dalla natura e da ciò che mi circonda seguendo il mio istinto e la mia vena creativa. In generale posso dire che il mio brand è per tutte le donne che non si accontentano ma vogliono capi versatili, di altissima qualità e con uno stile unico e originale. A che donna si rivolge? Le donne a cui parlo con le mie collezioni sono donne decise, di carattere. Donne abituate a ricoprire ruoli importanti e a essere protagoniste della propria vita. Sono donne che non hanno paura di osare e di essere al centro della scena. Donne che ricercano la vera qualità e capi che siano in grado di durare nel tempo. Donne sempre in movimento

che hanno bisogno di capi in grado di cambiare pelle con pochi accessori diversi e che non si stropiccino durante i numerosi viaggi. Quali sono le fonti d’ispirazione per le collezioni? In genere mi lascio travolgere e ispirare da tutto ciò che c’è di bello nel mondo, anche se la mia fonte d’ispirazione preferita e più ricorrente è l’arte nelle sue mille sfaccettature, tanto che ho trasformato la mia nuova linea di streetstyle R4R Redaelli’s Family Project in un collettore d’arte, una forma di mecenatismo moderno, per dare spazio ai giovani astisti e alla Street Art. Come sono cambiate nel tempo le collezioni? Le mie collezioni, possiamo dire, che si sono evolute nel tempo ma sono sempre rimaste in qualche modo fedeli a se stesse. Cambiano linee e materiali perché ricerca e sperimentazione per me sono fondamentali e amo regalare alle mie clienti sempre nuove esperienze da indossare. Sono cambiate perché non voglio che ogni collezione sia semplicemente una riproposizione della precedente e lasciandomi ispirare ogni volta da influenze diverse riesco a rendere ogni collezione davvero unica e irripetibile. Quello che non cambia sono i valori alla base del mio lavoro. La qualità altissima, la cura estrema del dettaglio, il vero made in Italy, la tradizione sartoriale italiana saranno sempre alcuni dei caposaldi imprescindibili della mia azienda. In quali mercati siete presenti e quali pensate di affrontare? A oggi posso dire che siamo presenti soprattutto in Svizzera e in Italia, con le mie linee ECLèCKTICA by Roberta Redaelli e R4R Redaelli’s Family Project ma non mancano collaborazioni con altre nazioni come Francia e Germania e ci stiamo muovendo per arrivare agli Emirati

Arabi e alla Cina con cui avevo già lavorato per lungo tempo durante la mia carriera, ma allora i tempi non erano maturi e il prodotto non era ancora così ottimizzato come oggi. Quali sono i programmi e i progetti futuri? Per quanto riguarda i progetti futuri c’è la volontà di far crescere e consolidare sul mercato la linea R4R, che può portare delle novità in un settore, quello dello streetstyle, che oggi è molto lanciato ma molto appiattito su se stesso. Vorrei riuscire a portare delle vere novità e a creare un brand in grado di fare la differenza. E mi piacerebbe molto anche implementare il servizio di Professional Corporate Wear che ci sta dando delle grandissime soddisfazioni e si sta consolidando come un ramo importante della produzione aziendale. Sto anche puntando su una linea di giacche coordinate per uomo e donna. Sono circa tra anni che abbiamo lanciato questo progetto e spero di ampliare la proposta maschile realizzata con i miei esclusivi tessuti per cui è stata presentata una domanda di brevetto. Che importanza e ruolo ha il viaggio nelle sue collezioni? La mia linea ECLèCKTICA by Roberta Redaelli è nata proprio per rispondere a una particolare esigenza: quella delle donne che sono sempre in viaggio. Io, in primis, mi sono trovata fin da giovane a girare il mondo e ad avere sempre la valigia in mano. Per questo ho deciso di studiare e creare una moda che potesse rispondere a tali esigenze. Così è nato il mio speciale processo di lavorazione della maglia, il DinamiTecs che ci permette di creare capi in tessuto maglia strutturati ma estensibili, che non si stropicciano e non necessitano del ferro da stiro anche se rinchiusi in minuscole valigie. La moda è uno strumento e deve adattarsi alle donne e agli uomini che la indossano e non il contrario.

ROBERTA REDAELLI THE PERFECT STYLE FOR THE WOMAN WHO TRAVELS

“My special knitting process”, explains the stylist “allows you to create structured but stretchable garments which do not wrinkle and do not require an iron even if stuffed into the tiniest suitcases” Since childhood, Roberta Redaelli has had a strong passion for fabrics and fashion. She decided this would be her future. She graduated from the Cantù Institute of Art and then followed professional specialization courses in textile, costume design and scenography for theater. After finishing her studies, at the age of twenty, she began her adventure at Ambrosini Batex, one of the largest textile companies in the Como area that dealt with high fashion. She then moved on to L ’Araldo, a small converter where she took care of style, the relationships with customers and contact with printing and dry cleaners. At just 22 she also had the opportunity to fly numerous times to Paris to do the prints for Yves Saint Laurent’s men’s line. She developed great technical competence in the field from those first years. Learning how to know and recognize different types of fabrics, printing techniques, reactions of the fabrics to the treatments and processing phases, yield of the fabrics based on models and treatments, and how they can be dyed and printed. At the age of twentyfive, Roberta Redaelli founded the fashion house with her name in Cernobbio, which today boasts a unique and avant-garde personality based on the stylist’s numerous Italian and international experiences. In 1994 she decided to start her own expansion into the international market with her first show in Geneva. Since 2010, while being an innovative communicator, Roberta Redaelli replaced the classic fashion show with a new way of presenting to the public. In collaboration with companies from areas other than fashion, the designer created a unique and original event which strengthened the results of its first tailor-made line, ECLèCKTICA by Roberta Redaelli, and further distinguishing it since 1988. In 2014 Roberta Redaelli Professional Corporate Wear launched a project dedicated to luxury companies (Luxury Hotels, private banks, yacht manufacturing companies, including the others), which consists, in the study, design and production of totally customized and high quality uniforms including a special after-sales service. In 2019, R4R Redaelli’s Family Project was born, another new project that she launched with her nephew Riccardo. It is a young and contemporary Streetstyle line with a strong artistic component because starting 2022 each collection is created in collaboration with artists linked to the world

of Street Art. Thanks to years of research and experimentation, Roberta has also developed with her team an innovative solution for knitting. The process, called Dinami-Tecs, makes it possible to obtain structured garments that exhibit nondeformability in the shape and lines typical of a shuttle fabric, but at the same time retain the characteristics of extensibility, elasticity and comfort typical of the knit. “We have chosen to respond to the desires and needs of today’s woman: dynamic and constantly evolving explains Roberta - Thanks to the Dinami-Tecs process, we offer a real lifestyle. A perfect fashion for the modern, cosmopolitan woman, who always has a suitcase in hand, ready to go from the office to a cocktail party in a few minutes and for whom is eager for versatile, classic garments that do not crease and wrinkle easily. Research and innovations are two key aspects for Roberta and her team which are essential for anticipating market trends and offering a cutting-edge product. For this reason they have experimented with innovative materials such as bio-ceramic and silver yarn with proven medical properties. Alongside these, the brand offers mobile materials such as elastic silk and fabrics such as Sensitive, offering a technical aspect but with great versatility and wearability. How would you define the style of the brand? My main brand to date is ECLèCKTICA by Roberta Redaelli which since 1988 stands out for not following fashions and trends, but for knowing how to anticipate them with sensitivity and courage. I can say that the items in this line are feminine but timeless with a contemporary allure. The style varies from collection to collection. I let myself be inspired by art, nature and what surrounds me each season and by following my instinct and my creative vein. In general, I can say that my brand is for all women who are not satisfied and want versatile, high-quality garments; quality with a unique and original style. What woman is it aimed at? The women I speak to with my collections are determined women with character. Women who are used to holding important roles and being the protagonists of their own life. They are women who are not afraid to dare and to be at the center of the scene. Women who are looking for true quality and garments that are able to last over time. Women always on the move who need garments that can change their skin with a few different accessories and that don’t get wrinkled while traveling. What are your sources of inspiration for your collections? Generally I let myself be overwhelmed and inspired by everything that is beautiful in the world, even if my favorite and most recurring source of inspiration is art in its many facets. So much so that I have transformed my new line of streetstyle, R4R Redaelli’s Family Project, into an art collection. A form of modern patronage, to give space to young artists and Street Art. How have the collections changed over time? My collections have evolved over time but have always remained somehow true to themselves. Lines and materials change because research and experimentation are fundamental for me and I love to always give my customers new experiences to wear.

They change because I don’t want each collection to be simply a repeat of the previous one and by letting myself be inspired each time by different influences. I can make each collection truly unique and unrepeatable. What doesn’t change are the values underlying my work. The highest quality, the extreme attention to detail, the real made in Italy, the Italian tailoring tradition will always be some of the essential cornerstones of my company. In which markets are you present and which are you planning to tackle? As of today I can say that we are mainly present in Switzerland and Italy, with my ECLèCKTICA by Roberta Redaelli and R4R Redaelli’s Family Project lines, but there are also collaborations with other countries such as France and Germany, and we are moving toward the United Arab Emirates and China. I have previously worked with them for a long time during my career, but then the time was not right and the product was not yet as optimized as it is today. What are the future plans and projects? As for future projects, there is the room for growth and consolidation of the R4R line in the marketplace that can bring a buzz to the street style sector having already been launched but falling flat on itself. I would like to be able to bring real new trends and create a brand that can make a difference. I would also very much like to implement the Professional Corporate Wear service which is giving us great satisfaction and is consolidating itself as an important branch of company production. I am also focusing on a line of coordinated jackets for men and women. We have launched this project for about three years and I hope to expand the men’s offering made with my exclusive fabrics for which a patent application has been submitted. What importance and role does travel play in your collections? My ECLèCKTICA by Roberta Redaelli line was created precisely to respond to a particular need: that of women who are always on the go. First of all, I found myself traveling the world from an early age and always having a suitcase in my hand. This is why I decided to study and create a fashion that could respond to these needs. This is how my special knitting process was born, the Dinami-Tecs which allows us to create structured but stretchable knitted garments, which do not wrinkle and do not require an iron even if stuffed into tiny suitcases. Non si deve pretendere di abbronzarsi in fretta. Per non danneggiare i tessuti (con una serie di effetti secondari anche gravi, nel tempo), l’esposizione deve essere graduale. Ecco perché: - I raggi ultravioletti (UV) che abbronzano la pelle sono infatti radiazioni elettromagnetiche, potenzialmente dannose per la salute. - Le radiazioni UV emesse dal sole sono di 3 tipi: radiazione UVA, UVB e UVC, a seconda della lunghezza d’onda associata, e quindi dell’energia (la più alta è quella degli UVC, la più bassa è quella degli UVA). - Maggiore è l’energia della radiazione UV e maggiore è la sua capacità di produrre effetti dannosi.

PROTEGGERSI DAGLI ASPETTI NOCIVI DEI RAGGI SOLARI - Crema solare? È indispensabile e va applicata ogni 2 o 3 ore e ogni volta che ci si bagna - Da non dimenticare che i raggi solari non si lasciano fermare del tutto, oltre che dall’ombrellone, neanche dal cielo nuvoloso. - È raccomandabile esporsi al sole, anche con la protezione solare, solo nelle ore meno calde quando il livello delle radiazioni UV è più basso, evitando così le ustioni solari, specie sulla pelle dei bambini. Se notate arrossamenti sulla pelle sappiate che è già troppo tardi, si è già preso troppo sole! - La pelle resta danneggiata ogni volta che si verificano ustioni cutanee ed aumenta il rischio di cancro della pelle (melanoma) - Occhi, incarnato e capelli (che costituiscono il cosiddetto fototipo) possono dirci molto su quanto siamo fragili o resistenti di fronte all’esposizione solare perché il colore della pelle incide sulla sua capacità di assorbire i raggi UV. - Ogni tipologia di pelle richiede quindi un fattore protettivo adeguato. Se, ad esempio, si ha una carnagione molto chiara con lentiggini, occhi azzurri e capelli rossi bisogna utilizzare una fotoprotezione estrema; al contrario, pelle scura, occhi scuri e capelli neri necessitano, generalmente, di una fotoprotezione più bassa.

- I raggi UVC, i più dannosi, sono per fortuna completamente filtrati dall’atmosfera e non raggiungono la superficie terrestre. - I raggi UVA e i raggi UVB sono invece bloccati solo in parte dall’atmosfera, e possono determinare sia l’abbronzatura che le scottature; - i raggi UVA – che rappresentano il 95% della radiazione solare che arriva sulla Terra – pur avendo energia minore degli UVB penetrano nella pelle più profondamente e si ritiene che essi siano un fattore molto più influente per il fotoinvecchiamento (invecchiamento cutaneo causato dal danno cronico provocato dai raggi ultravioletti), per le rughe e per i tumori della pelle.

Mass tourism, overtourism and consumerism have gone out of fashion. It is time for everyone to take part in healthy responsible tourism, and never before do we need to change course. The country that best embodies this type of holiday, not only today but alwyas, is definitely Iceland. From as early as the 1960s, a group of five farmers decided to open the doors to their farms to the first adventurers who decided to retrace the footsteps of Giulio Verne in search of the center of the Earth. They rented rooms and involved the travelers in daily activities. Today, 160 farmers are part of the “Hey Iceland” family, with accommodations throughout the island. Imagine staying in a log cabin with a peat roof, admiring mighty waterfalls from your bedroom window, or a black sand lava beach from your accommodation’s patio. A true Icelandic experience, no doubt about it. In Iceland, nature, in its most primordial form, reigns supreme. Geysers with hot jets (such as the Great Geysir), erupting volcanoes (such as Eyjafjallajökull, the “glacier of the mountains of the islands”) and lands that boil from the subsoil (such as the mud pools of Namafjall). SNell’immaginario collettivo la Liguria evoca subito le immagini delle Cinque Terre, di Portofino, delle acque azzurre della Riviera. Un luogo molto pittoresco fra montagna e mare, dove la straordinaria bellezza naturale si combina con la mano dell’uomo: le case dai colori vivaci e i borghi arroccati sulle coste. spiaggia. Abbiamo fatto un tuffo nella cultura locale, fortemente radicata nella storia e nelle tradizioni del paese. Abbiamo provato diverse attività, dalla marcia acquatica al Nordic Walking, partecipato a una lezione di cucina per imparare a fare il pesto e apprezzato degustazioni di olio e di vino locali. A differenza delle destinazioni più grandi e conosciute, Laigueglia mantiene una sua autenticità senza pretese. La gente del posto è accogliente e desiderosa di condividere la ricchezza e la bellezza della regione coi visitatori. Il centro storico della cittadina è pittoresco e pedonale, pieno di edifici colorati molto caratteristici. Qui troviamo una delle chiese più grandi della Liguria, la Chiesa di San Matteo, eccezionale esempio di barocco ligure. Laigueglia e la zona circostante hanno qualcosa da offrire a tutti, indipendentemente da quanto siete allenati o atletici! Dopotutto, si tratta del paesaggio che ritroviamo nelle poesie di Eugenio Montale, con una vegetazione rigogliosa e una costa mozzafiato.
